Summary: Link's making things for friends!
Warnings: I fail to see any warnings being needed but Ghirahim might tag I'm not sure and he's a warning himself so I'll put down "possible Ghirahim sighting" as the warning.




[If you come into the workshop today, you may notice a familiar green garbed elf carving something out of wood! Upon closer inspection, it kind of looks like a girl. He chips away, completely focused on what he's doing. Why don't you come bother him! He'll make you something if you ask nicely.]

[Link nods, sheathing the sword easily. He understands that as a hero, doing something with dishonor is bad. Really bad. So it's best not to push it.]

Um... what were you carving?

[The smile returns to his face and he picks the figurine back up.]

I was carving out a small statue of my best friend.

[cantstopme]

... She looks cute.

[He stands as much as he can on his tiptoes again, before giving up and just climbing to sit on the table itself.]

You're really good at carving - it's so neat!

You really think so?

[Man, the only other person who said his carvings were cool was Zelda! It's pretty nice to have other people think they're cool c8]

Mhm! I... kind of collect figurines. I've got some of them in my room!

So I think it's really neat that you know how to make them!

[Don't mind if he just... gets close to see the details.]

... Oh - if I brought you a pictograph of something, do you think you could make a figurine of it for me?

[He's already got one or two in his Picto Box of course, but it's always good to ask.]

[He sets the figurine back down and ruffle's Link's hair.]

Of course!

[His eyes light up again, even more so than earlier, and he takes his Picto Box out so he can show the other a picture.]

... Um; is it alright if I ask you for one already?

Because I took a couple pictographs earlier, and I really like how they look, and I think I'd like them a lot as figures.

Alright, but I have a question. What's a "pic-toe-graff"?

[He is also looking at your Picto Box like it's the coolest thing ever.]

... You've never heard of a pictograph?

Here - I'll show you!

[He takes a pictograph of the other, the magic camera spitting it out like a polaroid, and he shows it to the other.]

This is a pictograph! It's like a painting, but a lot better, because it looks exactly like whatever you take the pictograph of!

Whoa!

[His mouth is agape and he looks so enthralled! WHAT IS THAT MAGICAL THING HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK he is just going to take the picture and stare at is up close and in all directions]

That's so amazing!

I know - it's really cool! My Picto Box is really awesome, too; it's the only one that can take color pictographs!

I had to catch a magic firefly for it to work that way, though; but that's okay, as long as they're in color!

[He holds the Picto Box out to the other, smiling brightly.]

Do you want to try?

[Without even replying, he takes it from Link and starts to take pictures of everything. The other Link, the tables, pipes, blocks of wood, the ceiling, the floor, everything.]

[Oh, uh... okay. You do that, other Link. He'll just wait on the table and wave when he gets his picture taken.... multiple times.






Though he is considering taking it back.]

[He's going to take a few of himself too.


aaaaaaaaand now that the floor is completely covered in wasted pictures, he hands it back with a giant grin on his face.]

[He'd face palm if his hands didn't have his Picto Box again.]


Um... we should pick all of those up, you know.

[theherourherocouldbelike]

Oh, right.

[He starts to gather then up in his arms and then it occurs to him that there was no where to put them so he just stands there, arms filled with pictures.]

[cantstopme]

[... Oh, well, this is a bit of a. Mess. Kind of.]

We could always just toss them, you know.

[theherourherocouldbelike]

But wouldn't that be a waste?

[LOOK AT ALL THE LOVELY PICTURES WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO THROW THEM AWAY]

[cantstopme]

How about we... take them to your room? Or put them on a table for now?

[Even though he's not worried about wasting them, the other seems to be, so...]

[theherourherocouldbelike]

[He lights up again.]

Okay!

[And he's off to the hallway to take them to his room!]

[cantstopme]

[oh my god he's going to keep them.


He gets up and follows, rolling his eyes behind Link's back.]

[And when he gets there, he puts the stack of pictures on his bed and then leaves to go get the rest, checking to see if Wind Waker was following still.]

[Yep, he's just toddling behind him the whole time.]

... Are you sure you want to keep all of them?

[theherourherocouldbelike]

[He nods and takes off his hat. When they get into the room, he stuffs it full of pictures and tries to shove it back on his head so he could carry more on hand but that wasn't quite working so he hands it to Wind Waker and picks up the last few pictures.]

[And as he follows, Link just buries his face in the other's hat exasperatedly.

Why did he have to introduce the other to Pictographs.]
