Cue Mission Impossible Soundtrack

Characters: Echidna and anybody~
Setting: Room 1-01 and Anywhere else in the Tower
Format: Starting prose, will match you!
Summary: Echidna's on a mission to root out the truth behind this conundrum and attempts to be the best damn spy this place has ever seen. Results may vary.
Warnings: The most ridiculous AU ever

At first she thought she would be late to class when her alarm clock didn't wake her up. And then she thought ...well she didn't know what to think when she saw the white ceiling that was suspiciously not her own. When she could move, she wasted no time getting to action; she had read the note and passed it off as silly. Was this one of Tammy's LARP games or something? It was pretty hardcore for something she'd play.

First step; get out of the jumpsuit. Who knows what that was used for, it could have been reading her body signs or something! She was glad to find her things in her trunk, and had quickly changed into a shirt, skirt, a pair of boots and threw on one of her coats. Second step was the matter of the collar; on the one hand, it could have contained poison, but on the other hand, it might have had a dead-man fail safe that killed her if she tried to remove it. best to leave that be for now.

Her primary concern became trying to find any bugs or hidden cameras in the room. She...wasn't exactly a spy master (as much as that'd be really freaking cool), but she could at least try! And that making a stack of books to stand up and getting real up close and scrutinizing every possible corner in the room ever.

Next on the list; figure out what this place was exactly! Echidna was a far cry from believing any of this apocalyptic nonsense, and so it was off into the tower she went exploring, trying to find any eye or antennae of their creator. She liked to think she was sneaky, looking around corner before going down hallways and peaking down stairwells before descending but her...rather bright choice in fashion was an easy give-away and made her pretty noticeable.

(OOC: You know the drill, just let me know wherever else in the tower you want to be~)

To Ventus, she was being loud and not sneaky - but he thought that almost all humans where loud now - an effect of his prior captivity and isolation from all other humans. Then again, compared to Unversed and Vanitas? Most things were rather loud.

So when Echina passed one of the shelves that Ventus was at the base of reading, he visibly winced, keyblade forming in his hand. It only stuck out a little, given that he had his right side to the girl and he was left-handed.

Because that was his ~~learned~~natural reaction to being approached when outside dorm 1-12. ~~Even then he still was wary.~~

~~Oh fine Ven, ruin all of her hopes and dreams, why don't you~~

It may have been for the most part hidden, but it was kind of hard to notice a giant...whatever the heck that was suddenly appear in someone's hand, especially if you were trying to investigate what was going on in an inconspicuous fashion. Although Echidna had absolutely no idea what that thing was, but at the least that guy had just summoned a giant blunt instrument out of nowhere!!

And so with a small yelp of surprise (that just served to make her even less inconspicuous), she hurriedly skittered back behind the nearest corner.

"CHI!!!"

Are you ready for one of your bffs running at you at near-top speed (for him), looking like a tornado just blew through his wardrobe?

"Chi you're here oh geez I'm so glad you're okay but wait what are you doing here have you seen Rai I was over at his house I think this might be a prank by Dick he was making jokes about me disappearing and now this happened but he never joked that with you so what the heck!?"

Wow she was pretty sure she hadn't seen Ammy move that fast since that time he saw that Wizards of the Coast booth that one time they went to a con. There was just about as much lack of punctuation too.

"--Ammy?!" Was about as much as she was able to squeak out and she drew her arms up in the terrified suspicion that he was going to crash into her. Not that she'd be surprised.

"Uuuh.... I haven't seen Rai, and what are you talking about?" Unstated: chill out, brah.

Can you fault him for being EXCITED? Or in this situation, ANXIOUS?

He managed to keep from bowling Chi over, but it didn't exactly work well in the long run, since he nearly toppled back trying to keep from knocking her over. Coordination wasn't his strong suite.

"We're, I think we got abducted! Somehow! I don't know how!"

Nah that's basically just another Tuesday.

She let out an "eep!!" and quickly stepped forward to grab Ammy and help steady him in case he ended up falling over.

"Abducted?" Oh that, kind of made sense. She was continuing to be alarmingly calm about this though. "Wow, this is really elaborate. I think Dick would rather just lock us in the bathroom again."

"We have collars and I woke up in a weird body suit and there's like, robot thingies and people with screws in their heads and-"

At least he was using commas? Amadeus had the sense to take several deep breaths after a moment of rambling, holding his forehead.

"S...sorry..."

Echidna gave a small laugh in an attempt to try and make Amadeus feel a bit better, and she gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "It's OK! Just calm down and pretend it's a video game! Or one of those live action role plays!"

"We woke up in a weird place that said our world is destroyed in funny jump suits and weird collars. What do you do?"

"...go home and quit this stupid campaign!" Ammy pouted, rubbing under his glasses. "Dick probably signed us in to slavery or something!! I don't think this is a game, Chi! I don't even have any socks...!!"

Echidna gave a rather pathetic and awkward chuckle at Ammy's reply. She certainly didn't blame him at the very least.

