[1st Evil Meeting] || [One Reunion to bring them All] || [Open]
Characters : Open to any and every villain in the tower
Setting: Thirteenth Floor (Cathedral)
Format: Prose for the reunion, but Action for the individual threads
Summary: Ganondorf decided to organize a reunion for all good people in the tower to coordinate and cooperate. He’s not the kind to go and recruit people one by one, so he spread the rumor that a reunion was about to happen on the 13th floor, this way all bad guys could get word of it. Here is the reunion. More details here.
Warnings: EVIL. If a good guy interrupts the reunion he’ll be killed or worst.
The Cathedral was different. It had changed; it could be seen and felt. Usually this floor was bright, enlightened even; a quiet and undisturbed haven where souls could find rest. Yet today the ancient church was dark, as if it night had fallen, moonlight filtered through the stained glasses. A black smoke filled the entire room, while an eerie music could faintly be heard throughout the entire floor. Maybe Ganondorf recorded it from the Musical Floor, thinking this would be fitting. Or maybe it was- …Something else? But what? Nobody would ever know.
In the center of the floor were over ten chairs, all of them identical and arranged in circle. It was so that those sitting could speak to each other directly and freely. Some of them might be stained by blood, but otherwise they were all identical. Ganondorf had figured it wouldn’t be a good start if he had given different chairs to everyone.
Speaking of him, Ganondorf was obviously the first one at the meeting- After all, he had organized it. He was sitting, calmly waiting for the others to arrive while reading a most questionable book about evil forces.
Oh, near the entrance newcomers may notice Legolas’ body lying on the ground, a sword impaled through his chest and a pool of blood extending around him. He had not been invited.

So no, there would be no death charge, no beam spam massacre and no deadly spacial anomaly. Instead there would be a man in a brown cape and matching eyeless mask walking into the room like the situation was under his control. It was a familiar song and dance, a show he put on every time he appeared before Ormus as a messenger of Heinlein. He paused only briefly by the body, wishing he could be more surprised than he was. There was just something about sociopaths and being drama queens in his experience, so an example didn't really strike him as odd. Disgusting, yes, but you learned to accept the deaths that came from misplaced efforts.
The idea of sitting in bloodstained chairs didn't really appeal to him, so he opted for a small demonstration of his own that he hoped would make him seem more the sort of person who would be at home here. With a snap of his fingers, an extra chair appeared out of nowhere...at least to those whose minds he could affect. Anyone who was immune to psychic influence would see him walk over and sit in empty air as he glanced around.
He recognized Ganondorf immediately from his first day in the tower. No big surprise, he didn't even need to be connected to the Collective Unconscious to tell that that guy was Bad News. The others, though, were unfamiliar...but that was what he was here to change.

He recognized his roommate, Old Man Xehanort, of course - but the others he wasn't familiar with. Clearly he should have seen about socializing a bit more, it seemed. There would be a chance to do so tonight.
He settled in his chair soon enough, hood still in place, legs crossing as he leaned back to watch things unfold.

He greeted Xehanort and Kuja with a nod- So far they were the only familiar faces he’d seen. Next to come in was the doctor Richtofen. First one to speak, heh. Ganon smirked when he asked who set this all up. No need to hide it.
“I am the one who gathered you all here. I’ll explain why soon.”
He paused and waited as three more came in. The cloaked man, he spoke with him a couple days earlier, but Reno and Kiryu, he was fairly sure he never met them before. But, that was all. Many people came to the reunion, as he had expected and hoped for. He didn’t know if anyone else was going to come- He knew for a fact Ghirahim and Majora would, but otherwise they would have to start soon.
“More may come, but we will start without them if they do not arrive shortly.”
One doesn’t simply make the King of Evil wait.

