Characters: Amelia Jones, OPEN
Setting: Morning - Room 1-07/Dormitory Floor 1 | Cafeteria
Format: I'll follow you
Summary: We are definitely not in Kansas anymore
Warnings: Language most likely; nothing else as of yet
(Room 1-07)
[Hello new roommates; you're in for a lot of swearing. First as Amelia wakes up from her sleep paralysis, even more when she reads the intro letters. And then when she discovers what absolutely (not) vital items are in her trunk. Nice to meet you too.]
(Dormitory Floor 1)
[There's a young woman wandering the hallways, looking more than a little lost in an oversized Christmas sweater that is still not quite long enough to get away with being a dress. She's trying to make the leggings-as-pants look work for her with the jumpsuit.
Also, she has wings. Large brown feathery ones. If you know your raptor taxonomy, they most closely resemble those of a bald eagle.]
(Floor 1 - Cafeteria)
[Okay, so she might have woken up in some weirdo tower with crazy people, but when she eventually makes her way to the cafeteria floor, Amelia is finally in her element. Chocolate pancakes, chocolate milk, all sorts of muffins? Yes please.
Forget oatmeal, that's boring.]

Cafeteria
I'm guessing that you are new?
[Meiling is trying to sound nice and not angry as she had been since things were announced. It's working..mostly...but then she shakes her head a bit, although she's going to forget to introduce herself.]
If you haven't...I'd eat the oatmeal. It's better then losing what good things they can offer sometimes.

[Said as flat as could be. Meiling isn't one to sugar coat it anymore, Sorry!]
We don't know..but it keeps you from throwing up everything you eat. Not fun to deal with, yourself or others you care about.
[Remembering trying to get a vampire child to eat the oatmeal. Not fun.]

Amelia. [She looks longingly at the food on her tray, and then back at the oatmeal.] Eurgh. It looks like someone threw that stuff up already.

Oh, you're a different one.

Ah... no, sorry, I'm not your mama.

You seem more than a little lost.

[Obviously a lie, he just thinks it looks cool on him and goes good with the uniform...like most other members of his society. Cyber punk for the win. That should be his new catch phrase now that he thinks about it. It almost gets a chuckle out of him.]

Oh, I bet I've seen worse. Do you know your way around here?

Pardon me, but are you a newcomer here?

[At that, Tohko sighed. Normally, welcoming newcomers wasn't that hard, and while Tohko liked seeing them here, it was never pleasant to inform them about everything in the Tower, since the information wasn't the best.
But it was better than a lie.]
If you want, I would be more than happy to tell you about the Tower. You'll have to steel yourself though. Some of this might come as a bit of a shock.

Nice wings.

Going right for the goods, huh? I'd be careful about that.

Cafeteria! Because they have the same name and I can't pass this up.
So that's when she approaches, managing a fairly friendly looking smile despite the fact the girl is wearing what appears to be medieval armor with no helmet, complete with a strange black axe slung across her back and a sword at her belt. She even waves as she approaches.]
Excuse me, ma'am! I don't think I've seen you around here before.
Amelia buddies!
Woah! Sweet gear!
Not her actual expression, but it's pretty much how she feels.
She's had a rough couple of months, that helped more than she thought it would.]
Oh, thank you! I wish I had my full armor from back home, it's even better... and I like your wings too! I haven't seen many people with them around here, now that I think about it.
