Our wisdom flows so sweet....
Characters: Mitchell, a bee and you.
Setting: Floor 6
Format: You lead, I'll follow
Summary: Contemplating on his recent regain with his bee friend.
Warnings: None
[Well this most certainly was quite the gift to receive...even if it currently doesn't work. He held the Argartha Conduit above his head as he sat against one of the trees in the forest. He had come here to be alone, to get as close Her as possible, while contemplating on his latest gift. In truth he didn't really expect to get anything this time around, but having a now moody, and extremely upset, child who can smuggle stuff in for you, was extremely helpful. He supposes, so long as he doesn't try and kick everyone outside again in a fit.
But now to focus back on his current inquiry. The object currently in his hand did not seem to be capable of connecting him to where he wished to go. However he did not expect it to do so in the first place. It was given to him by someone belonging to the Tower after all, so any and all defects would have been expected to happen either way. It was, however, just as infuriating that the bee, now resting on one of his shoulders, could not do anything about it.
Nor did attempting to charge it with his Anima, or taking it to a place that at least somewhat resembled nature.
So now, here he was, sitting on the ground and playing with the piece of stone. Not quite certain what his own move should be right now, only an idea of where things were heading as of this moment.]

You have no idea how relieved that makes me feel, knowing someone who knows such a problem.
[He studied her features rather more discreetly. Looking for any body language tha might prove her to be possible trouble. Or any details to exploit should she prove to be trouble. Granted that from what he could pull out of his memory about the woman before him...she shouldn't be too much of a troublemaker. Of course he doesn't know here personally either, or remember seeing any files of her on the Network....]
Kind of the same...though mine is more of a philisophical and relaxing nature.
SO SORRY THIS IS LATE
[To which she's pointing at the collar around her neck. It was hardly a fashion statement and certainly one she'd not pick for herself. Then eyes land on the assault rifle and, for the briefest of moments, she has an expression of unbridled joy.]
Interesting. A man who likes to come out into the woods for philosophical reasons....and carries an AR.
[Hello you beautiful piece of machinery.]
Is it full or semi-auto?
No, don't worry about lateness! :3
[Such as having a chip implanted into your spine. Fun times. Though his own collar is blue in color should that interest her any.]
Interesting, a woman who comes out in the middle of nowhere for privacy. But, wow, and recognizes her guns. I am impressed. Not many people even take notice of. [Until he is forced to use it. In which case they take quite a bit of notice.]
It can be both, to answer your question.
<3!!
[Like being beaten to an inch of your life. Water-boarded with black fluid that is teeming with your planet's greatest evil's essence. A blue collar isn't all that unusual and earns little suspicion. At least it colors better against his skin than the brilliant orange of hers.
He return of her own words, as well as words of approval, earns a little grin.]
In my line of work, you need to know what'll get the job done right the first time. [Not to mention she had a little bit of love for the weapons, but that'll remain unsaid.] Oh? Simple switch or full-on modification?
\o/!
[Or being ripped in half, getting eaten alive, having an unspeakable horror try and rip your soul apart, or his favorite, being caught in an explosion. Because the last one always made him feel so much more like a badass.]
Really? Are you one of those people who work in shady pawnshops across the country? [In truth that is a rather normal accusation. On fact she should somewhat giddy at being considered one of the few normal people here...congratulations. However he himself does enjoy his weapons, especially firearms.]
Just a switch I hit whenever I am in need of either or. Also features a grenade launcher.
no subject
[Or being turned into a demon to be electrocuted, or being struck down only so your body could be cut open, entrails worn as a scarf, and your hands, head and heart coddled in the very hands that killed their own.]
I was better funded than that, though I'm very much acquainted with shady alleyways and dark rooms. [Because being in her line of work actually paid pretty well in her world and the benefits plan. It was one to kill for. Literally.] Hell, there were times I got to work on the bright beaches of Costa.
....Ah! [Its a little gasp of breath, excited if not elated. She's not had her hands on that type of weaponry in AGES. Hands come to press together with a faint 'clap', clearly excited about this news.] You're kidding. Did you at least come with some ammo?
no subject
[Or be set on fire, drawn and quartered while still alive and awake. Being shot in the stomach, however, is always the worst.]
So am I, on both accounts. You could say that I am the top dog, gangster-g. But at least you get vacations. [He gets sent to forgotten cities, other realms of reality. While getting seduced by fake, Russian women who turn out to be, surprise, evil; and cut his legs off with a high powers laser. Fun times.]
