The fog descends

Format: Whichever you guys choose!
Summary: SHADOW EVENT IS LIVE! But basically, Izanami sends out her fog and that creates Shadows that then cause trouble
Warnings: LOTS of personal issues!!!

[Disappointment. Izanami had never felt it as strongly. To watch the other residents struggle with themselves, with the parts they deny, strength faltering. It's too much. So, the goddess has decided, it's time for them to receive a little push.

She'd gone to the cafeteria in the dead of night, just around when midnight would be. And then it's simple--to just allow the fog to spill out and cover the tower, filling every nook and cranny it can find. With it will come the Shadows, and her fellow prisoners will be forced to face themselves and grow, realize their potential or die.

It will certainly be interesting to watch.]

[He's here on the gymnasium mostly out of morbid curiousity.]

[The gymnasium is full of fog when he arrives, but there is a game show set on display in the middle of the gym, with big spotlights shining down on it. At times those lights give off a crackle of power, suggesting it's not quite entirely safe here. Music starts to play as well.]

[He raises an eyebrow. This place doesn't even look like a gymnasium anymore.]

[But the weights are still around! They're just...haphazardly moved about.]

Here for the casting call? Or just to watch the drama?

[The source of the voice cannot be found.]

I guess just to watch.

[Though being addressed by an unseen voice makes him tense up.]

You're in for a real treat, tonight, then! But who knows, maybe there will be audience participation too. We'd hate to leave someone out who wants to be in part of the action.

[There might be a guy standing there, there might not. It's a generic male form holding a microphone.]

[puppy_lancer]

[He whips around to face the announcer.]

I don't know if I wanna participate in this sort of action.

I bet you think it's weird, don't you?

I've seen some odd things over my lifetime.

[Lancer doesn't want the announcer to think he's caught the Servant off-guard.]

But it's not the weirdness that's important. It's whether or not it'll be fun.

Never as odd as this one! Have you ever met a capable warrior who couldn't save a life, or 'get the girl'?

[At this point, the contestants are present, and the shadow appears with his real self. The figure of the announcer is merely an illusion, and it fades once the shadow speaks up again.]

Stick around, and I'll show you 'fun'.

[That line shuts him up immediately. It just hit home a little too hard.]

[He barely notices the fact that the announcer has disappeared to be replaced by some white-haired kid.]
