Summary: You have been transported out of the Tower, and you must return quickly.

It's pitch black here, though the ground is made of dirt and the Tower gleaming in the distance provides at least a sign that light exists somewhere. It's completely silent. It feels as if things might jump out at you--but that's probably your imagination.

...Ah.

[She closes her eyes and nods.]

Then why has Zo not yet joined us outside?

[warriorscribe]

I don't...I don't think that's what he wanted to do. He wanted us somewhere else, as far as I can gather. I don't know if he knows we can't survive out here or not...

*They seem to be lasting longer than he thought they would, at least...*

[glassceiling]

It is his prison as well. He should be trying to escape. Especially...considering what Ruana might do to him...

[warriorscribe]

*Enoch shakes his head.* He was born here. It may be his prison, but to him, it has always been home. We are the ones whose worlds he, Ruana, or both have destroyed.

*His eyes don't leave the tower in the distance.* I'm worried he will confront Ruana on his own now. Dax said he would be strong enough, but...

*If Zo dies, all hope will be lost. That much he feels is true, from what Dax had to say and because in no small part the boy had become something of a symbol of hope to him, much as Dax had become. Someone who lost someone precious and then followed in his footsteps instead of adhering to the remaining negative influences in his life.*

How could Zo have destroyed our worlds? I thought he was the one who was supposed to be saving us?

[Because she had been caring for Claudia the last couple of days, Assassin had missed the meeting on the secret floor.]

Still...we must make it back to the Tower quickly. For his sake.

It might not have been Zo, particularly. But he had a hand in it. Ruana...was likely lying about the return of the force which destroyed this world. Dax found the only pattern in the destruction was the involvement of this world.

When we return to the tower, go to the secret place. I've left all we've found there.

*Because honestly, telling the whole thing while walking didn't sound appealing.*

[glassceiling]

By the sound of that...Ruana might have...

[She trails off, not wanting to think about their worlds being destroyed. Not when there are more pressing matters.]

Yes, I will.

[She doesn't mention that they might not even get back to the Tower.]

It's what I think...and what Zo said only brings more truth to it.

*All the more reason to get back there as soon as they possibly can.*

[glassceiling]

...Let's hurry.

[Assassin's steps quicken. If Ruana really was the one who had destroyed all those worlds, then it's yet another reason to fight against her.]

[warriorscribe]

*And if Zo had realized this, he may be attempting to stand against her. He presumably can, at this point, but Enoch doesn't want to take chances yet.*

We can't go so quickly we can't make it! There's supposedly a city outside the tower and we can't even see it!

[glassceiling]

[She stops in her steps.]

...Perhaps the city is already behind us?

[warriorscribe]

*He shakes his head.* Princess Zelda told me it was on a hill overlooking the city. We would see the hill if we were between the tower and the city.

[glassceiling]

[She nods. It seems travelling with be harder than she thought, since there's an entire city.]

Then let's hope that it won't be too big of a city.
