Except for you of course. It is not really about protection per say. It is more of a strength in numbers thing, that they will hopefully be less likely to take one of us for experimentation if we are with another.

I do not presently have anyone in line to be with me. I would have asked Rose for her company but it seems she has disappeared along with all of her belongings. Perhaps I will ask Mindfang if she would like to be my partner, I think she has taken for me. Unless you are suggesting that you would like to fill that role.

She's...different. And I don't think she's the one that wrote the journal I have. Well, I mean she did but... she's playing Sgrub, our ancestors didn't. I think they scratched their session if this isn't just some crazy timeline business, and our Alternia was the result.

Hmm, that makes sense. She is both your ancestor yet not your ancestor. Just like the other Kanaya that has shown up is most likely similar to and different from myself. Although it seems like cerulean is a popular blood color for alternates, jade blood still remains rare.
