This isn't the Green Sun

Characters: Aradia Megido (OU) + open
Setting: Room 2-03, floor three, floor four or anywhere in-between - just note where you're finding her
Format: Starts in prose but will match comments
Summary: This is not where she expected to end up
Warnings: None.

Aradia had always known that using Noir as a map to the Green Sun would be risky, but nowhere in any of her thoughts had there been the possibility that it would cause her to fall asleep again (at least, she was assuming that was the case) and wake up somewhere entirely different.

Still, she was used to the game throwing weird twists of fate at her. And once she read the notes, even as she wasn't sure how this tied in with what she'd been doing before, she was more than convinced that arguing the matter probably wasn't going to help.

Instead, she decided to make a start on exploring. The first and second floors held little interest; the third, however, caught her attention enough that she spent some time browsing the shelves, making note of the many volumes that appeared to offer interesting reading material. And when she reached the fourth, the vastness of the view around her was enough to convince her that perhaps it would be okay to sit here for a while.

Sollux usually didn't spend much time on this floor, but a flash of wing visible as he came up the stairs made him turn aside at the landing and follow.

He smiled with relief as he caught sight of Aradia and identified her for sure, and called out.

"Hey, aa."

Much like his Descendant, the red wings were also what caught the Ψiioniic's attention. He smiled as he came closer and confirmed that it was the young troll he'd gotten to know. "Aradia. I wath afraid you were one of the people who'd been 'sent home'," he said, approaching her with the smile still firmly on his face. "I haven't theen you for nights."

"You didn't?" He is taken aback by this, though he hugs her back readily enough. He looks her over. "You dithappeared, at leatht...I thought that wath you. What'th the latht thing you remember before you came here?" By her wing colour he assumed she wasn't from a universe with different blood colours, but there were quite a few other possibilities if she wasn't his Aradia.

[Willow liked the fourth floor herself, and had planned on coming back to scout it out better once she'd settled in. Given as she was as settled as settled could be, she used her admittedly flimsy excuse to go admire the view, only to find someone already there.

Time to be friendly. She walks over and stops a polite distance away, asking,]
Do you mind if I join you? [Now that she's close enough to see her better, she realizes--] Oh! You're like a, a troll fairy!

... Was that really rude?

Shion's mouth had dropped open when he had found the library, he had never seen so many books in his life, he hadn't thought there could be more books than there was in Nezumi's room. He was wandering through the shelves silently, running his hands over the books and looking to see if there was anything he recognised from his time spent living with Nezumi.

He stopped when he saw another one of the horned creatures, this one had wings, she was also a lot smaller than the one he had met in the cafeteria. "Hello," he said to her politely with a small smile.

"Oh... no, it's alright," Shion smiled again looking awkward. "Do you like reading too?"

[identity profile] savedbyasong.livejournal.com 2011-12-08 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
"Me neither! I've never seen so many books in my life!" He smiled again.

He shook his head, "No I arrived today... How about you?"

[identity profile] savedbyasong.livejournal.com 2011-12-08 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"I guess it does! I'm Shion it's nice to meet you!" He smiled again. "I'm sorry, where are you from?"

Shion didn't know much about the other cities but he would have thought he'd of known if the people there had grey skin, horns and wings.

"Alternia? There's n..." He fell silent, he figured telling somone the place they claimed come from didn't exist was pretty rude. "I've never heard of Alternia," he said instead, or trolls. Was that what she was?

It would have shocked Shion more if he hadn't hadn't read the note that told him his world was destroyed. "Well, according to that note the world ended and that's why we are here." He still had no idea where Alternia was, as far as he was aware there were only the six cities, though he knew there were probably more shanty towns like West Town, maybe one of them was this Alternia where this girl was from.

[Willow folds her legs beneath her and settles next to Aradia with a friendly smile. It's nice to hear someone laugh so easily.] I think it's a great view - that's why I'm here.

Just Eridan. Both of them. [Since I'm assuming her thread with canon Eridan ended up with that getting figured out...] I'm Willow; I got here about two weeks ago.

"Game world?" Shion blinked, "I don't understand." This place was even more confusing than the West Town, so many things he did not understand, that were unclear and outside of his, admitadly limited, experiance of the world.
