Setting: Zelda's room and wherever we go from there?
Format: Action.
Summary: Link finds almond chocolates, and wants to share them with his friend. C:
Warnings: Stalking and creepy children, mostly.

Princess Zelda!

[Little Link can be found running down the hallways, holding a box of chocolates over his head like everything else he picks up, a serious look on his face. Must be something important!
He slides to a stop in front of the princess's room, wiggling a little bit in excitement, to show her what he found.]

Princess Zelda, I have something for you! Uh...
My hands are kind of full, though, I can't really open the door.

But I promise it's really good! It might cheer you up a little bit!

[... Um. Okay then. She just watches him for a moment, quiet, before following suit and settling on the bed next to him.]

Are you certain you are feeling all right?

[He watches her the whole way there, giving her a nod.]

Mhm! I feel just fine.

Why? Are you feeling okay, princess?

As well as I can be at the moment.

[Which is a polite way to say she's physically fine but mentally exhausted. She quirks her head, eying him questioningly.]

You seemed so hesitant to enter my room before, is all.

I just wanted to make sure it was okay, before.

But now we're friends, right? Friends don't need to be weird around each other.

[He pauses then, kicking his feet a bit over the edge of the bed with the box still in his lap.]

... Besides, I don't have any of my friends here. So I have to make new ones.
And you're my first, so you're my new best friend, Princess.

[Plus the chocolates are making you make his little heart go doki doki but he doesn't really understand it yet. Give him a few years.]

[... Okay she knows something is off but at the same time that is entirely adorable.]

No, I suppose they do not.

[And for someone who has lived a fairly solitary life... well, it's nice to be called a friend.]

Just like that? What if one of your friends awakens here?

Well... I don't really have a best friend, anyway. Aryll's always been the closest thing to a best friend, but she's my sister.

[He gives her a smile then, as if he doesn't really get why Zelda can't be his best friend, but it doesn't really bug him. She's his new best friend, no matter what.]

Besides... you're a lot prettier than most of my friends, anyway.

Family is important as well--

[ASDFLKD LINK YOU KEEP SAYING THESE THINGS... She is still not sure how to react to them.]

... So you have said. Though that is no reason to give me any greater importance than them, yes?

Well, you're a princess, too! I know another princess, but she can be really mean sometimes, but you're not at all.

[... Scooches closer.

Oh, and he's gonna put the box on the floor.]

You're really kind and strong, Princess Zelda, and I like that.

[... Okay, things are starting to sound strange again. She eyes him when he moves closer, not moving away but at the same time not sure what to make of it.]

... Thank you. You have been very kind to me as well, and for that I am grateful.

[EYING. SO MUCH. But still polite about it, yep.]

It's only polite to be kind back!

[And he doesn't even notice her eying him; instead, he just keeps smiling up at her, seemingly just happy to be there near by her.]

You know... I like you a lot, princess!
From now on, I'm going to be your knight, okay?

I don't really have my sword right now, but that's okay because I have other stuff I can use.

[It also means following you. Forever.]

[Oh Goddesses no she has a fabulous but crazy demon after her--]

No, no, that is quite all right! I would not wish for you to be harmed because of me. I am capable of taking care of myself.

[She would never let herself live it down if he got hurt!]

Don't worry about me, princess; I'm a lot tougher than I look! I killed Ganondorf, remember?

And I have these!

[He pulls one of his sleeves up to show her his Power Bracelet, grinning proudly.]

[... How could she forget. There's a momentary lapse of something like pain that crosses her features, but she shakes the memory away for another time.]

... Bracelets?

[Pretty sure that's not going to help you against Ghirahim, bro.]

[His grin gets wider, and he hops off the bed, just so he can pick it up.]

I also have my Light Arrows - they got rid of a phantom in one shot!

[And putting you back down now, princess.]

So you don't need to worry, promise. It would be even better if I had my Magic Armor still, though.

Goddesses--

[CLUTCHING ONTO THAT BED FOR DEAR LIFE. Even once she's back on solid ground, she's still a bit shocked, to say the least.]

That... That is impressive, but all the same - it is not necessary. Really.

I'm going to do it anyway.

I like being around you, princess. It'd just be good to do more than follow you around, right?

[Yeah, he just admitted that he's going to follow you around. Probably forever.]

[Yeah, yeah, she caught that. None too thrilled with the concept, either.]

... You are going to follow me around?

Mhm. I want to make sure you're always okay, and that you're always happy.

And... and you're really pretty to look at, Princess Zelda.

[~~doki doki~~]

[This is wrong. This is so very, very wrong.

She immediately stands and starts heading towards the door. Those chocolates have to be the cause of this.]

You are not in your right mind, Link. Of that I am certain.

And you will find I am far more than a pretty picture to gawk at.

[Leaving now! Where's the nearest terminal...]

[And he happily follows behind her, ignoring most of what she's said.]

Oh, I know! I can tell, you're very kind and very strong, too!

I didn't mean to insult you, princess - I didn't insult you, did I?

[She sighs. She knows she shouldn't get frustrated, but the tower has been trying her patience quite a lot lately.]

... Not intentionally.

[Damn those chocolates.]

[He gives her a little bow then in apology, before moving to make sure he keeps up with her.]

I'm very sorry, princess. I don't like upsetting people who are important to me.

[ ... ping! An idea!]

Oh, uh, princess - do you think you can wait right here?
I need to go get something, but I want to make sure I'll know where you are when I come back...

[... She is at an impasse. Lie and hurt his feelings, or stay and have a creepy stalker child.

It's a lose-lose situation, really.]

[Link gives her a bright, warm smile and a nod then, before running off as fast as he can to grab what he needs - namely his bow and quiver, shield, boomerang, etc... and his Deluxe Picto Box.]

[He's not in his right mind. It's all a trick of the tower. And as with any other trick, she knows she needs to get away as soon as possible.

... She'll apologize to him later.]

[Link was ecstatic that he got her to agree to stay - he'd have pulled her along with if she hadn't, after all. But a princess as kind as her wouldn't trick him like that, he knows it!

So he gives a happy "'hoy!" as he turns the corner, only for his face to fall at the sight of his princess missing.

... It's okay. He knows how to find people without being seen.
He'll find you, Princess Zelda, just like he found Aryll.]
