Setting: Around the tower (whoops guess I forgot to say this is backdated to before they know of OoT Link and Zelda's deaths)

Summary: WW Link shows MM Link THE WORLD -- I mean. The cool places in the tower.
Warnings: Cute little kids being cute little kids?

[It starts out at the other Link's room, of course - the Hero of Winds standing on his tip toes to knock on the center of the door for him and waiting.]

Ahoy - Forest! It's me!

Great! Come on - I know some of the niftiest places here!

[And without a word, he's going to grab onto the other's wrist and drag him away happily, knowing exactly where he's going first.]

[Link is pretty sure he knows every nook and cranny of this place by now -- or, at least half of them -- and though he opens his mouth he doesn't protest as the other pulls him along. Suddenly, he finds himself wondering how the Tower looks in Sea's eyes. He'll play along for now, so that he can find out.]

[He leads the other to the elevator first - letting out lots of "come on!" and "it'll be fun, I promise!" and the like, before going up a couple flights. To the aquarium floor.]

This is stop number one on Sea's tower tour! It's my favorite floor, because all of the water and fish make me think of my home.

And it's fun to swim here too, even though it can be kind of dangerous.

[... oh, of course. This floor, where he met Lord Ghirahim. Upon remembering the moment, a thought strikes Link.]

You wanna see something?

[It's impulsive, but something about being around the younger one makes him feel like it's okay. None of the other Links know about his masks yet. He wonders what Sea will think...]

[He blinks a bit, head tilted in curiosity, but nods - of course he does!]

[Link takes a deep breath. He's going to have to try to keep control over this. He's pretty sure that it'd scare other people, because, well -- the transformations, they're... not exactly the most pleasant. But he doesn't want to scare Sea.

Okay... Here goes, Mikau.

He pulls a mask out of his pack -- round, smooth, white, with long pointed ears and the big round blue eyes of a Zora -- and shows it to Sea.] Looks like a normal mask, right? Well... Termina's full of them, but this one's special.

[Another pause -- a hesitation. And then he puts it on.

(The familiar magic ripples through him, and the mask affixes itself to his face, and all at once, emotions strike him -- Mikau's emotions hit him full force, with no pause or lead-in, and the magic slams into him, pulls on his limbs, his bones, his muscles, and his very skin changes, and it hurts but he fights back the scream and the horror, he's done this so many times now he should be used to it, should be able to handle it, and when was the last time he wore one of Their masks just for fun? --

Mikau remembers swimming, simply swimming for the sheer joy of it, showing Link how to arc his body just right so he would bounce on the waves, how to breathe so he can dive deeper than he ever had with his own body and no equipment and Link had never felt so free and right in his life -- )

And then it's over. It's over, and Link can breathe again, even if the air now smells different and feels strange against his skin. He now stands before the littlest Link as a fully grown Zora man.

He smiles Mikau's smile.]

See?

[The little Hero of Winds definitely was not expecting that - the whole transformation was kind of out of place and odd, but Forest was his friend - he trusted him. So despite the fact that all of it made him jump, he watches in curiosity, before eyes widening at the end of it.

He can't help blinking in surprise, and rubs his eyes in disbelief.]

... Forest? You turned into... Um.
A Zora, I think!

I've... I've never seen a Zora before, aside from the ghost of one.

But that's... that's really super!

[He's... even going to reach out and touch the other's hand, as if he can't believe this is real.]

[Link will turn his palm into Sea's touch.]

Really? You haven't? I would think, with the ocean, that there'd be a lot of them.

[Well - that's pretty much permission to him, so he's taking the other's hand, inspecting it (and his arm) while quietly oohing and ahhing to himself.]

Well, um, you see...

I think my friends, the Rito tribe, are their descendants. Like the Korok are the Kokiri's descendants, and the humans are the Hylian's descendants!

But... they don't swim. They fly.

[Interpretation correct. ♥]

Fly? Really?

[Yep, he's just going to continue checking this whole Zora thing out as he talks, then. Fins, legs, everything. This is so cool.]

Mhm.
When they turn a certain age, they climb the top of their volcano and get a scale from the Great Valoo! And his scales make it so the Rito can grow wings.
So they can fly!

[Link'll lean over so he can get a better look at things more easily. Sea just looks so small when he's in this form...]

The Great Valoo?

[He feels a little bad for not offering a whole lot in way of conversation, but Sea seems content in just talktalktalking away, and Link's okay with letting him.]

[Yeah, he really is cool with talking forever, if the other lets him.

He can't help being so interested, too - this is just so neat! The little Link holds onto the other's arm gently, getting a good look at everything he can.]

Mhm - he's the Great Sky Spirit that lives on top of their volcano. He's a dragon! But he's also really nice, even though I can't speak the same language as him.
But my friend Medli can, so it's alright.

... You're really tall like this, Forest! And you look all grown up, too...
It's really neat!

A... dragon? [sorry the only one he's ever met was Volvagia and well.]

That's because this is the body of a grown-up Zora.

Mhm! He's a nice dragon though - I promise.

[He lifts the other's arm up a bit then - as far as he can reach anyway - and compares the size of his hand to his head. Gosh, you are huge, Forest.]

Oh... I guess that makes sense! That means you're really strong though, huh?

I guess so. I fight more with my fins and kicking in this form than anything else.

How much can you lift? I bet you could pick up a lot of heavy stuff, like I can!

[That's still really impressive, bro; he can't fight without his sword and shield.]

Not much more than I normally can. I wear a Goron bracer, so there isn't a big difference.

... not with this mask, anyway.

Well... how much can you lift normally? You must be really strong if it doesn't change much!

... Is your Goron bracer like my Power Bracelets?

[That's said as he lifts a wrist up to show the other one of his bracelets, of course.]

I don't know a number, but I can pull up plants from the ground without trying real hard. The bracer was made to help Hylians harvest bomb flowers.

... That's all?

[He can... pick bomb flowers without bracers or anything...]

Here - is it alright if I show you what my power bracelets can do?

When I was Woods' size, I had gauntlets that let me pick up anything, even giant granite pillars. But when I went back to my time, I was too small to use them, so I put them back where they belonged. I can't carry much any more if I'm not using the Goron mask.

[Link nods. He's curious to see what Sea can do.]

[He smiles then...
And picks Forest up over his head with ease, making sure his balance is steady.]

... You're really light, Forest!

Whoa!

[... okay that is kind of really cool. He smiles.]

To be fair, I am a Zora. Do you think you could pick up a Goron hero?

[Link puts the other down, and gives him a confident grin and a nod.]
