Is This Home?

Characters: anyone who got sent "home", anyone going to rescue them
Setting: your world?
Format: any
Summary: Post your nightmare world! Travel to other nightmare worlds! Save people from nightmare worlds!
Warnings: general angst/horror warnings for now

There's a bright flash of light and a screech of sound before you pop back into existence in familiar territory. Maybe something's off about it, though...

When Redglare finds herself in the room of Chidori's imprisonment, she has no context for why she might be there. But her roommate is easy enough to spot, presumably creatively strapped to an examining table, and Redglare draws closer in order to examine the situation.

"Chidori."

The approaching of a figure was enough to keep her from lashing out- none of the scientists dared approach so closely unless she was thoroughly sedated. When the semi-familiar red glasses came into view, she blinked. The troll woman. Redglare, wasn't it?

But what was she doing here...?

"How... did you get here?" Her voice was cracked and weak, but audible- if only just barely- and she tilted her head to get a better look at her. "You should not..."

She shouldn't be there. They might try and see what she was made of.

"I came through the door." What an incredibly useless answer...at least at first glance. It is certainly the truth.

"I can certainly see that you're in need of rescuing." She says that one more to herself as she examines the restraints on the table. Surely it's nothing so complicated that a legislacerator can't undo them?

"...obviously."

So she doesn't know she's in another world right now? Unusual. She had not thought the tower would make return so simple, but then again, look what her return had wrought. She purses her lips a bit at the use of the word 'rescuing'- she doesn't like the fact that it's true any more than she likes the fact that it isn't Minato or the rest of Strega doing it.

"Assistance would be appreciated."

She won't turn it down though- especially not when she's in no real condition to help herself.

Redglare goes to work on the restraints, which are in fact quite manageable.

"I don't know that going back the way I came will return us to the Tower," she cautions. "Or at least deliver us from this illusion."

Since she's reasonably sure that's what this is. It seems most likely to her, anyway.

"Illusion..?"

Was that what this was? Some game of the tower? The mere thought was enough to send Medea into a rage in her mind, and Chidori's own eyes narrowed, fairly glowing with the anger of both her and her Persona combined.

"The audacity..."

The nerve, of putting her in this place, of sending her 'home' to this fate... and it was all fake? God help the tower if that was the truth.
