The first time Ienzo had seen the Unfortunate Network Post, he hadn't caught the "I SEE YOU", or anything of the kind. He probably should have, though, considering it filled the entire room.

Somehow the computer's volume control had been messed with, and the entire floor is now being graced with a loud refrain of "MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY" and whatever creepy song that was. Ienzo is trying to turn it off, but he looks more concerned with the fact that it's broadcasting all across the room than whatever content is being played.

[For a moment, she just frowns at the computer. Then,] You're welcome.

[After another few seconds, she turns to look at him, but doesn't say anything. Got anything to come clean about, Ienzo?]

[He nods, and when he feels her gaze on him, he turns around to meet it. Sorry, Naminé, he's okay in the secrets department. How about you? Got any burning suspicions?]

[None that she's about to share. She looks back at him... then turns to stare at the computer again.] ...What were you doing when it--... started doing that?

Hm. [She nods slowly, mulling it over. She's still not sure what to think of Ienzo, but the more time she spends around him the harder she finds it to be suspicious of him... even if there's still plenty of reason to be. More pressing at the moment, however, is another issue.] ...What do you think those messages mean?

...right now, honestly... i think it's just scare tactics... [Who knows what the future will hold, though. Maybe there are going to be a bunch of creepy little girl phantoms wandering the halls, asking for their mothers. Pretty pathetic, honestly.]

That would make sense. [Her brow knits. She's not sure which is a better thought; that the people who control the tower are purposely trying to alarm them or that there might actually be someone out there in trouble. Either one is terrible.] ...Because there's no way that it's just a glitch. [She shakes her head.] It wouldn't be the first time.

...the text can't be read. they obviously meant to say something else... [If they could figure that out and retrieve the context, well, everything would suddenly become much easier. But obviously, that's not going to come easy. And for these two computer-illiterate derps it may not come at all.]

Mm. [Fortunately for them, Naminé knows someone who ISN'T a computer-illiterate derp. If he doesn't hear about it, she'll make sure he does. In the mean time,] If we wait a little while, I'm sure there are people who will try to figure how to get all the information they can from the messages. ...If it's possible to get any, that is.

...yes. [There are plenty of people here who knew enough to sort something out. People who, unfortunately, he hasn't exactly contacted yet. Oh well.]

[See, this is why socializing is a good thing, Ienzo; you meet people who can save your behind when it needs saving. She's quiet for a bit, contemplating the situation.] ...I guess... if they really do think they need to scare us, they're not as powerful as they seem... unless it's another experiment.

[Hey, socializing is a foreign concept. Even after, like, five months of living in this stupid tower. Regardless, he shakes his head, not at all happy with this situation; the main issue is the lack of information, information which cannot be learned from a superior or found in a library. Up until this point, it seems, Ienzo had been spoiled in that respect (as he should have been). But, well, here we are.] ...one of them is a child, about ten years old. he's overridden the network before... it might be his doing, somehow...

Hm. I hadn't heard about that before. [Definitely good to know.] Maybe.... [It might have seemed strange to the average person that a child might be able to get away with such things in a place like this - but in her case, she would have to have been a fool to not realize that sometimes even the least intimidating of people had power beyond what one might believe, just looking at them. That fact definitely applied to her.] Did the messages seem like something he'd send?

...well... he wasn't always... in control of himself. [And Ienzo looks in some other direction. The unholy glowing-eye freakout that the boy, Zo (ha ha), had performed onscreen had never really left his mind's eye.] ...the garbled text might have been him... if he pressed too many letter keys...

.... [The averted gaze is not exactly encouraging, and neither is the mention of the boy not being in control of himself.] That... would have had to have been a lot of keys. [And she's not even sure that it's possible for things to look like that for only that reason. Still,] How-- "not in control" do you mean? [Ripping people's limbs off bad or temper tantrum bad--]

[And it still takes him a moment before he can respond.]

...'requiring constraint by two grown men' not in control... and not from a mere tantrum.

[Pause.]

...it was on... a network post. ...i might be able to pull it up.

[Even she gets an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach, just from watching his reaction. She sucks in a breath when he finally gives an answer. For a moment she's actually hesitant to ask to see it, but... it's relevant information, and if she's going to be any help at all to anyone, it's something she should know. ...Still, she takes a moment to steel herself before saying,] If you can, then... I'd like to see it. [Although 'like' is probably not the right word.]

[Silently, he nods and turns around again, filtering through the Network posts and making sure to never, EVER click on anything labelled mp3. Eventually, he finds the post in question (http://animus-network.livejournal.com/11127.html) and lets her watch the video.]

...this was the beginning of the power outage... were you here for that...?

[Naminé leans just close enough to see the screen without invading his personal space, patient until he finds what he's looking for. She watches in silence, but only because she presses a hand over her mouth in time to keep from gasping once things get... crazy.]

N... no. I wasn't. [This comes only after she's had a moment to recover.] I arrived a little while after that, I think. [Her headshake is late for associating with that statement, so it probably is more connected to other thoughts.] It... looked like he was trying to help.

...he probably was. ...but this is the largest irregularity i've seen on the network... until the recent ones appeared. [Not counting the erratic technical failures.]
