HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
Characters: Karkat Vantas (AU) and YOU
Setting: Everywhere! Specify plx
Format: First
Summary: Karkat ate chocolate.
Warnings: Coconut chocolate. There will be skeevy flirting in here, and probably some form of mind control or manipulation. Also murder. He will try and kill you when he's done. If you want a different chocolate, go ahead and specify in the subject.
[Karkat hadn't been feeling well all day.
Since he had made the mistake of getting breakfast, he hasn't been able to get the sweet taste of coconut and chocolate out of his mouth. If there was one thing Karkat hated, it was sweet foods. The taste on his tongue was making his skin crawl, making him feel much warmer than he rightfully should have felt.
Or maybe it was something else. Even the Thief of Heart wasn't quite sure what was disturbing him to the point that his fingers felt like the were tingling. The feeling was moving through his limbs as the day went on and he was strangely alert. Nerves. Had to be nerves. Considering who had just arrived in the Tower, it was no wonder really.
Either way, Karkat began to pick at his own lip with his spider-like fangs, tongue sliding across them in thought as he rounded the corner.]

Where are you off to?
W O W
His eyelids lower knowingly -- Terezi might recognize the expression.]
Actuuuually, I was just coming to find you.

For what?

[He slinks up to her casually, hands stuffed in his pockets.]

floor 4 seems like a good place for this awful thing to happen
She felt weird, but she wasn't tired or anything, so she didn't want to go back to her respiteblock. She ended up on the lounge floor with the huge windows, curled up on one of the couches and willing the coconut and the itchy hands to go away, hopefully before she actually had to speak to anyone.]

But that didn't stop him from spotting Kanaya as he was moving back to the dorm floors. So he stops and trots in, hands stuffed in his pockets.]
The hell are you doing down here by yourself? I thought we talked about this.
no subject
Or hadn't until Karkat got there, anyways. She definitely wants company now.
Instead of quailing at his reprimand, she turns to fold her arms on the back of the couch, resting her chin in them and smiling.]
I knew you would find me.
[A complete lie. But it doesn't feel like one, if he's prying; she says it like it's the perfectly natural thing to say in response to that.]
no subject
Yeah well. Don't take chances like that, alright? There's no point in it.
[The cerulean waltzes over to her without any real special gait in his step, looking down at her expectantly.]
no subject
Sorry to worry you. I do hope that there is no punishment involved for my lapse in prudence.
[With her tendency to emphasize all of her words, the lower timbre of her voice as she says "punishment" isn't quite blatant, but it's such a strange choice on inflection for someone like Kanaya that he'll probably notice anyways.]

Whatever the case, the upshot is that she's hopped up on cherry chocolate and looking for company. And then suddenly there's another troll rounding a corner and she can't help but grin]
You. I haven't met you before.
no subject
The cerulean adjusts his tie and offers a smart little shrug.]
You don't know what you've been missin'.
no subject
[Vriska doesn't meet too many other ceruleans. They're the ones usually brought to heel to act as grubsitters to the elite where she defers to no-one. Now she's intrigued - and right now, that's dangerous]
So what, you're going to schoolfeed me?
no subject
[Double pistols and a wink.]

harmless (lol) sweets aren't the only things he's dead set on avoiding, though, slinking through the corridors and floors just so nobody really knows where he is at any time.
which is also why he's beyond irritated when who should round the corner but one of the people he's avoiding! mega sweet, who the fuck has all the luck now???????? without a word he doesn't acknowledge karkat, doesn't look at him but through him, and roughly tries to shove past as angrily as possible because fuck that guy. ]
no subject
Well well. Long time no see, Vantas. How've you been adjusting?
no subject
Fuck off, taintsmear, I'm busy.
no subject
[he'll make him busy shortly. unless karkat has the incentive to try and struggle away from him, the cerulean will turn to push him straight up into a wall, claws still tangled in his shirt.]
But I can fix that.

...hey.
[Oh look. Roommate.]

[Wait, wait - what the heck happened to him? Time to find out! Deneb goes to close the distance between them.] What happened to you? You look terrible - did you have a bad run-in with someone here?
do it
It's probably not a good thing that she's been so quiet since her arrival.
When she runs into Karkat, she greets him with a smile. She does not have her culling fork with her. She's just Feferi, long since scrubbed free of blood, and she's facing the person whom she killed the last time she saw him.]
Karkat.
your wish is my command
Peixes...long time, no see.
[The blank look promptly turns to a predatory smirk. He hadn't yet collected his sickles since he had attacked Terezi, so his only weapons were sitting up on another level elsewhere.]
no subject
[she slips closer, smiling serenely, eyes fixed intently upon him.]
