For Thine Is; Part One

Characters: anyone outside of the Tower
Setting: outside
Format: any
Summary: You have been transported out of the Tower, and you must return quickly.
Warnings: psychological horror

It's pitch black here, though the ground is made of dirt and the Tower gleaming in the distance provides at least a sign that light exists somewhere. It's completely silent. It feels as if things might jump out at you--but that's probably your imagination.

We should...I think it's a bad idea to stay out here.

[He hates the feeling outside-of-the-tower gives him and wants to get rid of it as soon as possible. At least there's a definite point for them to travel to, though.

Will you be able to make it that far?
fragileprophet: (That's a good idea.)

[Ion hesitates at the question, staring ahead as he walks. Of course, he doesn't plan on ignoring Luke; that would be rude. He simply has to take a moment to figure out the best possible way of answering that question.

He didn't want to lie. He also didn't want to make any promises he couldn't keep. So he just does what he can to appear reassuring as he keeps the same-old-smile plastered across the faint image of himself that hides beneath the wires.]

I'll do my best. [A beat.] I can't help but be hopeful when I'm in such good company.

[Luke doesn't think he's being ignored. He walks beside Ion, momentarily distracted by trying to puzzle out why he can see himself underneath his wireframe-plus-liquid body.]

Great. Uh...Let me know if you need help, I can carry you for a while. Or something.
