Setting: The Meadow Floor and the Forest Floor.
Format: Action preferably, ahaha.;
Summary: Zelda's already gotten over waking up, and now seems to have settled in... mostly.
Warnings: Time shenanigans.

[It's been a while since she has woken up, here; she'd already taken to exploring the tower, and has settled in. A bit, anyway.
She can be found traversing the forest floor, Master Sword in hand, or on the meadow floor, simply enjoying the serenity of the area.

And possibly playing her ocarina.]

[ shes walking around the meadow carefully, a bit surprised by how peaceful and quiet it is.

the only other noise is the beautiful sound of the ocarina which she's following until she finds the woman behind the sound ]

Ah - thank you... I suppose you can say I've had a long time to practice.

[Only not really; she's joking around.
Zelda gives the woman a smile, and lowers the ocarina.]

My apologies if I disturbed you, of course.

Not at all! It's nice to hear something so beautiful in a place like this.

[Well; yeah, she has to admit, the tune was lovely -]

[ she sounds interested ]

Actually, I just arrived here about a day ago.

Ah, yes; she was the one who taught me how to play the ocarina, in fact. I'd say she is much more talented than I.

... And that's a bit of a coincidence; I have just arrived, myself.
I'm glad I'm not the only one just arriving.

[It'd be hard, being the only one trying to stay on their feet here.]

[The ocarina is lowered quickly, in surprise; and then it hits her that he meant the ocarina. So everything's good, sure.]

... My apologies, sir; I hadn't meant to disturb you, if I had.
I use that tune to speak with a friend, you see.

[He raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. She really thinks he gives a damn?]

There's a nice ledge on floor 22 if you really want to stop bothering me.

[Considering this is his place to explore for now. He doesn't need some pointy haired idiot interrupting his thoughts with a high pitched whistle.]

[This person... really has no manners. She does stand up, but more so she can command a bit more respect. Zelda your are only five and a half feet tall that is not going to garner respect]

[Of course the Princess follows the sound of the Ocarina. It's an obvious (or is it?) tell about where the Links from her era are.

But then she comes across a girl with an all too familiar face, and she stops short. She had heard of alternates, but never herself...]

[That gets her to lower the instrument - and she looks at her counterpart in confusion.
A Gerudo? Here? And dressed so regally... it's certainly odd.]

... Yes?

[Their similarities are definitely weird, too... who is this woman?]

[The confused expression is mirrored, quite literally, as she looks from the girl, to her clothes, to the Ocarina she holds, and back.]

That Ocarina... Forgive me for being forward, but who are you? And where did you get that instrument?

[This girl looks like her, but dresses and plays like Link...]

... My name is Zelda - I am the Hero of Time.

And... this was a gift from a friend, I suppose you could say.

[And her confusion just grows even worse, of course.]

... May I ask why?

[What. She gapes, and she gapes for a good moment, before shaking herself out of it. Focus, Zelda.]

I am Zelda as well, though I am no hero. I am the Princess of Hyrule, and to my knowledge, that instrument is a treasure of the Royal Family.

[ It's on the forest floor that Ganondorf meets the woman, and he stops in his track when he sees her on his way. Again. Last time didn't go so well. He spots the sword she is wielding- Really now? ]

[ Did the princess finally learn how to fight? Did she realize she shouldn't rely on someone else to protect herself? If yes, that was admirable. It didn't change how much he despised her though, and his stare wasn't... friendly. ]

[Well, this man certainly looks familiar - if old.]

Do you... need something, sir?

[Her tone is extremely polite, of course, and she shows absolutely no sign of hostility - even offering the King of Evil a warm smile.]

[ "Do you need something sir"? Really? The Princess of Hyrule speaking such words to him? "Your Triforce" would be a most appropriate answer.

... What the hell. He's seen a couple of weird stuff in the tower, but this tops it all. ]

[ He had seen at least two other Zelda in the tower... Could be a fourth. Even so it still wouldn't make sense. ... Maybe he could use that at his advantage. ]

Is there something wrong?

Ah, a bit... I've just arrived in this place, you see; this place seems to be mostly harmless, but... I've already run into what I thought was a harmless creature, here.

[One of the monster deer, of course.]

But... otherwise, no, there is nothing wrong.

[Just trying to stay safe is all!]

This place is everything but harmless.

[ Confirmation, that's a new Zelda. One that doesn't fear him- She even respects him. Attacking her or creeping her out would be useless. Killing her for the Triforce is not even an option, as she'd revive. So...

Note, his voice is still grumpy and all, but he's making a little effort to not sound so bad. ]

If you're looking for safety, the libraries and the cathedral are the safest place in the tower.

FOREST I GUESS????

[ This floor was dangerous.

... But it was one of the few closest to home.

And for the briefest of moments, Link enjoyed being here, even if it meant not wandering too far or just staying by the stairs.

Of course, you can probably imagine their surprise when coming down from the stairs has them greeted with the back of said Zelda. Now, knowing Zelda, Link at first wonders if it IS Zelda, the hair is close, but it's hard to tell.

And... then the sword. They're armed.

This person is definitely not the Princess. Should they be on guard? After all, at one point, they had had long hair, too. Of nearly identical color. If this was another doppelganger... well. They could draw their weapon quick enough. They'd gotten their mirror shield and the Master Sword back, even if their good Kokiri Tunic was toast, they still had plenty of material left. Enough to make a new blue one. They didn't want to risk the Zora Tunic getting damaged, after all.

There's some silence, though, because Link... isn't quite sure how to approach them. ]

YEEE time for some throw down??

[Zelda's ears were open, in this dangerous forest - it reminds her so much of her own home, but there are monsters lurking in its shadows...

So needless to say, when she hears the other approach, she whips around quickly. Sure, she's not as strong as the other Heroes; but she sure as hell makes up for it with speed.

... But the look of this person - it has her staring. Link...? Could this be the Link that Fi spoke of? It's hard to say.
She doesn't know - and she doesn't trust the other to tell the truth either. So this is a very, very hostile look you are getting from the other Hero, Link.]

[ Whoa--wait, that is DEFINITELY Zelda?

What... is that glare for? Did they do something wrong? ]

[ Yikes. Should they maybe say something? This is a little concerning. At the same time they don't want to attack her or spook her, so going for any sort of defensive stance would be unwise... ]

[Should she trust this person? If it's the Link she knows, though, he'd lie about anything to get to her. She knows he would. But at the same time - what if she skewers an innocent? The thought is a terrible one...

But what if he's not innocent? This is a terrible dilemma.

But oh - she has an idea. Don't mind if she goes for a strike with her blade, Link - she's going to test you.]

Sorry, but they're not about to be a target, test or not. Link is not normally one for attacking people but this is purely self-defense, so as quickly as possible they draw their blade and parry the strike before getting some distance from Zelda by jumping to her side, getting away from the stairs, because there's no room to fight there.

REALLY should have said something--oh well. Drawing the mirror shield, now. Maybe she'll back off and then Link can get a word in edgewise? ]
