Setting: Floor 81
Format: Party style, whichever format you prefer
Summary: ~~When two busybodies start plotting, all hell breaks loose.~~ "Waver's Anniversary" (or more informally known as Waver and Diarmuid's wedding party.) It's just a party. Nothing to see here. That cake is white just by... accident... and decorated to match the rings... yeeeeeeep... complete accident.
Warnings: Someone may decide to drown a couple people... who knows.

[In case someone is observant enough to notice, Waver and Diarmuid have been wearing matching rings... and under the disguise of a convenient excuse, that being Waver's one year anniversary in the Tower, Lancer and Reno have thrown a party to celebrate.

Keeping the relationship a perfect secret, of course. It's just a party. Good times, shooting the breeze, card games. Unfortunately, there's no booze. The lounge has been set up with a buffet with food from the Floor Sixty Kitchen, and there's a cake.

The cake happens to be white, and decorated. And that celtic knot decoration may just be matching the rings. Complete accident, of course.]

[This did seem slightly disproportionate...on the other hand Reno was far too pushy with this kind of thing and may have had a punch in the face coming.]

Tch...Revertaris. [The maid almost immediately dropped into a liquid puddle and flowed back up into a glass vial in Waver's hand.]

How many times must we go through this, Reno? Are you truly this committed to pissing me off, or is doing so some social convention that's flown over my head?

[Standing up, Reno places both hands on his hips, pulling his loose blazer back.]

My parents died when I was a child. I was raised primarily by an uncle on my father's side--we weren't very close. When I was a teenager, I enrolled in the Clock Tower and moved out.

[All of that was said in a very matter-of-fact voice, with no clear emotional reaction.]

So no, I mean it literally when I say Diarmuid is more or less my only family. What does that have to do with anything?

[Pursing his lips in thought, Reno stands there for a moment with a thoughtful frown on his face.

Then he grins and walks over to slap Waver on the back.]

Lucky for you, I got just the thing; a big family. Don't make me send Shion and Xion with orders to bug ya and do their adorable thing...

Ow--! [Waver stumbled slightly, glaring at Reno like he was planning to commit murder.]

That's fighting dirty and you know it.

Don't think I won't stoop to gettin' Ryoji and Yotsuba to do it too.

Don't think I won't call up Volumen Hydragyrum again.

Yeah, but by then I'll be surrounded by the kids. Can't stop it, Waver. You're gettin' domesticated whether ya like it or not.

You're just fortunate I find it in bad taste to break your jaw in front of your kids, Reno.

Diarmuid already beat ya to it, anyway.
