Summary: Vivi's arrival is less than composed.

[As far as wakeup calls go, a screaming child is probably not what most expect. However, that is exactly what the second floor is getting this morning.

Upon waking in an unfamiliar place unable to move, wearing a spandex onesie and collar Vivi shrieks and stumbles out of her bed as soon as she can, not pausing to read the note left for her. The last thing she remembered was flying on Pell's back. Had she fallen off and landed somewhere? No, he'd never let her fall!

She tries to be strong but can't stop the tears leaking from her eyes as she runs down the hall in search of anybody who can help her.]

Pell! Papa! Somebody?? Where am I??

[ Dolorosa rose early that day, making her rounds along the halls, considering a walk through the meadow. She doesn't lean against her walking staff nearly as much anymore, but finds it comforting to to keep with her nonetheless.

Her thoughts are quickly pulled away when she sees a crying girl running toward her. She stops and leans down to more properly meet her and holds out a hand to her. She's not sure what has this child so upset, but she knows she doesn't like it. ]

Careful, little one, you wouldn't want to hurt yourself!

[chocotits]

[ she hears the frantic running down the hall and someone looking for their father. this aches her heart, mostly because she knows the girl won't be going back home.


belgium walks out of her room to catch her ]

Excuse me! Are you all right?

[Screams... screams don't belong in the dormitory level. They belong on other floors where they play constantly as some form of psychological torture. So when people scream in the dorms, then it means that... there's a serious problem. Therefore, Vivi, have a child no older than you are looking in your room, probably at the most emotive you'll see him all week.]

[Vivi nearly runs headlong into Dolorosa's skirt but skids to a stop a few inches in front of her, her expression fluctuating between fright of the horns and terror of her situation.]

Who are you?? Where am I? What is this place? Where's my papa?

[toyhopes]

[Vivi crashes into Belgium, trips backward, and lands hard on the ground.]

Where am I? How did I get here??

[toyhopes]

[A child her own age is a surprising comfort to her. She runs to him, tears still dripping down her nose, but trying to look less frightened.]

Where are we? Do you know what this place is?

[It's obvious that she's new here. And so even though she's commencing a total personal space violation, his expression hardens into one of authority he's seen Even use many times on him.] stop. calm down and i'll tell you.

[ Dolorosa bends down further to place her hand on Vivi's shoulder. Her outrageous height couldn't make the situation any better for such a small, scared human, so she ends up on her knees. ]

Calm yourself, child. Let's take this one subject at a time.

You've presently found yourself in the Tower. It can be a disorienting experience on initial consideration, but we can't allow the situation to get the better of us.

[Henry hears cries of a little girl and immediately he makes a beeline for the sound. He's not entirely conscious as to why he does, but perhaps the fact that it sounds like a hold about his daughter's age has something to do with it.

She streaks past him as he rounds the corner of the hall he is in, then calls out to her.]

Oy, little lass, wait!

[With Dolorosa at a more manageable height Vivi does the first logical thing that comes to mind. She buries her tear and snot covered face in Dolorosa's skirt and clings for dear life.]

The Tower? What is it? Am I still in Alabasta?

[Wow - good morning, itty bitty roommate. To say the least, no, she didn't expect to hear a screaming child when she went back to their room for now, and it's definitely disconcerting.
The Hero throws open the door at the sound of her screech, expecting to see someone hurt, and lets out a sigh of relief when there is not a drop of blood.]

Calm down, child; hysterics won't help you find anyone.

[ she kneels down to help the girl up ]

Actually, I don't know where we are... I know we arrive here by waking up.

[Hearing the screams of a child Romeo ran towards them. He saw her and drew closer, she was even younger than he was and she looked really scared and was crying.]

Don't cry, it's alright!

[Rose has a soft spot for children - it's a closely guarded secret, but a fact just the same. and upset kids? so not kosher.

she sees the girl coming towards her and lowers herself into a crouch so that they'll be at eye level. it's easier to have a conversation that way.]

Hey now, no need to scream. Take a deep breath and tell me what's up.

[She accepts help, rubbing at her face to try to hide the tears.]

But why are we here?

[Total personal space violations are kind of her thing. She skids to a halt in front of him.]

You know where we are then?

[She skids to a halt and almost trips as she turns to run back to him.]

Mister! Do you know where I am? Have I been kidnapped again??

[As soon as she can struggle out her sleep paralysis and the bedsheets she's tangled in she runs to her.]

What is this place? Do you know? Why am I here??

yes. you're in a tower that has no name, as far as we are aware of. you will find your possessions in a trunk near the bed you woke up in. [He looks as if he's been reciting this for months. Which he has.]

[toyhopes]

[She runs to him. A boy even close to her age was oddly comforting.]

Do you know where we are?

[toyhopes]

[Oh hi Rose, have a small child nearly crashing into you in your crouching position. She manages to stop barely inches from her.]

What is this place? Have I been kidnapped again??

[hystericull]

[She can run down the hallway all she wants, but she isn't going to find anyone of much assistance when she slams into this troll, nearly knocking him off of his long, polka-dotted legs. You want help? Have a long, squawking honk instead as he flails around and trips over himself, tumbling gracelessly to the floor.]

HOOOOOOOOOONK.

[She turns to the trunk and opens it.]

My clothes are here! And Pell's feathers! Why are Pell's feathers here? [She pulls out a small handful of oddly large white feathers.] The last thing I remember was being on his back but he'd never let me fall. Is he here too? [She runs back to him.] He's a really, really tall man that turns into a giant bird with feathers like this. Have you seen him?

no, i haven't. [He couldn't even follow her explanation.] but people come in at different times, so even if you can't find him now, he might appear later.

[The surprise is at least enough to get her to stop crying as she tumbles back as well.]
