it's like i'm looking in the mirror at someone else
Characters: [OU] Vriska Serket and you!
Setting: Around the tower, wherever
Format: Starting with action but I'll match.
Summary: Vriska takes some time to look at her life and look at her choices.
Warnings: None!
[Vriska's taken to a skulking method of wandering around the tower, instead of the confident stride she boasted before Spidermom showed up. Now it feels like she's always hiding and always looking for her next victim, and really, that's what she's doing. Not that she'll ever admit that she's hiding from anything, because she's not! That's absolutely not why she's switched back to her old outfit with her wings always tucked away to keep from leaving trails around the tower that will lead to her. She's just doing a job, a job that no one wants, and that she was guilted into. She's starting to really resent Karkat for this, because it's digging her deeper into a hole that's going to be hard to crawl out of. Not to mention the countless hours she's spending with his lusus, getting used to her like it's her lusus.
She shakes her head, frowning as she continues through the hallways and up the stairs, pointedly avoiding the forest. Her direction has no aim, she's just wandering for the sake of relieving the restlessness that builds on the days between feeding. She'd fed her again yesterday - a troll of all people, her old kismesis at that - so now she had a couple of days of freedom from the task. But it's anything but. It's just another day of checking over her shoulder for anyone who might be watching her actions too closely. Really, she's becoming as paranoid as the other cerulean. This is just getting ridiculous. She feels like she's completely losing control of the situation, and it's driving her crazy.]

[She smirks, flicking a lock of hair from her face.]
Yeah, if we're going to be stuck here the least the could do is give us some interesting floors to explore! All the ones they've given us are boring. The entertainment floor is alright, I guess. But it's nothing special.

[She smiles widely.]
I'd say you have to take me there someday, but we both know that can't happen, having destroyed it with meteors.
[Mindfang nods a little, eager.]
If only you could fit an ocean in a Tower... a girl can dream~

It's probably better that it's gone anyway. But whatever, enough about Alternia! That place is loooooooong gone.
[She shrugs, slowing the closer they get to forest.]
They fit space in here, bet it wouldn't be too hard to get the ocean in here too. But we'd need a boat.

[This idea is actually kind of pleasing her a little.]
But then we'd just need some other chumps to get boats so we could raid 'em. Like Dualscar or that descendant of his.

[There may or may not be a dreamy look in her eyes at the idea of traveling the seas with her Ancestor, two great gamblignants against the world. Or tower. Whatever. Semantics.
She makes a face at the mention of Eridan.]
Ampora? No way! Been there, done that. He got boring quick, he's not even worth raiding.
i am just full of typos tonight
An endless supply of asses to kick all day every day!
it's all good i constantly fuck up my html |D
[Reaching the forest! There's more hesitation out of her before she steps into the grass. She's not really looking forward to this.]

[She follows her out into the forest, blinking.]
Oh wow, this place is huuuuuuuuge.

[Vriska leads the way through the trees, a memorized route to the web.]
Yeah, but it's still pretty boring. Though there are some pretty big beasts in here if you really get bored enough. But that's the least important thing about this place!

She is.

Her mom-- their mom was here? In the tower? She didn't really know what to think. She was overjoyed, definitely. It had been so long since she had seen Spidermom, the lusus who had raised her for as long as she could remember.
Yet... something felt wrong.]
How did you...?

[More and more, Vriska's gotten attached to this Spidermom, even though it isn't hers. But she doesn't mention that. Because what's the point?]
No one really knows except us, and we want to keep it that way.
