march 6th | sam's birthday! [open log]
Characters: Lelouch
doasisay and anyone else who would like to come along for Sam's
undroppedeaves birthday.
Setting: Lelouch starts out in the cafeteria and then heads elsewhere for Sam.
Format: Doesn't matter. Whatever you wanna do!
Summary: Today is Sam's birthday. He's been such a good friend to everyone that Lelouch has decided (with the uncooperative help of Waver) to throw him a small party. Everyone is welcome.
Warnings: None as of right now.
Lelouch didn't know that much about Sam, but he did know that he deserved as much kindness as he gave everyone else in this place. This place was (more or less) hell for others and he kept a smile on his face. That was something that Lelouch thought was very brave.
Lelouch had been in the cafeteria all morning, baking a cake for his friend. He had invited Waver but...he didn't seem to show. It didn't bother him though, I mean, he had just moved into the room and they hadn't exactly gotten to know each other yet. He wanted to do this for Sam though. A party for Sam would've been nice, but he didn't know all of Sam's friends. So Lelouch had tried his best to get in touch with others and invite them along to meet in their room.
Once the cake (except it's a white cake with white fondant on it and the writing is blue) was ready, Lelouch put it in a box and carefully made his way to the second floor and to their room. He had been hoping that Sam would be away for a bit so that he could get it finished in time.

"Well parties are a tradition and there's always cake and games. We invite folk but it is pretty much expected that most of Hobbiton will turn up anyways. Hobbits like parties."

"There's hope here though, which is better than some places I've seen."

"I...can hardly imagine how terrible it must be. Can it even be called living is there is no hope?"

But birthdays were not times for sad thoughts and he smiled, "Well as I say you are welcome to come and try some of the cake, it really is delicious."

He turns back to Sam with a smile, "Enjoy your party. It was a great pleasure to meet you."
