Format: Action spam, but I'll follow you
Summary: After getting sent back "home" Stein's in need of a cool down. Time for someone to bother her during her half-naked martial arts, clearly.
Warnings:

A sound soul- [She jumps and kicks high, gracefully landing down on her other leg, already poised for another attack] Rests in a sound body- [A low kick this time, her leg sweeping around her in a perfect arc before she's back up on her feet] And a sound mind. [She strikes out behind her with her palm, a strange electricity emanating from her hand.

She repeats the mantra and the attacks, and probably would all day if she could. It would be such a shame for someone to interrupt her...]

[Suzaku hadn't meant to walk in on her, he was just passing through. But he stopped to watch, impressed by her fighting. He hadn't been training nearly enough since arriving here, and after what had happened in the world that was not real he thought he really should become more serious about training.]

[She sensed a new soul behind her, and she could tell whoever owned it was watching her.

Breaking her routine, she spun towards him in a butterfly kick close enough to make sure he felt the air move around him, but making sure she didn't actually hit him.]

It's rude to stare you know. [She had a pleasant smirk on her face though, so she obviously wasn't actually offended.]

Sorry [He nodded his head in an apology] You fight well.

[Chuckle] You should see me with a weapon. [She cocks her neck, making it crack loudly] But thank you. I appreciate the compliment.

[He doesn't quite smile but he nods again] Where you in the army? Back in your world I mean.

I suppose you could call it that. I'm a teacher, technically, but the school I work at hunts witches, so it's sort of like being in an army of high schoolers, which when you really think about it is a little more horrifying than a typical army.

[That sounded more sad than horrifying, that teenagers were an army. Not that Suzaku could judge, having joined the army at fourteen]

They hunt witches?

And other things like them; monsters, demons, things like that.

[He tries to keep his face looking unshocked, he's heard about enough different worlds not to dismiss these things.] Why is the job left to teenagers?

That's just how it's always been done. [Shrug] It's training, really, for when they get older, so they can continue to fight and protect the innocent, and so on and so forth. We don't send them off on overly dangerous missions, unless there is literally no other choice.

[A nod] The innocent should always be protected [And he feels like a hypocrit saying it, but he did still believe it. Just sometimes it wasn't possible.]

[She shrugs. She honestly doesn't care either way; she was a loyal follower, but she bent rules when it suited her.] Not all innocents are as innocent as they seem, but I suppose you're mostly right. [She turns the screw in her head, it clicking with each turn.]

[Suzaku nodded again, that was true. He had been such as a child. He watched the screw in her head before he realised he was staring and looked away.]

No need to be bashful. You're not the first person to stare and I doubt you'll be the last.

Sorry [Suzaku looked embarased] I didn't mean to stare, it was rude of me.

I have a gigantic screw through my head. Staring really doesn't bother me at this point. You don't have to apologize to me over it.

Does it serve a purpose?

[She nods once] It helps me focus my thoughts when I turn it in the direction I just did. If I turned it the other way, it would have the opposite effect. It just changes the way my brain processes stimuli, basically.

[He blinks, not really understanding. He had a feeling that Lloyd would find it facinating though.] So the opposite way unfocuses your thoughts?

Essentially. It's useful for when I fixate on this or that. I've been told I have a slightly obsessive personality when it comes to certain things. And the best way to fix that is to break my focus.

Oh [Suzaku doesn't really understand but he nods anyways] I can see how that would help.
