There's a bright flash of light and a screech of sound before you pop back into existence in familiar territory. Maybe something's off about it, though...

"He..." He pauses, still unsure about the use of the term, since it was something he only knew about a short time before his arrival in the tower.

"He is my brother. Someone who stood up for what was right. Stood up against those in control." Someone who stood up to him.

A brother? Alice wondered how that was possible, given Protoman's mechanical body. While the specifics of such a relationship would elude her, she would not doubt the validity of his claim.

"I see. And I suppose you were the one in favor of that control?"

"I was not. I attempted to bring it down, a long time ago, and failed."

He continues to stare up at the monitor as he speaks. "The man in control, he rebuilt me, brought me back from the edge of death. I joined him out of necessity."

A survivor, then, much like herself. Perhaps they had more in common with each other than she had initially thought. "The way you spoke of your brother... What reason would he have to follow in your footsteps?"

"Perhaps..." Hmn. That is a good question. "Perhaps something happened. Even if I was gone, there was still an entire army to deal with. Perhaps he shared the same fate I did."
