Cue Mission Impossible Soundtrack

Characters: Echidna and anybody~
Setting: Room 1-01 and Anywhere else in the Tower
Format: Starting prose, will match you!
Summary: Echidna's on a mission to root out the truth behind this conundrum and attempts to be the best damn spy this place has ever seen. Results may vary.
Warnings: The most ridiculous AU ever

At first she thought she would be late to class when her alarm clock didn't wake her up. And then she thought ...well she didn't know what to think when she saw the white ceiling that was suspiciously not her own. When she could move, she wasted no time getting to action; she had read the note and passed it off as silly. Was this one of Tammy's LARP games or something? It was pretty hardcore for something she'd play.

First step; get out of the jumpsuit. Who knows what that was used for, it could have been reading her body signs or something! She was glad to find her things in her trunk, and had quickly changed into a shirt, skirt, a pair of boots and threw on one of her coats. Second step was the matter of the collar; on the one hand, it could have contained poison, but on the other hand, it might have had a dead-man fail safe that killed her if she tried to remove it. best to leave that be for now.

Her primary concern became trying to find any bugs or hidden cameras in the room. She...wasn't exactly a spy master (as much as that'd be really freaking cool), but she could at least try! And that making a stack of books to stand up and getting real up close and scrutinizing every possible corner in the room ever.

Next on the list; figure out what this place was exactly! Echidna was a far cry from believing any of this apocalyptic nonsense, and so it was off into the tower she went exploring, trying to find any eye or antennae of their creator. She liked to think she was sneaky, looking around corner before going down hallways and peaking down stairwells before descending but her...rather bright choice in fashion was an easy give-away and made her pretty noticeable.

(OOC: You know the drill, just let me know wherever else in the tower you want to be~)

"A clue? A clue to what?" Romeo has jumped to his feet, his paper back in his shoulder bag. He had been getting tired of writing anyways!

"I like exploring! Are you new? I know lots about the tower I can help you!"

"A clue for what is going on here, and what we are supposed to do!" She stated as if it has been obvious.

"Oh, yes! I am new and I love exploring! Back home I would climb in my friends' trees and sneak into their houses at night!" Echidna bent a little and made an overexaggerated cat burglar-sneaking pose, before giggling. "That would be great if you could!"

Romeo smiled, "I like exploring too, the tower is fun to explore but some bits are really really scary!" He picked up his bag and the weasel, who promptly ran to sit on Romeo's head, and skipped over to the girl.

"The bad people kidnapped us and brought us here," he told her, "And we need to find a way to help everybody escape!"

"Aw do not worry, I am sure they are not that bad!" Echidna grinned and held up her fist in a half-flexing movement. "Most of the time places like this just want you to be scared because you do not know what will happen, so you just have to not let it bother you!"

Then again her biggest horror experience was walking through a bad neighborhood. She might not be the most reliable source.

"I will help you no problem!" She's practically beaming by this point. "They cannot keep everyone here for after all!"

Romeo shook his head, he didn't want to scare her and he knew she was only trying to keep his spirits up which was nice but she had to know! So that she she could protect herself and her friends.

"No they are really bad. They pretended to be doctors and gave me antlers and made me like a deer person and then they made my best friend kill me! They are really really bad!"

Then he smiled again, "I am glad you will help! We will make them send everyone home!"

Alright, she thinks the kid is kind of nice and all, but there's a definite skepticism on her face replacing the smile at his story. Even she wasn't that gullible!

"Ooook...! Yeah, that is pretty bad I guess. Do not worry I am sure everything will be fine~"

"Like I said, no problemo!" A chuckle, and she's back to a smile. "I am pretty good at sneaking out of the house and into things back home, so it will be easy!"

Romeo frowned but then he figured that she must just be really really brave! To hear that and still be able to keep her spirits up! So he smiled and nodded. "I am sure it will be! Where do you want to explore first miss?"

"Alright!" Now that that silliness was settled! "Uuum, I do not really know much about this place, so we can go wherever you want to go! Lead the way!"

Echidna grinned and gave a fake salute, before blinking dumbly a bit. "Oh no, I am sorry I did not introduce myself! My name is Echidna! Heheh, you do not have to call me miss, I am not THAT old!" And she extended her hand for a handshake.

"I am Romeo," He shook her hand happily, "It is nice to meet you Echidna." He smiled and skipped forward, "Well the library is really fun, and there's also a swimming pool and a room full of fish."

"Oh, like the play?" She shook his hand happily, and after a moment released it. "Nice to meet you, Romeo!"

She spun a bit on her heel to follow his skipping. "Oooh, fish!" She gave a happy clap of her hands. "Aah, what kind of things do you think the library has~?" She wanted to see everything at this rate!

