This isn't the Green Sun

Characters: Aradia Megido (OU) + open
Setting: Room 2-03, floor three, floor four or anywhere in-between - just note where you're finding her
Format: Starts in prose but will match comments
Summary: This is not where she expected to end up
Warnings: None.

Aradia had always known that using Noir as a map to the Green Sun would be risky, but nowhere in any of her thoughts had there been the possibility that it would cause her to fall asleep again (at least, she was assuming that was the case) and wake up somewhere entirely different.

Still, she was used to the game throwing weird twists of fate at her. And once she read the notes, even as she wasn't sure how this tied in with what she'd been doing before, she was more than convinced that arguing the matter probably wasn't going to help.

Instead, she decided to make a start on exploring. The first and second floors held little interest; the third, however, caught her attention enough that she spent some time browsing the shelves, making note of the many volumes that appeared to offer interesting reading material. And when she reached the fourth, the vastness of the view around her was enough to convince her that perhaps it would be okay to sit here for a while.

Much like his Descendant, the red wings were also what caught the Ψiioniic's attention. He smiled as he came closer and confirmed that it was the young troll he'd gotten to know. "Aradia. I wath afraid you were one of the people who'd been 'sent home'," he said, approaching her with the smile still firmly on his face. "I haven't theen you for nights."

Her question brought him up short, and his smile faded, replaced by an embarrassed look. "Sorry, I guess not," he said, shrugging. "I know someone who lookth like you named Aradia, but if you're her and you don't know me, I guess you're from a different timeline. That tendth to happen a lot, around here."

It wasn't as if she was likely to have forgotten who he was, or mistaken him for someone else. He was pretty unique and memorable, and besides he looked like Sollux who was... something with her, he thought. Matesprit, or maybe moirail. Redrom, in any case.

"It might be less 'patht you' and more like 'other you'," he said, returning her smile with another of his own. Just because this girl didn't remember him, didn't mean she wouldn't be just as nice to spend time with as the Aradia that did know him. "There theems to be multiple versions of thome people running around here. I know for a fact there's two Solluxs, two Eridans and two Karkats. The other Sollux and Eridan are from a timeline where the hemospectrum ith flipped, and the other Karkat jutht has a different colour of blood."

"Yeah, I never thought I'd meet thomeone more obsessed with duality than I am, because that'th saying something," Ψiioniic chuckled. "Except if you count me there'th kind of three of us now, and that ruins it."
