Summary: Vivi's arrival is less than composed.

[As far as wakeup calls go, a screaming child is probably not what most expect. However, that is exactly what the second floor is getting this morning.

Upon waking in an unfamiliar place unable to move, wearing a spandex onesie and collar Vivi shrieks and stumbles out of her bed as soon as she can, not pausing to read the note left for her. The last thing she remembered was flying on Pell's back. Had she fallen off and landed somewhere? No, he'd never let her fall!

She tries to be strong but can't stop the tears leaking from her eyes as she runs down the hall in search of anybody who can help her.]

Pell! Papa! Somebody?? Where am I??

[With Dolorosa at a more manageable height Vivi does the first logical thing that comes to mind. She buries her tear and snot covered face in Dolorosa's skirt and clings for dear life.]

The Tower? What is it? Am I still in Alabasta?

[mamadonna]

I'm... [ Oh goodness, this won't do at all. She sets her staff down to free her hands, then hoists Vivi up, holding her against her chest and rubbing her back softly. It's been so long since she's had to handle someone her age, but some maneuvers you never forget, not when they took so long to learn. ]

There there, child. You're alright, at least to the best degree one could expect, here.

Your Alabasta will have been left behind, it's not a location I'm aware of. [ Probably best not to disclose just how "left behind" it'll have been just yet. ]

[She wraps her small arms around her and buries her face in her shoulder. It had been a long time since she had been held like this but something about it felt comforting and familiar.]

Where are we then? Is my papa here? Is he safe too?

[mamadonna]

I'm not...geographically familiar with the location. Though the innocuous quality of the sunlight assures me that it isn't Alternia.

[ She has no idea how to address the second point. It might be safest to lie, as the lack of truth, or worse, the estimated of truth, would do her mood no service. ] I don't know for certain, given my unfamiliarity with him, but should he still be present in the location you left him prior to your arrival, he...should be fine.

Alternia? Is that the island you're from?

You said he's okay, right? That's good. As long as he's safe. [She visibly relaxes into Dolorosa's arms.]

[mamadonna]

Alternia is far more than a mere island, but yes, it is the location from which I originate.

[ Reassuring her about her father seems to be the most effective path, that would be wise to continue. ] But I've encountered many others from my native land here, it's possible your father may eventually arrive, as well. Why don't you tell me more regarding him?

[toyhopes]

Oh no! I don't want him to be here! [She leans back a little to look at her, as aghast as a small child can look.] He has to stay in Alabasta where it's safe! My papa's the king of Alabasta! He's a kind and wise king and everyone depends on him so he has to stay with the guards, even though sometimes he'll come with Igaram, he's my guardian, to follow me when I go out to the ruins to play. Then Pell and Chaka, my papa's head guards, will scold him.

[Despite the still wet tear stains on her cheeks, she giggles.]

But even if my papa acts like a kid sometimes, he's still a really good king and everyone respects him, even the other kings at the Reverie. When I grow up and have to be queen I want to be just like him!

[mamadonna]

[ A good king? Why does that strike her as so astronomically improbable? ] Then perhaps it would be better for him to remain there, it would not serve his position to abdicate it. But it would at least allow you to see him again, should he ever be brought to this location.

I do kinda want to see him...but he needs to stay safe. How do we get here? Is it bandits?

The exact method is something I'm wholly unaware of, unfortunately. I only know that, when we arrive, it can be from disparate points on the timeline separate from our compatriots, at times sweeps apart. I don't fully understand it, honestly.
