Characters: Nina Fortner and you!
Setting: Different places all over the Tower. Mark in the subject line which one you want!
Format: Action tags to start with, but I'll follow you.
Summary: Nina re-adjusting to the Tower now that everything is back to being as normal as it ever is, and trying to find anything she can.
Warnings: Likely none!
Kitchen
[As the Tower demands, Nina has reported for duty. She'll be exiting the large oven, its door slamming shut ominously behind her only seconds after she leaves it.]
Floor Seven
[Even within the confines of the Tower, exercise is necessary. You might find Nina climbing into the pool, climbing out of it, or just swimming around.]
Floor Nineteen
[Nina seems to be looking for something, frowning as she walks through the second library with so many books missing. Eventually, she'll sigh and frustration and give up, possibly after slamming shut a book that looked like it might be interesting. Whatever she's looking for or whatever she hoped to find, clearly it's not here.]
Floor Twenty
[Slowly and carefully, Nina makes her way down the bumpy, slightly crumbled ramp. She's doing okay so far and doesn't seem in danger of falling. Just don't startle her.]
Stairs Between Floors Twenty-Three and Twenty Four
[Nina is staring in horror at one of her hands, which seems to have gone slightly transparent. The approach of someone else will cause her to glance up, looking frightened.]
Dormitory 1-15
[At the end of the day, Nina comes back to her dorm room, looking tired. With a soft groan, she all but flops onto her bed, and it creaks under the sudden weight.
She'll also be in and out a couple of times, earlier, in between going to the kitchen or the pool, to get things she might want to have on her while exploring the Tower.]

Floor 19 (and absolutely no one is surprised)
[And all of a sudden there's a little kid at the end of your row, Nina. He's got one or two books in his hand, and is looking at the one she just set back on the shelf; she was brought to his attention, actually, from the loud slam of it shutting. Not that he approves of such treatment to books like these, for which there may be no replacements in the Tower...]
/o/
I was. But I don't think it's here. [That's interesting in and of itself, though. She's made notes of just what has gone missing from the Tower's bookshelves.] A lot of things seem to be missing.
What's your name? [He seems awfully young to be wandering around the Tower all by himself.]

what in particular were you looking for?
no subject
A book about certain kinds of technology. But it doesn't seem to be here. [For that matter, there don't seem to be any books about technology here. Or psychology. Or history.]

...this library is missing several sections, unfortunately; you will not find it here. have you looked downstairs?
no subject
Yeah, I did. Thanks, though. It wasn't there either.
no subject
...in that case... [He folds his arms, frowning. He'd run into this problem before.] ...well... i haven't found any of the missing books. i'm afraid you may be out of luck.
no subject
Mmm. That's too bad. I suppose it was too much to hope to find anything like what I was looking for here. Do you know what other kinds of books are missing?

Astral projection? But... but why?
no subject
...my guess is as good as yours.

Egads, this is so late. I'm sorry!
[She starts to wind through the shelves and walk towards the door, pausing so he can join her.]
If you don't mind, Ienzo, I'd like to hear a little bit more about where you're from while we walk.
It's okay /patpat
...the world was called radiant garden. geography was mostly plainsland, though there were a few small settlements across the world. the largest was a central city, also named radiant garden, from which the world took its name; i came from that city.
23-24 because these two should probably meet in person!
He saw the girl who seemed almost see through and approached her in concern]
Is everything alright?
Yes, totally!
She shakes her head.]
No. I don't understand what's happening to me.
[She stares down at her own hands, shellshocked, and then back up at Suzaku.]
Suzaku...? Do you remember the floor you were just on?
Re: Yes, totally!
He frowned as he tried to think.
"No... I think there was one though..." That was strange.

But it was hard not to. Lifting up a hand, she could peer through it, and still see his face through the almost hollow outline of her flesh. Or where her flesh should be, instead of a vague, peach-color holograph.
What he said managed to cut through her worry and get her attention, though. No matter how scared she was. "So -- you don't remember either? Then..." Nina swallowed. "Is there something on that floor they don't want us to remember? Or is this just a game they're playing with us?" In the Tower, it could be either. It was even more likely to be the latter.

"It could be either, but why put it there if they don't want us to see it, it sounds like a game... we should probably go somewhere else," and work out why she was see through, and how to make her normal again.
Sorry for how slow I've been! :(
