We're going for a Ride
Characters: OU Ven, OU Roxas, Sayaka, a bunch of other KH-ers and I'll leave it OPEN if you really wanna run into him spazzing
Setting: All over the place
Format: Starting action, but I'll match
Summary: Ven just received a pseudo-ransom note from Vanitas, and is now running around the tower trying to find him and figure out what to do.
Warnings: One spikey-haired blonde flipping out.
[It was bad enough knowing Vanitas was in the tower. But when he'd found a lock of black hair and a black leather coat, there was only one person he knew that fit that description, and only one person he knew that could be responsible. And Xion had already been attacked by Vanitas and Vanitas was already pissed off. Ven hardly knew Xion, but honestly? He wouldn't wish Vanitas on anybody. Not only was she Roxas' friend, but it was no doubt his fault that he was involved at all.
So, with the hair and the coat stuffed in his pocket (as...creepy as he found it to be), Ven was running around the tower in a panic, trying to look for Vanitas, trying to find someone he felt safe talking to, and trying his best not to get too angry or to panic too much. Must remain calm.]

cock-- a doodle doo.
I KNOW][Was that supposed to scare him? Because right now, he's laughing. Manic and loud, one could even call it insane.]
Haven't noticed?
[The laughter dies off, Vanitas staring Ventus down; easily within range of striking distance. Ventus could just cut him down, kill him where he stands. He seems placid enough-- would he even have time to draw his blade?]
Oh I've noticed, alright. Finally growing some backbone, are we?
Too bad I'm not the only one noticing. [He'll never be the only one looking our for Ventus'...interests.]
worst sunrise ever
[Backbone yes; he wasn't fearful but-- curious. Confused. His keyblade lowered just a tad as the anger was replaced with inquiry. Not the only one noticing? Did he mean Master Xehanort? That wasn't surprised but...concerning.
However, there were times to wonder these things, and right now wasn't then. He shook his head slightly and held his Keyblade up firmly once more. Back to the subject at hand.]
Where is she?
oh cmon, at least it isn't a lecture on why the sun sets red
Like I said, she wanted some fresh air. So I left her...hanging out on the ramps.
[After all, what could a comatose person do when they're tied to the very edge of the tower. But wait--]
Or maybe she wanted to see some rainbows... my memories failing.
[Memory. Fail. Geddit Ven? Ge-- shut up.]
BECAUSE IT TRAVELS THE FARTHEST!!!
Fresh air?
[He said that again. Was he just screwing with him?] Rainbows...? --Ah!
[It dawned on him then; did he literally leave her on some floor? The 11th Floor-- he hadn't checked there yet.
When the recognition dawned on his face, the Keyblade disappeared in another flash of light and he turned right around, lifting up into the air just a bit in his haste to leave the room and go find Xion.]
[This definitely wasn't over, Vanitas.]
AT SUNSET, EVERYWHERE IS THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT. EVERYWHERE.
[Hope you enjoy running into shut doors, Ventus, since that's exactly what you'll be doing. Sweeping his foot out, Vanitas knocks Ventus off balance, fully intending to send him to the floor.]
[And if he does end up there, he'll be crouching down beside him. Either way, his expression clearly states that Ventus is missing something obvious-- and that Vanitas is less than impressed.]
I think you're forgetting something.
oh baby baby
What?
[He asked with about as much disdain as he could muster, glaring at Vanitas and sitting up on his elbows. Maybe you weren't impressed, but Ven cared even less about your crap.]
Re: oh baby baby
Think, idiot. I mention rainbows and you go running off without considering the facts.
[You know what? Here; he'll just hold his keyblade to your throat and make sure you're paying attention. Work for you?]
Ramps. Rainbows. You pick the wrong place to search for her, and you're not going to like what I do if I get to her first.
In fact... [Slowly, a smile crosses his expression; and standing, he steps back into the dark corridor forming behind him.] I might just get a head start.
[Better hurry, Ventus.]
no subject
He listened, frowned, and his glare was renewed. And his face betrayed just the slightest bit of panic behind his grimace.
Though Vanitas had backed off, Ven let off his Aero spell on the creature of Darkness anyway, hopping up to his feat behind the gust of wind and running past as fast as he could.
He knew this Tower better than Vanitas; he'd been there longer and he ran faster. He would find her and make sure Vanitas didn't hurt her. Or at least, not any more than he already did.]