"You can have some of my socks if you want." She offered with a small pout. Assuming you didn't mind girly socks with hearts and flowers and pandas.

"Dick's mean, but I don't think he'd sell us into slavery. I am not even sure if he has those kinds of connections!"

"...do you have any stripey ones?" He likes stripey socks. But hey, sock hope made him feel a bit better.

"I dunno, he does kinda, you know...make girls disappear and stuff." Ammy made a poof motion with his hands. "But why else would we be here? I don't remember signing up for this!"

[ Well, yes, you are pretty noticeable. Thing is, though, Link is just busy practicing her swordwork here because she likes the open atmosphere.

Not that, you know. Anyone can even tell she's a she, but that's sort of aside the point. There is kind of no way that someone made a cosplay THIS GOOD and then proceeded to train this much. Backflips, certain other theatrics, and so on. After all, couldn't let those sword skills rest in a place this dangerous.

Geek, stare, other? ]

"Of course!" What kind of sane person didn't have stripey socks? Seriously. The mention of such was enough to make her pretty happy already.

"Oh come on, you know those are just silly rumors the trolls started! There's no way he could actually make a bunch of girls disappear!" And she copied Ammy's poofing hand motion.

"...besides Ammy, you're not a girl." duuuuuuuh.

Her ninja mission possibly could've been successful if she hadn't gotten distracted. Because Oh. My. Gosh. That was the best costume she'd ever seen and holy crap those moves that is so cool!!

So yeah she's basically distracted watching Link practice for a bit, attempting to hide on the staircase, before she popped up onto the floor unable to contain her excitement.]

Oh my gosh, that is so cool!!

[ Oh, there is a girl running up to her. She lowers her sword and shield, blinking--honestly, she keeps getting such strange reactions here, she wonders why that is.

... She can only assume the girl means "cool" not in the sense of the temperature. A compliment, then? ]

Ah... thank you.

[ She's a Hylian of few words, though she is quietly assessing whether or not she knows this girl. Maybe she's new? ]

Romeo liked this floor, even though sometimes the spirits came here and they could be a little scary, but none of them tried to kill them anymore so for the most part this floor was one of the nicest in the tower. Except for the library.

He had brought some paper and was sat on the spiral staircase writing slowly, a script for his puppet show that him,Eridan and Molly were planing. He hadn't been able to find the book Moby Dick in the library so he was writing down what he could remember.

He saw the brightly dressed girl and moved to the side so that she could get past him.

[Unluckily for Link, Echidna could do enough talking for the both of them, and probably a talk show host.]

Where did you learn to do that?!-- Are those real...?! [She asked, gesturing towards the sword and shield.]

Well, that was obvious he had seen her. Damnit! She snapped her fingers and stomped one foot lightly as she pouted. Once she got over it though, well, it wouldn't hurt to say hello. Thus she turned to Romeo and smiled.

"Heeey~! What are you doing?"

Romeo looked a bit worry and the foot stomp but smiled nervously. "Writing a story miss, what about you?"

Piccolo, his white weasel, stired from his spot on Romeo's shoulder to wriggle his nose at the girl.

[ ... Why do people keep asking her these odd questions, she doesn't even. ]

... I learned on my own.

[ As for the second question, that gets a nod. She is fairyless, unfortunately, or this is probably where Navi and Echidna would never. Shut. Up. ]

It would be wise if you armed yourself as well--this tower is very dangerous.

[ Can't have you plucky kids running around getting hurt. ]

"I dunno, he could be in to magic too. I know at least four misdirections he could have used to dissappearify or whatever some girls! Especially if that hole in the basement actually does lead somewhere...!!"

Howwver, his precious Dick-is-a-slaver theory was shot down by one little detail- Ammy's manliness.

"...well, he does call me Amelia sometimes." Hmph. Dick.

"They call Eric 'Erika,' but I do not think any of them want to have sex with him." Lineface. Seriously Ammy sometimes you're ridiculous. Hands go on her hips as she keeps talking, blissfully unaware of the serious business.

"Besides, I am pretty sure this place is not connected to Dick's basement. I peaked in there once and it was just full of a bunch of his weird puppets and some other game stuff." A beat. "Really I think a rat just made that hole."

[~~Echidna and Navi would be the best friends ever just saying~~]

You taught yourself how to do that?! [Whooooah.]

[Her amazement and fangirl-yness is distracted however, at the next thought.] Dangerous? What do you mean? Did someone fall off the top or break one of the windows or something?

"I'm exploring!" She exclaimed excitedly, her previous ire at being detected now gone away.

"I'm going through every floor here until I find a clue!" Her hands were on her hips and she had a bold stance; she was obviously taking it as more of a game or a competition than anything actually serious.

"--Oh, hello there~!" Echidna added, making a small wave at the little weasel. How adorable!

[ She frowns, deciding the danger of the tower is far more important than how she was fairly good with a blade. ]

... No. I mean that there are many creatures in this tower that would bring you harm... and that the people who took you here may bring you to harm as well.
