Characters : Open to any and every villain / morally gray characters in the tower.
Setting: The meeting will start in the Cathedral Floor (13th Floor). If a spy or a retrieval unit gets too close to the reunion, all participants will automatically be teleported to another floor so as to prevent information leaking. More details below.
Format: Prose for the meeting. Action or prose for the mingle threads, your choice.

Summary: As usual, this is a reunion for all bad guys and characters in the gray morals. Basically all those who think the ends justify the means, etc. If your character qualifies, feel free to post in. There are no invitations or network message about it, Ganondorf has simply spread the "rumor" that a reunion is about to happen on the 13th floor, so that all the "bad guys" can get word of it.

The reunion will center mostly around the recent events and future plotting. What the administrators do, what the "resistance" does and what the bad guys should do. Maybe plot new things, offer ideas and have villains cooperate? This post will be divided in two threads. One for the reunion proper, another for individuals mingling threads (set either before or after the reunion).

Warnings: EVIL. Evil plotting. Lovely things altogether. Heroes forbidden unless they have a death wish.


Teleportation Trick
Basically due to the recent events, a lot of villains are now tracked by Retrieval Units trying to spy their every movements. Add on to this, the good guys have taken an habit to try and spy on such reunions even if that means a certain death. So Ganondorf has devised a system that automatically teleports all participants, including their chairs, to another floor in the tower when a retrieval units gets close. It is seamless and from the participants's viewpoint, it looks as though their surrounding fade for a second before becoming a new floor.

Of course all participants will be warned of this security system before the start of the reunion, so as not to have side-eying moments if the system activates suddenly during the reunion.

[ This is the thread for general mingling. It can be either when participants arrive at the reunion, or once the reunion is over and done with. If this is pre-reunion, the setting will be the Cathedral Floor described in the reunion thread.

If this is post-reunion, the security system should have activated at least once. Hence by the end of the reunion, all the participants will be on the roof of the second tower on the 75th floor. The setting is pretty much the same than in the cathedral, same chairs, same black mist, etc. Except that now they are on the second tower's roof. ]

[Well, this guy doesn't really look like he belongs in this place at all. There's no cool outfit, no haughty pose, nothing about him that remotely shouts "evil". He just looks like the guy you randomly see scrounging around in alleyways, his disheveled look and dark eyes under his long mess of brown hair not contributing at all to the image of someone to be threatened by.]

[But he's here, leaning on the wall and watching everyone else with a sad look. Sam Erstwhile heard about this meeting and was curious. Now to see whether it's as he expected.]

This one certainly wasn't here last time. Sephiroth side-eyes over Sam for a few minutes before coming over. Keeping his expression neutral even if he might well be wrinkling his nose up inside at Sam's apparent lack of pride in his appearance.

Sure they don't inhabit their own bodies, but that doesn't mean one has to stop caring about what one looks like. This one spends more time than most trying to get keep himself clean.]

It's not as painful as all that. [Noting the sad look.]

[ Ganondorf did not pay much attention to that man. The lack of any "obviously evil" attributes didn't bother him, after all Richtofen looked pretty normal himself, aside from his Nazi uniforms. What got Ganondorf's curious was the sad look on his face, but not his problem.

As time passed though and as more people arrived, this started intriguing him more for some reason. After all, nobody was forced to come if that had to make them feel so miserable. Hence the King of Evil would turn to him with a dubious expression. Better not be a spy. ]

If you would like to know, unlike the collar check-ups-- [He casually pointed their collars.] These meetings are not obligatory, especially if they cause you such sorrow, as it would seem.

[Someone might spot this guy standing right in the middle of the room like he owns the place. ...Or at least is very, very comfortable with it.

But well, after a year since the last meeting here, some months in the wastelands and more months that Kiryu cannot recall for some reason (which is still rather irksome, in his opinion), he feels right in his element right now.]

Well, well, doesn't this look all quite familiar.

[And if his smirk is any indication, he's quite pleased by that.]