"Did someone say something about a party?"
/fashionably... late?
He didn't like rushing perfection, after all. Especially not his own. (Much of that time was spent primping; what did you expect?)
Ghirahim's appearance is very anticlimactic after Majora's: one moment one of the remaining chairs is empty, the next, there is a flash of diamonds and the Demon Lord appears, wearing his cape and jumpsuit and gloves, as well as all his jewelry. Honestly, the flamboyant demon looks more like a performer than anything else, but sense would tell one not to underestimate.
Legs gently crossed as if he had been here the entire time, he smiles.
"Isn't this quaint?" His eyes skate to Legolas (oh, how he looked like that Sky Child), and he just places his hand on his cheek before chuckling quietly. "Oh, dear. That really is going to be a mess to clean up."
You can practically hear the heart in that sentence.A Demon Lord is never late. He arrives precisely when he means to.
"Everyone is here... Very well. I am Ganondorf Dragmire. As I have said earlier, I am the one who gathered you here."
He knew better than to call himself Great King of Evil. By the look of thing, there were serious competitors in this room.
"I have organized this reunion because we are those who see beyond words such as good and evil. We are those who have power and we know blindly following moral and law is only a limitation to what is ours. To progress. We are those meant to lead the mindless fools who do not know what to do with their lives and keep wasting potential- In the name of silly notions and feelings or because they are too afraid of the darkness awaiting beyond."
He pauses. Ins't he pompous? He's spent a week preparing the opening speech in such a way everyone should be satisfied and agree cooperating. Well, he hopes.
"Nevertheless, those fools outnumber us here, by far. They are mediocre at best, they are limited, yet they are numerous. Like cockroaches they multiply and invade every corner of this tower. And while their flaws are too numerous to be enumerated, we share one with them: they act in small groups and are divided."
Which now brings to the reason behind the reunion.
"I know for a fact we all have plans, purposes. Some of us probably want to leave the tower and fulfill their destiny back in their homeworld. I doubt anyone here cares to see the other's plan succeed."
And he concludes:
"Yet our plans are doomed to fail if we continue the way things have been so far. We will be crushed and they will win unless we work to inverse the tendency now."

Ridley had not taken up a chair - his build and size did not cooperate well with those blasted human-crafted things. He chose to sit outside the circle, crouched like a gargoyle, and silent until Ganondorf finished.
"So you propose an alliance," Ridley starts, waving a hand out to acknowledge the idea. "What's to keep it from falling apart, hmm? The last thing I was involved like this, I was double-crossed - I'm not very keen on that happening again!" As he goes on, his gestures get harsh, until his fist clenches.
no subject
Even the ridiculous over-dramatics.
"So, we start an alliance... why? Have those fools done anything so far aside from frantically running around the Tower? Are you planning to start a war?" He said in a mild voice, looking cool as ice, and even slightly bored. "Not that I wouldn't mind a little excitement around here. It just seems like bad tactics starting something and let them know something's going on. The hero types would be breathing down our necks."
no subject
No matter, Kuja would go along with this regardless.
"I don't think a war would be wise at this juncture. Maybe if this was a nation instead of a single tower of people... As it is, we lack the population to support such a thing, so instead we should act more like a guild. That is, we stick together with the common goal and do what we can to protect our members from these so-called heroes."

Already, people were pointing out flaws in this idea. Good. Allen didn't want it to get off the ground. Or if it did, he wanted to be sure there was at least some amount of dissent.
"But what does happen when pepole have conflicting goals? I doubt anyone here is exactly the type to want to compromise if that happens."
no subject
"If I may speak for just a moment..." He begins, sitting up a bit straighter.
"Everyone has conflicting goals and differing reasons for their actions," he states simply, then glances at Ridley, raising a brow in a sort of curious look, before going on. "I see no reason for us to lose civility here, however."
And now he just sort of waves a hand airily, a little cluster of diamond-like magic floating around his hand, as though he's playing with the wind, stirring it up into a little floating ball of particles in the air.
"Betrayal is a matter of what is best for the one doing it, generally. ... If we were in a situation where lands and war was at stake, then I am sure that would be a larger concern. As the dear man over here has stated," and he motions to Kuja, "at this point, a simple amount of structure in place could not hurt. We have quite a few obstacles that will, I am sure, be attempting to cause problems. That aside, there is far less we could accomplish alone. This is a large Tower, you know."
Finally, he simply blows at the magic in his hand, and it sort of scatters like golden, diamond-like dust all around them. Though, of course, it won't be making anyone sneeze, even as it sort of reforms into diamonds floating about the room.
"... I'm an honest man. I will be simple and plain right now: I have no reason for senseless false statements or pointless bickering and backstabbing. I am here on my Master's behalf, and it is his wishes that I support. I have no problem playing well with others, but if the rest of you do, I should ask you to work this out now rather than ADD to our many mounting difficulties in this place along with those who take stock in useless things. And that aside, if anyone should die, they would simply come back. I see no problems here if we cannot agree to, at the very least, a small truce."

