Characters: Yuri and anyone who runs into him
Setting: His room, floor 38, then going down - so basically everywhere!
Format: Prose to start - I'll match you.
Summary: Yet another newcomer to the tower...
Warnings: Some mild swearing, and possible fighting.
Well, that was one hell of a letter to wake up to. And also one he didn’t quite believe until he gathered his surroundings and found he had been collared like livestock. Not exactly the best thing to wake up to, but maybe there’d been worse. At least right now he could believe that he’s been forced to participate in someone’s elaborate prank. For now, he’ll just figure out the basics and get answers. It seemed whoever brought him here was nice enough to give him decent clothing and his weapons, so he really couldn’t complain that much. Hey, at least his captors were nice!
Going out to explore, he thought to first go to the floor below, which was nice enough to give him the view that, no, this may not be a prank, as he looked down at the clouds through the glass. Well, he still refuses to believe his world was destroyed. They were fighting to make sure that wasn’t going to happen. Dammit! It was too damn convenient to think that maybe he didn’t remember the events of Tarqaron and facing Duke, but then again, he was pretty sure he’d never forget it. For now, he’ll keep his calm. At least, any one observing him would notice he’s been calm all along. This isn’t the time to panic. This is the time to figure out just what the hell’s going on. And down he went yet another floor to gather more clues…

Told you. [She glances at the stairs.] It must be the Tower again. Kind of makes me want to keep going up and down the stairs to see if I can find floor 23.

You sure that's a good idea? I mean, what if that's the whole point that it wants to make you find this floor, then you're lost forever?
[Teasing as he says this, but also a concern of his. This tower is obviously cursed somehow, and he's not sure what to do other than pick up on minor signs that something is wrong.]

[She glances at him and grins sheepishly.]
I'll have to be more careful. Thanks.

[Doing small favors, he's capable of them. But he does smirk back at her.]
Don't go getting yourself lost.
