This isn't the Green Sun
Characters: Aradia Megido (OU) + open
Setting: Room 2-03, floor three, floor four or anywhere in-between - just note where you're finding her
Format: Starts in prose but will match comments
Summary: This is not where she expected to end up
Warnings: None.
Aradia had always known that using Noir as a map to the Green Sun would be risky, but nowhere in any of her thoughts had there been the possibility that it would cause her to fall asleep again (at least, she was assuming that was the case) and wake up somewhere entirely different.
Still, she was used to the game throwing weird twists of fate at her. And once she read the notes, even as she wasn't sure how this tied in with what she'd been doing before, she was more than convinced that arguing the matter probably wasn't going to help.
Instead, she decided to make a start on exploring. The first and second floors held little interest; the third, however, caught her attention enough that she spent some time browsing the shelves, making note of the many volumes that appeared to offer interesting reading material. And when she reached the fourth, the vastness of the view around her was enough to convince her that perhaps it would be okay to sit here for a while.

He smiled with relief as he caught sight of Aradia and identified her for sure, and called out.
"Hey, aa."

"Sollux! I didn't realise there were other trolls here. It's good to see you, though."

At his smile, however, her own expression brightened. "Well yes, I suppose it is nice now I know you're here. Maybe you can help me explore...again. Or, not again, I don't know how past me handled it."

He chuckled and nodded. "I could give you a tour if you want?"

When she spoke her tone was hesitant, not wanting to offend. "I-I'm sorry, have we met?"

It wasn't as if she was likely to have forgotten who he was, or mistaken him for someone else. He was pretty unique and memorable, and besides he looked like Sollux who was... something with her, he thought. Matesprit, or maybe moirail. Redrom, in any case.

She looked up again, offering a faint hopeful smile. "But I'm sure if past me was friends with you, I will be too?"
no subject
no subject
"Somehow that doesn't surprise me. Not the alternate timelines, I mean - those are quite bizarre - but that there happens to be two Solluxs here. It seems fitting for him, somehow."

Time to be friendly. She walks over and stops a polite distance away, asking,] Do you mind if I join you? [Now that she's close enough to see her better, she realizes--] Oh! You're like a, a troll fairy!
... Was that really rude?
no subject
Not at all. I was just...well, I'd say admiring the view but it's not really much to look at.
[She laughs a little, more so as she's referred to as "troll fairy"]
No, not at all. I suppose these wings are a little fairy-like...
[And then as her thoughts catch up with her]
You've spoken to trolls before?
no subject
Just Eridan. Both of them. [Since I'm assuming her thread with canon Eridan ended up with that getting figured out...] I'm Willow; I got here about two weeks ago.
no subject
[She hasn't seen either Eridan yet so to hear there are two of them is something of a surprise to her]
Both of them? You mean there's more than one Eridan here?
[That doesn't strike her as the best of situations but she won't judge just yet.]
It's nice to meet you, Willow. I'm Aradia; I got here today so there's still a lot for me to learn about this place.
no subject
It's the only thing that makes sense. One Eridan is a lot taller and older than the other, and I think they're from worlds that have different versions of the... the blood caste system? [Willow hadn't gotten the full details on that one.]
--Wait, Aradia? Like queen of the witches Aradia? [Eyebrows way up and more than a little curious.]
no subject
An Eridan with a different view of the hemospectrum? That'll be interested to see...wait, what?
[That last bit has her somewhat confused]
Um...no? Feferi was our session's Witch and I'm about as far removed from royalty as you could get.

He stopped when he saw another one of the horned creatures, this one had wings, she was also a lot smaller than the one he had met in the cafeteria. "Hello," he said to her politely with a small smile.
no subject
"Hi! Sorry, did you want to look at this shelf?"
She took a step to the side, so as to no longer be in his way as she had assumed she was.

Aradia gave a light shrug at the question. "Sort of. Really I was just curious to see what sort of books were here. I don't think I've ever seen such a big collection before."