She wondered how the remaining guests would react and how things would play out. They all seemed top-notch, or at least acted like they were. If they were to unite, there'd be at least one powerful group within the tower. Maybe they'd even be able to force results or answers from whoever, or whatever brought them all here.
no subject
"I say we do it. I'll even try to keep my temper reigned in and not target any of you in my curses. We're too divided. Should any of us need aid from a group of those goody two-shoes, we could very well be in trouble. Even I'll admit that," she says, rolling her eyes at the situation. Ugh, stupid tower.
no subject
He sat forward and gestured first to Ghirahim, then to Majora. "I agree with the sparkly man and the little girl."
Despite the fact that he was attempting to enter into an alliance with said people, Richtofen apparently had no qualms with using less-than-friendly names for the others. In his defense, what else was he supposed to call them? He'd never met them before, so he didn't know their names.
He also didn't bother to apologize or ask what their names were; he just kept talking.
"It sounds like a good deal. I help you, you help me, he helps her, she helps him. We make life hell for certain people..." He grimaced, quite clearly thinking of someone in particular. "...and have as much fun as we can here. I don't see the bad side."
He shrugged and sat back. He had no problem working with someone, as long as they helped him out. There was always a chance he'd end up backstabbing them, of course, but they didn't need to know that.

"You people are all missing a pretty big point." His voice was slightly louder now, but only enough to carry; he wanted to be sure they were all listening. "I'm hearing a lot about people, conflicts that existed on other worlds, and plans when you get home. Who gives a rat's ass about that, or the 'goody two-shoes'" he had no idea what that actually meant, "or the heroic types. You're talking so much about stupid shit in and out of the Tower, that you're forgetting the damned Tower itself."
Shifting in his seat, getting a little more comfortable and crossing one leg lazily over the other, he continued, "Forget wars, and the other crap. There's people who don't even have their enemies here." Like him, for example. "Forget the plans you got back home. It's not important."
Lifting a hand, he gestured in the general direction of the staircase. "There's one big goal we all have in common. Getting the hell out of this place and back home. I'm pretty sure all of us can agree on that."
To be honest, this place was bad enough without feuds and power struggles in the Tower. If something happened, then it happened. They didn't need to go provoking anyone and distracting from more important things. Besides, if it was just that kind of bullshit the alliance was going to be for, there was no reason for him to stay around. "Now, unless I'm wrong, we're all pretty damn powerful in our own right. If we got that much power, why waste it on something that isn't gonna get us out of here? If other shit happens, then we'll deal with it, but it shouldn't be the priority."
no subject
"You'd be surprised how helpful the 'goody two-shoes' can be when you have a mutual problem, but that's a side point. The redhead's right, unless anyone here's a masochist-" an idea he wasn't ruling out, since he did personally know one back home, but he hoped none of the people here were that crazy. "-none of us want to be here."
He looked around, tilting his head enough to get everyone in view without making it too obvious who exactly he was looking at. They all seemed fairly egotistical. He could use that.
"Not to mention, I'm used to taking orders, but some of you don't really look like the types who exactly like to be under any kind of control but your own."
no subject
"There is no leader." he said an an answer to Allen "I do not plan on giving you orders, and nobody here do. There's a reason for that. It's not a matter of taking or giving orders, it's a matter of cooperating to reach our individual purposes, and ultimately reach the common purpose of leaving this tower."
Back home yeah, Ganondorf would totally have started giving orders around. But here he knew better than to be a total idiot.
"You're free to cooperate with them if so you wish, to put up with their concerns and their fears. I have been trying myself, and no matter what they do, it is restricting. I am not saying this is impossible and if a chance arise to escape thanks to their help, it should be taken. But they waste time, potential and in the end, opportunities."
And now onto Reno.
"And you may be right, today isn't the day for war, but if we wait until the last day to cooperate, we'll be doomed. By the time we'll need to be united, we won't have the luxury to organize such a reunion. I have not gathered you here to start a war tomorrow. I did it so we may be ready the day we will have to face our enemies. Obviously leaving the tower is our main objective, but what good is it if we cannot harness the potential offered to us by this place? If we cannot use it to put into motion our plans and make sure we're successful?"
He looks in the general direction of Ghirahim, Majora and Richtofen now.
"They summarized my thoughts and I agree with what they said. Betrayal is not in anyone's interest while we are prisoner of this tower." he said as an answer to Ridley before staring at Kuja "Your idea of a guild is good. An alliance, some form of organization for us to cooperate and be ready whenever one of us has to face the others. And of course, to find a way to leave this tower and fulfill our plans."
That's as much diplomacy as he can do. This whole reunion confirms his beliefs that using your first to solve problems is the best method ever.

