I tink I hit sum bad mojo...

Summary: Xue wakes up and has one hell of a headache, decides she needs to check the place out.

One moment Xue was looking over the horizon from atop one of the many tall mountains in the Storm Peaks, enjoying a good keg of Dragonfire Ale, and then the next she passes out, gets told some crazy story in her dreams... was it a dream? And then she ends up in an odd room with a collar around her neck... Somehow this seems oddly familiar to the times she fought the pirates of the South Seas.

Nonetheless, Xue's never been one to stay still no matter what messed up place she ends up at, she had enough wacky and crazy when dealing with the Old Gods.

Xue finally leans up, rubbing her head and opening her eyes hazily, it all seems like a bad case of taking the wrong drink or smelling some bad incense or whatever. "Oy, remind me ta nawt trust a Vrykul womon when it be comin' ta drinks..."

Of course she wasn't expecting an answer, if her 'dream was true, she was somewhere entirely different...

Guess it was time to put her exploration skills to work then. The troll female looked around and found that the trunk at the foot of her bed held most of her belongings and a pleasant surprise, Sweetfang, her Venomhide Ravasaur hatchling was sleeping soundly, nuzzled against the rest of the things.

"Now 'ow did ya git yerself in there hm?" she said as she picked up the hatchling and nuzzled it against her. After a moment, she placed it down and beckoned it to follow her, she'd be damned if she left him alone while she was out trying to figure things out.

"Well I've died four times..." He would rather not think about it... "I don't think I am a walking corpse, I feel the same as I did before I died..."

He shrugged, "There are a lot of floors. There's a library." His eyes did light up at that, if there was one upside to this whole being kidnapped, or his world having ended, and not knowing what had happened to Safu and Nezumi...

"I knew a few people back 'ome who would kill fer bein' able ta see a library in a place like dis. Me? I'm nawt dat into books unless dey be da adventuring kind. A good ol' story 'bout roughing it out and treashure seekin' is right up mah alley." Xue mused with a smirk.

"And ya be right, ya definitely don't be lookin' like a walkin' corpse but I've been fooled before yanno? In any case, if ya were, yer definitely da cutest walkin' corpse I've seen." she teased with a light laugh.

"I like adventures stories as well, I haven't read that many but there are a few in the library here." He worked there and spent a lot of time reading.

Xue looked up in thought for a moment before speaking.

"Now dat I tink 'bout it. I be noticin' I can undastand joo. But wat 'bout readin'? Can anyone undastand dose books no mattah where dey be from?"

Shion nodded, it was just one of the many things about this place that did not make sense.

"Even though everyone is from different worlds we can understand each other, it's the same with the books we can all understand them though we speak different languages... I don't know why."

Xue nodded, "Well... at least dat be convenient no? It sure be a pain if we were all down 'ere and we couldn't be undahstandin' each oda mon."

She then smiled, "I'll be makin' sure ta check it out den."

"Yes I think that would be difficult," he smiled again. "There are lots of other floors as well, I am sure you will find something you like..." And many many things she didn't.

"I be a womon of 'dventure, I be sure I could get used ta dis place. Specially if der be more residents like joo mon." she replied with a playful wink.

Shion blushed. "A lot of people are nice here... there are a few who are a little dangerous though."

"Ain't der always? Gotta 'ave da trouble makah's ta balance da good folk right?" she smiled and gave a thumbs up.

"Any of 'em I gotta be wary 'bout? Or dey be da typical run'o da mill trouble makah's?"

"Well... there's a troll, well there's a lot of trolls and they are mostly nice but one is very very large, and dangerous..." Shion was trying not to remember how he had been killed by the Grand Highblood. Though there were other people who seemed frightening or dangerous The Grand Highblood was the only one who had actually killed him, and so he would not pass judgement on anyone else.

"A troll? Really? Are dey like me?" she asked curiously.

"I jus' be wonderin' cause I found out der be more different kinds. Was jus' curious if dey be from Azeroth, or if dey be some otha kind 'a troll."

And if they were dangerous, she wondered why... Shion certainly seemed disturbed by the thought.

"Your a troll too?" Shion sounded surprised, "They are different from you, their skin is grey and they have horns which are multicoloured and different colours of blood as well..."

Xue crosses her arms under her chest and looks down in thought. "Dey be soundin' much diffarent den da trolls where I be from. An' we be havin' lots'a different types a' trolls mon. I be curious as to how dis trolls here be like."

"Lots of types?" He was curious about other worlds, especially ones with different species.

"Yup," Xue started with a small grin. "Trolls be one o' da oldest races in Azeroth. Der be trolls errywhere mon. Jungle trolls, dark trolls, shadow trolls, ice trolls, sand trolls, forest trolls, Amani, Gurubashi, well, I prolly be here all da nite if I were ta be goin' inta all da trolls."

Xue gave him a playful, teasing wink. "Den again, da company ain't bad at all. I wouldn't be mindin' a bit more time wit joo."

Shion smiled, he was enjoying speaking to her as well and hearing about her world was fascinating. "It's very interesting, I didn't even know that there were other worlds or that trolls existed at all before I came here."

"Well, neitha did I when I be a lil tyke. Though, I be findin' 'bout oda worlds real fast when da Legion appeared. Den havin' ta go ta Outlands kinda sealed da deal in knowin' dat der was a lot more out der dan anyone ever tink mon." Xue replied with a smile.

This was one of the few times she was really enjoying a simple chat with someone who seemed like one of the races that usually hated her kind.

"What is the legion?" And Outlands? So many things that Shion had never heard of, his world had history but compared to these other worlds it seemed tiny.

Xue relaxed back against the wall and let out a small sigh as she crossed her arms under her breasts. "Da Legion be bad news mon. Formally known as da Burnin' Legion, dey be da collection of races from diffurent worlds dat Sargeras and his corrupted Eredar 'ave turned to der side.... It be a massive force dat destroys, enslaves or corrupts worlds and dey 'ave been doin' it fer years now."

She paused and looked up thoughtfully. "Dey be relentless and nevah endin'... And dey 'ave been knockin' on mah world's door for years now, always bein' pushed back by some miracle mon. A new war every now and den..." She sighed, "But it only be a mattah of time before dey consume mah world too... Dey never end, der numbah's be infinite as far as anyone knows. We jus' be too stubborn ta give up yanno?"

Shion listened, it sounded awful. A group going round invading others, enslaving them. It was worse then anything he had heard of from his own world. "They sound terrible..." How did you even fight something like that? Was there any way or did you just have to wait, knowing that if they came you would lose. It sounded terrifying.

"Don't tink terrible does dem justice, but that be a good'a word as any mon." Xue said with a small smile.

She supposed ending up here kind of liberated her from having to deal with the Legion and the many other world ending threats Azerothians usually had to face... But what of the threats in this world? It was certainly not harmless...

"Sorry I'm not that good with words..." He smiled back, at least she was sort of safe here... Safe from the legion anyways though there was a hundred other threats...

"I hope none of them come here..."

Xue laughed a bit and shook her head. "Don't worry mon, neitha am I."

"Well, as long as it be da normal ones der shouldn't be no problem... Now da officers an' such... dats a different story. Hope dis tower knows who it's pickin' up."

"I hope so too... Though if the worlds really are ending everyone should be saved, as long as they are taught they should not harm others here..."

After all saving some and letting other perish would be very unjust.
