For Thine Is; Part One
Characters: anyone outside of the Tower
Setting: outside
Format: any
Summary: You have been transported out of the Tower, and you must return quickly.
Warnings: psychological horror
It's pitch black here, though the ground is made of dirt and the Tower gleaming in the distance provides at least a sign that light exists somewhere. It's completely silent. It feels as if things might jump out at you--but that's probably your imagination.

Are you all right?

Yes...as good as I can be.
[Considering where they seemed to be and what was happening, he couldn't complain.]
I've never been terribly fast, I'm afraid, even in good health.
[Though he was trying to walk as quickly as he could manage, his limitations were certainly showing.]
Thank you for your concern.

*He's had plenty of experience covering long distances on foot, after all. Though he had angelic stamina for much of that.*

That's really very kind of you to offer...but I'd hate to think of inconveniencing you.

If you're sure, then I'd be most grateful for the help.
[And to be honest, it really was a relief, even if it was a bit embarrassing to know how often he was being carried.]

It's the least I could do.
