Setting: Floor 101, in the immediate aftermath of event start

Summary: A general reaction log for the immediate aftermath of this for those characters who didn't get trapped in the dorm rooms. The post will start with a prompt for Dani herself, but if anybody wants to make use of this log as well rather than spam the comm, feel free. Also a reminder that powers do not work on floor 101 since a lot of us forgot orz

[In all the chaos, it was easy for Dani to slip downstairs to try to change into ghost form without being really noticed. Except... she can't. The telltale rings never appear. That's right - she realizes - this floor doesn't allow her to use powers. Frustratedly, she hops back to the glowing stair going up. By the time she gets there, though, it's already blocked. She tries, in a last ditch effort, to phase through even without going ghost, but it's still no use. Besides, she feels a strange pressure on her hands as she tries - almost like something's pushing back]

I can't get through!

[At last she gives it up, staring up at the ceiling frustratedly. This was the first time something real had happened since she arrived, something she could actually do something about, and now she was trapped down here?]

[InuYasha was one of the last people that would ever ignore a series of explosions and not see what was going on. As much as he didn't linger around the general public, he did care some for the people who did choose to stay here.]

More problems. He paused momentarily picking up the scents, though the ones on the other side were more faint, likely because of the debris and everything that was blocking them.]

Those idiots!

[The demon grasped onto one of the larger boulders and was about to yank it from the pile.]

You're one to talk! Watch what you're grabbing.

[Look Inuyasha, it's one of your redhead buddies. In a loose sense of 'buddy', that is.]

You'll cause the whatever's up there to collapse on top of us if you're not careful.

[InuYasha still wasn't up to par and probably couldn't lift as much as he should be able to, but even when weakened something this light wasn't beyond him.]

Keh! [He shot a glance at the other, which surprisingly wasn't a glare, but he did scowl often.]

What do we do then?

[He's not about to let them sit in their. Who knows what could happen.]

Well, uh...

[Okay, that got him. Sure, Inuyasha probably had a better idea than he had, but he actually was concerned about debris collapse.]

I don't know, just be careful with the bigger pieces.

[InuYasha let out a frustrated sigh.]

The bigger ones are too heavy for the rest of you.

[A yank--but nothing.] Huh?

[Since apparently powers are disabled, sob. He'll struggle a little more.]

H-hey, are you saying I'm weak? I can move stuff...

[He starts to move towards one of the pieces Inuyasha was trying to move, but has to wait for Inuyasha himself to try. For a minute, anyway, before getting impatient when Inuyasha doesn't manage to do anything either.]

I can [shove] move it just [harder shove, it hasn't gone anywhere]...rgh.

Move what? [His grouch mode surfaces!]

All I see is you strugglin'!

[He can do grouch mode too.]

You're not doing much better than I am! You haven't moved it either.

[He didn't know his powers were disabled on this floor, dude!]

Can it, jerk!

[He's going to legitimately try to budge the thing, but it's heavy. :| This wouldn't be a problem if he had his demon strength okok!]

[You shouldn't be relying that much on your powers anyway you buttface.]
