There's a bright flash of light and a screech of sound before you pop back into existence in familiar territory. Maybe something's off about it, though...

If Karkat happened to look toward the computer monitors, he'd see a break in the pattern of dim light, almost too quick to catch. It was definitely the silhouette of another troll, but whoever it was made no attempt to greet him. They simply continued on their way to the sound of scraping metal against metal.

The pool of cerulean wound endlessly. It was only when Karkat reached the large pool of it that there was any sign of alternate life. Unfortunately, it came in the form of shadowy tendrils coalescing from the darkness around him, attempting to crush him into the floor.

Only then did Feferi's horrible giggling escalate in volume.
