Dancing? Oh hell yeah! That was better than sitting around glumly wondering what the hell was going on any day!

Far be it for anyone to wonder how Amadeus found out about it, but he had his awesome backpack full of magic tricks, and was bebop-dancing around the room with no sense of shame, or self-awareness that people could perceive it as anything but cool.

It was probably the former.

[Willow had just randomly wandered into this party during her tower explorations, and then run across... this dork. Dancing.

She abruptly starts giggling from over in the corner and tries to hide it with her hand but is extremely unsuccessful.]

[Willow is very lucky that Amadeus is completely easygoing about his super slick dancydancy. After a few tapdancing moves, he popped and locked his arm out, offering it to her.]

It's funnier when you're actually doing it, trust me~

[She stops giggling all of a sudden and her eyes go wide, waving her hands in objection.] Oh no no. I am a non-dancing groupie, laugh track only. You don't want to see this. You... you have, like, fun and enjoyment, and I just have pain and tears and public embarrassment.

[Ammy dropped his arm, making a pout initially, before getting over it.]

If you don't want it, you don't need to have it- but I can teach it~

[Sorta. Mostly. 90% chance.] It's embarrassing, ya~ But honestly, that's why it's fun!!

T-Teach it? To me? I don't think I've ever had fun embarrassment. [Eying him, though, and obviously considering accepting.] Except maybe that time everyone got cursed to start singing and dancing in public. It was pretty fun up until the bursting into flames.

... Okay, but one condition. I'm all about the ladies, so no funny business, alright? [She's mostly teasing, but she does find it simpler now to just lay it straight out that guys shouldn't be interested in her. Otherwise it gets awkward.]

His dancing seemed to have attracted some attention from one of the less outgoing members of the party. Naminé was quite happy to stay where she was and giggle behind her hand. It wasn't at all a derisive laugh, just an amused one.

Go ahead and giggle, Naminé. Just try to keep being polite when he decides to boogie around you in a near-perfect square. His robot isn't completely stellar, but he's still working on it.

Oh dear, she'd been spotted. ...Unless his sudden interest in dancing in her vicinity was completely random, but she kind of got the feeling it was because she was laughing at him. The reason she was laughing still stood, and she found herself continuing to do so even as she twisted to keep an eye on him. What are you even doing, silly person?

"C'mon, try it~" Ammy stopped with his back to Nams, pantomiming his limbs hanging loose. "Wind my key please~"

Ammy half-wiggled his torso, before drooping his head. Yeah. He...he's one of those strangers your somebody told you not to go near.

"Your what?" Sorry, Ammy, she's only familiar with the kind of keys you hit people with and the ones you lock and unlock doors with. She has an excuse since he went near her, not the other way around.

Ammy drooped completely, and hung there long enough for his fingers to get tingly, before finally picking himself up and ruffling the back of his hood.

"It's a dance move. Don't worry about it, I think it's a bit antiquated anyway~"

Naminé leaned over slightly to try to get a better look at him, still rather confused, the straightened up suddenly when he started to, blinking at him. "...Oh." Feeling as though she'd failed, she frowned just a little. "Okay. I'm sorry?"

Vriska eyed him warily. The John except not John. She wasn't really sure what to make of him, but she made her way over to him anyway despite it. Her wings were tucked away this time, to be sure no one in the room saw the trails of fairy dust that would surely give her away.

"Hey, Ethelbert. Are you flailing around and trying to look like a dumbass on purpose? Because it's working!"

"Yep!" He didn't even miss a beat, and suddenly decided this prompted him to mockingly pull of a mime routine, pulling himself over to Vriska.

"You're supposed to make a complete fool of yourself at parties! Especially interspacial-universe-nonsense-whatever parties!!"

Vriska squinted at the antics, briefly considering walking away like she didn't know such an embarrassing guy. But she stuck around anyway for who knows what reason. She smirked, folding her arms over her chest as she rolled her eyes.

"Good to know humans have such ridiculous party habits! Maybe I'll stick around a little longer to watch you do just that. Even though I'm so busy and have so many other things to do. I hope you're grateful that I'm gracing you with my presence."

"Oh, I am glad, actually~" Ammy dropped his antics for a minute, rolling his shoulder. Pantomime nonsense and pop'n'lock were not exactly doing his joints any good. "I was going to try and find someone who could outdance me, b~u~t if you think this is all silly human stuff...!"

Vriska wasn't really expecting that, and it caught her off guard for a minute before she shook her head. She cocked it to the side, eyebrow raised, smirk stretching to toothy proportions.

"Did you just proposition me to a dance?"

It's probably because of her being tipsy, but Link would've normally never been so outgoing. ]

Uh- sure, 'course I can! I actually can dance, I just prefer to have fun instead~ [He held his hands up, not sure what pose to take. It was...weird, not being the leader.]

[ That's the best kind of wrong obviously. But at that, there's a small motion from the tipsy hero as they begin to lead their new dance partner into a catchy sort of dance.

Is it complicated to follow? Not at all, even Ammy can do it. This is definitely not an official dance, and more one meant to go with a fire and some folkmusic. ]

My friend and I enjoyed dancing to the songs of the woods that we lived in. I think you would have enjoyed it; it was quite lively and friendly, if you like to relax and have fun. But that doesn't mean you can't learn.