[Lingering nearby, Sephiroth raises an eyebrow at Kiryu. He hasn't seen him before, around the Tower at all even, but then Sephiroth hasn't been paying all that much mind to the habits of other residents recently.

He's much more important things to be doing currently. Keeping up the pressure on a certain near-traitor has so far proved satisfying.]

Always with the great spectacle. [He comments from a few feet away, arms lightly folded in front of his chest and eyes inquisitive to the newcomer. Well, newcomer as far as he's concerned.]

[ He had heard about this meeting a while ago. It had always made him curious, but in reality, Hagire had no goal for the longest time. Everything he's always wanted, he had simply by virtue of him being here... that is, until Wretched Egg informed him that she was once again hearing the lullaby, which had to have been the work of the Administrators. ]

But I have no choice, now. My love for the Administrators is now officially unrequited. They really hurt my feelings.

[ Mockingbird spins away, and flops down in a nearby chair. ]

I just hope Wretched Egg got my message and will be showing up, soon. ✩

[Having overheard talk about a meeting, Sephiroth had been naturally curious. It was exactly the kind of thing to draw his attenion. He couldn't not attend. The idea of doing something active appealed to him. He had been fighting monsters a great deal lately, but that wasn't enough. He wanted to do something with more meaning, something interesting, something that mattered. He also wanted to kill the administrators. Maybe the people at the meeting would have good ideas.

He might have been younger and smaller than most, if not all, of the others present, but he wasn't intimidated. He entered the cathedral floor without fear, his eyes bright as he studied his surroundings and his fellow attendees.]

[Oh... It was that kid she had met in the fog. From his words then she had thought he might not be fully of the light.

She's still wary though.] Hi.

[ Ganondorf remembered that particular boy, even though Sephiroth may not be remembering him. He had been in the Dark World a few months ago and had showed promises in the battle against the dragons.

What intrigued him most was how similar the boy looked to the Sephiroth he knew-- Most likely a younger or alternate self. Ganondorf would look at the boy for a couple seconds before addressing him. ]

... Your name is Sephiroth, correct?

[Losing a retrieval unit on a stairwell seems to have been developed into a fine art. Tricking his 'shadow' by advancing or descending to a floor and then quickly skipping back to the intended floor at least seems to buy a few minutes.

Sephiroth isn't really sure he wants to be attending another meeting of Ganondorf's. It didn't do him much good at all lending his services to the troll last time and he's not going to get pulled into such a plot again. It had caused nothing but the first in a string of inevitable deaths, and dying isn't desired in the Tower. Either way, Sephiroth would much rather know what is to be going on next even if he is already putting his own plans into motion.

He hangs back from the circle of chairs within the Cathedral until others arrive and he can gauge whether he wants to be here or not. There are most definitely some he would rather avoid, in the wake of certain experiment.]

[Strolling right in like a king, the familiar visage of Dr. Victor von Doom strolls in, although he is relatively silent about the matter. Until his yapper starts, anyway. While many do know him from the monitor, quite a few probably don't. He moves about as conceited as any other aristocrat.]

...they call this a meeting?...

Bah.

[He swats at nothing in the air. There were plenty of places to sit, and that annoying boy with the white hair wasn't blasting the room with that incessant pipe organ sonata.]

[Once finally seated, he points towards a certain person, and--]

You there! Doom demands your attention at once!

At last something to do. Nesir has been restless for a while, still not quite over being controlled, wanting to strike back but knowing not to do anything reckless.

As much as she wants to.

She's in her training clothes and currently sat curled up on a chair, she's wary of talking to people. After what happened with Ryoji, she doesn't know if these people are actually on their sides or just idiots who will betray them, accidentally or not.

[ The Great King of Evil behind this reunion (and behind too many awful things for that matter) is probably one of the first if not the first person present at the meeting, what with organizing it. As usual he considers himself as only "host" of the reunion and in no case leader, because better than anyone he knows starting a leadership war amongst the villains would be a terrible and counter-productive idea.