While he did prefer to have lackeys of his own rather than rely on allies, they could be useful.
Ganondorf's words, as a re-stating of what others said were somewhat reassuring. Granted, he wasn't going to be very quick to trust in depth, but just a little for now couldn't hurt too much.
"Very well, then. In the interest of eventually quashing those fools out there, I will support this alliance." At heart, he is still a conqueror, after all.
no subject
As for the arrangement, Kuja had his reservations about some of the nicer points, but the general idea he can get behind. If Kuja's true nature is ever discovered, these people are more likely to accept him afterward. The saying about two heads held true with a larger number as well.
"I too support this. The main question for me is, do we keep this alliance discreet or not? Those who cling to strict morals are more likely to see our mutual support as something to destroy."
no subject
Though he glances to his Master with a sort of curiousity, as if puzzling Kuja's question himself. While he personally was the type for more flamboyant things and open announcement of his goals, he knew this was not the case for many.
He had no problem playing along, of course. Whatever his Master wished, he would do. He was a dedicated person, after all.

Richtofen was quick to answer; almost flippant about it, really. He thought it would be common sense not to go around flaunting their collective dastardliness, but apparently it was up for debate. As such, he was fully prepared to toss in his two cents.
"The last thing we need is for everyone to know about this." He rolled his eyes, arms crossed over his chest. "You know how hero-types are. Always charging in, trying to save the day. So pigheaded, ugh. We'll never get anything done unless we are properly secretive."
He was tempted to add "trust me, I know," but he bit his tongue.
no subject
"You people are starting to make this sound like one of those Meetings of Evil Bastards in children's story books. Let's be serious." It was meant as a joke, though he didn't quite realize just how right he might have been. To him this meeting was standard fare in Shinra, only with a little more melodramatics and freely admitting people didn't care for heroes.
He did not trust the others as far as he could throw them, but they could be useful. One thing was sure, he was going to have to ramp up and say something to reassure them that he belonged here. "As far as I'm concerned, I don't give a rat's ass for how moral or not something is. As for the alliance, sure, I'm in. I'll help you with whatever shit you need help with. Just remember I'm the type that's more interested in results, like the 'I will crush an entire fucking city to kill off a small terrorist group' kind of results. Backstabbing each other isn't going to get us results and it's only going to net more enemies, which we don't need." It was funny, him saying that. He had no qualms about bailing on them if things got tricky. But it was succinct and to the point, without letting them on that he had actually crushed a city before. Nothing they could use against him there.
"I'm also the kind to aim for a smarter strategy, if you care to hear it."
Oh hey guys I hope you don't mind Link oUo

A screeching cry comes from the reptilian creature, with an accusatory point. "INTERLOPER!" He gets airborne with a spring into the air and the flapping of leathery wings, then...well, he waits. Just how will they choose to deal with this fool?
no subject
Though Richtofen had no real allegiance to the others in the room, he felt it'd help prove he was willing to aid them if he acted sufficiently aghast at the intrusion. In one swift motion, he got to his feet, drew his pistol and cocked it, pointing it in the boy's direction.
"Oh, look! We have one of them coming to play already!" he said, his lips twisting into a cruel grin. He didn't fire the gun, though; he'd wait to see what the others did (and, more importantly, what kind of powers this kid had) before he did anything.
