march 6th | sam's birthday! [open log]

Characters: Lelouch [personal profile] doasisay and anyone else who would like to come along for Sam's [personal profile] undroppedeaves birthday.
Setting: Lelouch starts out in the cafeteria and then heads elsewhere for Sam.
Format: Doesn't matter. Whatever you wanna do!
Summary: Today is Sam's birthday. He's been such a good friend to everyone that Lelouch has decided (with the uncooperative help of Waver) to throw him a small party. Everyone is welcome.
Warnings: None as of right now.

Lelouch didn't know that much about Sam, but he did know that he deserved as much kindness as he gave everyone else in this place. This place was (more or less) hell for others and he kept a smile on his face. That was something that Lelouch thought was very brave.

Lelouch had been in the cafeteria all morning, baking a cake for his friend. He had invited Waver but...he didn't seem to show. It didn't bother him though, I mean, he had just moved into the room and they hadn't exactly gotten to know each other yet. He wanted to do this for Sam though. A party for Sam would've been nice, but he didn't know all of Sam's friends. So Lelouch had tried his best to get in touch with others and invite them along to meet in their room.

Once the cake (except it's a white cake with white fondant on it and the writing is blue) was ready, Lelouch put it in a box and carefully made his way to the second floor and to their room. He had been hoping that Sam would be away for a bit so that he could get it finished in time.

It's no worry, I forgot myself actually [He smiles sheepishly] It's a birthday present [Of course, big folks are strange]

[Rick is still confused, but in a friendlier, kind of embarrassed way, accompanied by a small chuckle.]

Y-You m-mean...b-but I'm s-s-supposed to g-give you a--w-well-- [Or is that just a hobbit thing? Rick stops himself short.] --a-ah--n-never mind. Th--Thank you.

[He blinked] It's alright, I guess big folks have different traditions than hobbits. But giving presents on birthdays is one of ours. [He found it hard to imagine, birthday presents seemed like such a basic thing for any people to have]