So you may find Ganondorf sit in a chair, looking notably bored before the reunion's start and looking at the people coming in, trying to get a quick idea of their character. After all, one of the the purpose of this reunion was to find new allies. ]

[ Just as he ascends the stairs into the Cathedral, he claps his hands. ] A party without me? I had thought I was loved more than that. [ What looks like a mere kid - though, one covered in grotesque scars - flips through the air and lands perfectly on one of the pews in the cathedral. ]

Is this where everyone hangs out? Maybe I should be a bit more social after all. I'll be needing new friends, you know. Unrequited love hurts. ✩

[ Hagire glances back at the staircase. No sign of Wretched Egg, yet. He did tell her he'd be coming, after all, and invited her along. But then again... she never was much of a team player. She hung around him, sure, but at best, she ignored Chan and En completely. He was curious to see how she'd fit in here, if at all.

He leaned forward a bit, mounting his elbows on the seat of the pew in front of him, and cradling his chin in the palms of his hands. Anyone care to approach? ]

["Villain" is not a word Shinji would use to describe himself. However, he can appreciate Sephiorth's logic for coming, and so he has tagged along alongside the other child. After all, if they're going to try kill the administrators, they might as well enlist help from people who will offer a minimum of ridiculous moral posturing about how "right" it is to do so.]

[It would probably be wise to stick near Sephiroth, seeing as his own abilities are not ones he can defend himself with, but Shinji doesn't have the best track record when it comes to behaving wisely. He's curious about the kind of people who would show up to something like this, so he wanders here and there, sizing people up with a gaze unusually critical for a child his age.]

[Naoya's more or less casual about this whole thing. Sure, he's been playing both sides, but the others here shouldn't know about that. There's no one here in that group as well, as far as he knows.]

[Whatever. He just sits and leans back in his chair, not worried.]

[Honestly, Jin didn't know much why he was still coming here, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to at least show up and listen. It was better than sitting around and doing nothing, but he didn't have much faith in whatever the next plan they could drum up was.

But hey, he was here, sitting in one of the pews of the Cathedral with his laptop on his lap, as he continued typing away on... whatever the hell he was doing. Probably just fiddling with five million word documents, let's be honest.]

[Well this was rather silly by his standards. He felt like he was in one of those meetings that alcoholics and drug users go to. Or perhaps even like a family reunion that no one really wants to go to, but were either forced to or out of sympathy. Meh, whatever may as well take a look into the people that everyone considers to be a villain.]

Are there any snacks or free beverages here? [Because that was what was truely important here...plus it may help to gain someone's attention, if his mask didn't already. To see what he could gleam from anybody that he may run into. Though it was kind of hard to stand out amongst most of the characters here.]

[Wretched Egg doesn't like meetings. They're boring. What is there to discuss after all. Who to hit first? Who to kill first? It doesn't take a meeting to discuss it. Or if it does, something's really wrong in that place.

Besides, no matter what they decide here, Wretched Egg will still kill whoever she wants, whenever she wants.

She flops down onto an empty chair and stares into the black mist with a bored expression. She can still hear the distant buzzing that echos in her mind, the one the administrators use to keep her under control. But it's still bearable enough for her to stay awake. This is not a place for Shiro anyway.

She kicks at the back of a nearby chair, and looks around in case she spots anyone she knows.]

As with the last meeting, Veigar kept mostly to himself. Obviously above all others by a vast degree except in height he tended to simply listen to one of the few he considered competent and the one who led this group of villains. Taking his place atop one of the chairs in the darker corners, his eeriely glowing eyes moved this way and that as he took in the scene, noticing new faces and the ones of those who he had worked with in the last mission.

He hoped that there had been some progress since then...

Either way, this is the first meeting he'll likely say anything (he saw the booze and walked right on out the last time). Ira sighs, crossing his arms. Countdown for someone to mistake him for the (now older) real thing in three, two...]
