[001] Time to wake Up Princess [Open]

Summary: Kairi wakes up in a shiny new location. Time to explore.

Sleep paralysis was a terrifying thing. Kairi could only be grateful that it didn't last longer than half a minute. Afterwards her eyes flew open, and she found herself laying on a bed in a completely unfamiliar bedroom. She sat up quickly heartbeat picking up as she wondered what in the world had happened to her. She was no stranger to waking up in unfamiliar places, but it didn't mean she liked it. And if this wasn't Traverse Town, she didn't know if any of her friends would know where she was.

Fortunately, she found the letters before she could go into a complete panic. She read each of them through more than once, making sure she understood. Another world had disappeared, and somehow she'd been brought here for safety.... or at least some semblance of safety. For a few moments she sat in silence with the letters resting in her palms, sadly wondering if what had happened to the Destiny Islands had befallen Traverse Town. But it wouldn't do to just sit here, she had to look around.... see if she could find anyone she recognized.

Before she left the room, she peeked inside the chest at the bottom of her bed. She recognized some of the clothing and things inside, but she didn't take more than a minute to take inventory. She could always come back to this.

And so, with the click of her door, Kairi stepped out to take a look around.

"Yes, there are monsters, but they are less dangerous during the day. Keep to the dormitory floors at night and you shouldn't run into any problems with them." Don't worry, Kairi, he's in the same boat; the best this kid can do is cast Stop so he can flailrun for it.

"Ah, all right. Thank you for the advice, Ienzo." She was indeed glad that there was a sort of plan to keep herself safe from dangerous creatures. She wasn't even lucky enough to know a Stop spell.

Now she pondered if she had any more questions. "What do people do here all day? I am guessing you do a lot of reading, hm?" Kairi smiled at that, laughing a bit. What else would he be doing with all those books.

He nodded, managing to almost completely ignore her laughter. Super lineface powers are go. "Several floors seem to be designed around more mundane forms of recreation; a swimming pool, for example."

Awww, don't line face. She was just teasing. She actually quite admires you for getting through so many books! "Now a swimming pool I wouldn't mind. I love being in the water."

Don't wrry, he makes this face even when you're completely serious! Poor little Kairi, she's probably never met a stoic before. Everyone's so happy on that island. Though it's good that he mentioned that, if she likes it so much... "You'll find it on floor seven. There are around twenty-eight floors right now; you're on one of the topmost ones."
