[OPEN] and then it just kept getting worse
characters: (jade!) Eridan Ampora and anyone willing to be subjected to movies, self-pity and shrugging.
setting: floor 14 - the media room
format: starting with action, but I'll match your preference
summary: Eridan has found heaven, aka, somewhere to watch movies and forget his life sucks quite as much as it does.
warnings: pity-party? Will add more as necessary.
[After making himself scarce for a bit, trying to get a hold of everything going onand finally finish untangling his goddamn reels, Eridan's wandering around the Tower landed him somewhere he almost dare hope wouldn't suck too much. He wasn't sure he wanted to tempt fate and ask how it could suck: there were movies he had never watched there. So after making sure he wasn't going to run into someone he didn't want to, he curled up in a beanbag chair and set up to demolish a pile of movies until he either felt better, the world stopped sucking, or he forgot he felt like shit because the world sucked.
If you enter the media room, you'll find his horns the most recognizable part of his silhouette against the screen where something vaguely violent but definitely adventurous is going on. He's folded his knees to his chest, resting his chin on his knees, and seems completely absorbed by the narrative trying hard to be heard over the explosions and Really Fucking Cool Shit going on in the movie.
Pester?]

[She snorts, turning her attention back to the tv because this fucker just made her miss like five minutes of it.]
Just shut up. No one gives a shit about what you have to say.
no subject
Whatevver.

Seriously, Ampora? Do you really have to have the last word here??
[Implying she doesn't.]

[Eridan smiled at her, over his shoulder. Just a sliver, full of ironies he felt no need to explain.]
But if you want to have the last word, Serket, all you need to do is speak and then leave before I say anything else.

[Her smile in return is filled with passive aggression.]

[An advantage of apologizing as much as he does: when you need to, it's really easy to apologize without meaning it one bit.]
no subject
[She doesn't buy that apology for a minute anyway. She's pretty sure he's doing it to piss her off.]
no subject
Of course.

Shut. Up.

Vriska wins this one, if only because Eridan is kind of spluttering too much to retaliate.]

Vriska: 1, Eridan: 0]

He'll get back at her. Oh, he'll get back at her somehow.]

How much is left of this thing?

Seriously? Are you seriously going to start talking to me again while we're watching this?
I thought I made it pretty clear that your trap should remain shut for the duration!
no subject
Talking to you? Hardly. Can't a guy try and commune with the universe for answers?
[Yeah, he's just basically being obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious.]
no subject
Soooooooo sorry! I wouldn't want to intrude on your conversation with the universe. Please, continue talking like a fucking idiot, it's really fun to watch.