...Cute. But yes, I have more than enough dakka to level the entire Tower.
no subject
[Because there are other things she'd prefer to not recall if she didn't have to. Though, yes, being shot in the stomach is the absolute worst.]
...Gangster....G... [An eyebrow raise and unfortunate look of amusement.] Is that what they called you?
[Because that sounded horrible and didn't really command authority like 'Turks' did. Then again, in his world, it might have. She gives a short, audible laugh.]
I didn't say I got vacations - more like team-building retreats that included infiltration, search and seizure. A few things that meant getting your hands dirty.
['Honey' and 'cute' in the same conversation. Thems dangerous territory you're walking in, fella. Oh, but the idea of being able to level the Tower to take out the Admins - if only she could think of a way to get everybody out first before pulling off that kind of destruction.]
I'm going to assume dakka is some sort of power source and move on to the - you've got to show me how you've made the attachment so you can switch between the differing rounds. Did you attach a forward grip to support to added weight at the front of the barrel?
no subject
[But he most certainly understands, and respects it...for now anyway.]
Most call me...Tim.
[She probably will not get that reference, but he would be damned before someone starts calling him "Gangster-G". He has to be called Studmuffin first.]
Vacation's all I ever wanted, even if its a corporate one, vacation, magical getaway!
[Please, he has faced the wrath of a woman scorned before. And no he did not like it. But hey, she seemed to enjoy the idea that he had presented. In truth he might be capable of it. Though this reality would most likely whisper, "No." Before banishing him to a dark oblivion. It should be noted that he does not like being banished to dark oblivious.]
Well saddle on over here cowgirl and I shall let you touch my rifle. Just go easy on her, she is my little princess.
no subject
[Because you never know just what sort of people live in the tower. For all she knew, this man could be another Ganon, though far less uglier than the original.]
Tim, hmm? [That's certainly normal name and doesn't bring forward any reference whatsoever.] Be careful what you wish for. A vacation could end up turning nasty rather quickly if you're discovered too early. I didn't want to see the bill the President got for that hotel room that was left looking more like swiss cheese.]
You're too kind - most people would hesitate to show off such weaponry to a stranger. [Footsteps bring her a bit closer, knees bending so she can squat down near it and get an eyeful.] Oh, I promise to be as gentle as a lamb. I wouldn't want to break something so pretty.
And here I thought I responded ;;
Oh I know that all to well. [This is technically a working vacation for him right now.]
Well most people are not as cool and filled with epic win like me. [A shrug, he's joking of course. But she is going to find that there are no bullets in the weapon"]
pfff, s'all good!
Oh, I don't know about that. You might have some competition in the 'cool' category...
[There's a hint of a teasing grin, hands reaching out to take the weapon from its resting place. Even squatted she manages to find the proper grip, bringing the butt to rest against the flat of her shoulder, appraising. The weapon is lifted as if she was going to fire, checking sights and weight.
And then it hits her.]
....No mag?
;3;
Really? From who?
[Seriously, who? Who thinks they're cooler than him?]
No, safety first...let me show you something.
XD
A man named 'Dia' for starters. He can be an ass sometimes, but he's pretty cool overall. And then there's a man named Reno, but I might be a bit biased in that regard.
[An eyebrow lifts and she offers the weapon back, still curious about the weapon but disappointed that she can't seem to figure out what it uses for ammo.]
Show away.
:3
[But he takes his weapon in his hands. Standing up before turning to a tree that was neither far away, nor close by. Placing his finger on the trigger for his grenade launcher and pulling the trigger.
With a loud 'thunk' a grenade made of our energy fired itself out of the launcher. Beeping as it hit and attached itself to the tree. Before long it let out a burst of energy, destroying it with a loud bang.]
Knock, knock!
no subject
....Red?
[Okay, Tim. You've calmed her anger some with that magical weapon of yours and the beautiful explosion. Oh. Its a sound she missed hearing - when the explosion wasn't trying to kill you, of course.]
Shiva's tits! Where's the ammo coming from?
no subject
From here?
[He wordlessly points to the barell from which the explosive was launched. As for where the explosive came from...he may just leave that up to her imagination. It was easier that way instead of having to explain a bunch of convoluted plot. Who here is actually interested in the mysteries of the Universe anyway?]