"What play?" Romeo blinked in confusion, "I like plays! Do you? I have a puppet theatre we can put on some plays if you like!"

He grinned, "The library has so many books! It has lots of story books and they are my favourite!"

"Romeo and Juliet! It is a famous play by William Shakespeare about two teenagers that fall in love, but they cannot be together because their families hate each other!" Echidna overexaggerated hand movements to fit with the bit of tl;dr, before clapping happily with a giggle. "Ooh, a puppet theatre? That is adorable! I would love to help~!"

"Story books a great too!" Man this place was sounding awesome so far. "I have a friend back home who introduced me to a lot of books and told me lots of stories! When I was little I would read them out loud to myself and give all of the characters there own voices, hehe~!"

"Oh! Alfredo liked reading William Shakespeare but it is still too difficult for me! That's a sad story, do they get to be together in the end though?" He smiles and nods.

"We are going to perform Moby Dick, you can join in. Do you still read outloud? Do you still do the voices? Can you read to me miss? We can go to the library first in you want!" He is skipping off in that direction anyways.

Echidna gave a small frown here. "No, they both die in the end." Welp. "I was not very good at William Shakespeare in school, but I have a friend who has helped me understand it more!"

Her pout was quickly gone of course, because now she was giggling happily some more and grinning from ear to ear. "Sure, I would love to read to you! I do not know many books, but if you pick one I can read it to you!"

And she is skipping along with him. Because this is exciting!!

"Oh..." Well that didn't sound like a very nice book! He grinned though, it was always nice when your friends helped. "You went to school miss? I bet it was really fun! Did you learn lots of things? Did your friends get to go to school too?" He's leading the way to the library whilst staring at her in amazement and asking all the questions!

"I bet it was really great in your world! I'll pick a book to read, do you like dragons?"

"Oh yes!" Yes she's somehow even more excited talking about school. It was better than depressing plays where everyone dies in the end at least!

"I did not used to go to school when I was younger since my parents taught me. but then I started going to classes on my own and I still do! I learned all sorts of things like stuff about physics and astronomy and biology! Not all of my friends go with me, but I do have some and one of them is studying to be a doctor~" She's looking pretty proud of herself right now.

"Dragons are cool but I always liked werewolves better!" She said with a giggle. Dragons were really more Teresa's thing than hers really. "Although I was waiting for a game called Skyrim that has dragons in it! They are fun too~!"

"You're parents taught you? Are they teachers? They must be really clever! What's astronomy?" His eyes got even wider and his smile brighter as she mentioned her friends.

"A doctor? They must be a really good person because only good people become doc..." He remembered the bad doctors here who had turned him into a deer creature, "Well doctors should be good people. I bet your friend is a good person though! My friend Bianca wants to become a nurse!" He stopped to take a breath.

"Skyrim? What kind of game is that? Is it fun? We can play it here right? How do you play? Do you need real dragons?"

"No, they are scientists!" Beaming with pride! But then a moment of mild surprise. He didn't know what astronomy was?! This had to be rectified. "Astronomy is the study of space! Like the planets and the starts and meteors~!"

Echidna quirked her head to the side curiously a bit when Romeo trailed off. "Do you know a bad doctor...?" Interested, yet blissfully unaware of how...bad they could really be. Which was evident by the fact that next she giggled a bit. "Sam is a meanie face sometimes, but he is really very nice! I am sure Bianca is very nice too then!"

"No, it is just a video game, silly!" With another laugh. "Sadly I do not have it with me, but there are no real dragons required."

"Study of the stars!" He grinned widely, "That must be lots of studying there's so many stars!"

He nodded, "I know some bad doctors..." He didn't say anything else though since she had already ignored his warnings, "Bianca is really really nice I am sure Sam will be a great doctor!"

He frowned and then nodded, "You mean like on the floor with all the tele... television," he pronounced the strange word carefully, "They might have it there!"

"Yes! I do not get to study all of the stars individually or anything, but I know a lot about them!" Ask her any time Romeo, Echidna would love to infodump you planetary science any time, any place.

"Sam will be really good! And I am sure Bianca will be a very good nurse~!" Still smiling, despite the bit of sad. "I think there are a bunch of people that are bad people, but there are also a lot of people that are good! Including doctors. So do not worry!"

"Te~le~vision~!" She repeated for him properly, just in case he wasn't quite sure. "You think so?! Then we should go check that out next!!" Possibility of the best new video game ever being around here? Hell. Yes.

"That sounds really fun, my friend says that school is boring but I bet it is really fun. I know, most people are good people really but some of them are bad."

He nodded, "Let's go!" He turned to go that way, "Oh did you want to go there first, or the library?" He wanted to go to both, but they would have to go to one first before they went to the other!
