ITP: Nightwatch

Summary: Minami is organizing a Night Watch for the tower.

Minami was nervous after making that post. A Night Watch? Really? True she'd led SEES, but Mitsuru had helped her with that and Minami had no idea what, exactly, what she was doing. She knew it was best to try to do this by ear. After all, patrolling the tower would be no different than patrolling Tartarus, right? The only difference was how many groups would be going through and she'd only be organizing the groups and where they go.

So she'd made signs, put them up by the elevators, and waited for dinnertime that evening to see who would be interested.

[Minako enters the cafeteria, shaking out her damp hair from the shower she just got out of. Being Minami's "cousin", she wants to be there relatively early to show her support for the other girl.]

Hi Minami!

[Minami smiles at her "cousin". At least someone's showing up. After Chidori's comments on the network post she's been nervous about it.]

Hey. Glad you showed up.

Of course I would! Wouldn't miss it for anything. [She stretches before sitting down.] Oh hey, while we're waiting, can I ask you something? Would you be up to playing volleyball with me?

Uh, sure! Why not? It just needs to be in the morning or in the evenings since a friend is teaching me how to play harp in the afternoons.

[Fist pump!] Yes! Thanks so much. If you can manage to wake up early, we can do that. After all, when your Night Watch gets going, you'll need the evenings.

I can always try to work in naps somewhere. One good thing about this place is that no school means I can work my schedule however I want.

Suzaku entered the cafeteria and stood to the side silently looking around. He had agreed to help and so had came to the meeting. He didn't see anyone he knew though so he remained out of the way waiting for it to start.

Minami was going around with a pen and paper and taking down names and room numbers. She eventually got to Suzaku.

"Hey! Do you mind putting your name and room on this list so I know where to find you after? I'm Minami, by the way." Even though she introduced herself in the cafeteria.

"Nice to meet you Minami," He nodded at her, "Kururugi Suzaku, room 2-06." She seemed young to be organising such a group, but he had no doubt that she knew what she was doing.

Which would've cheered her up if she knew he didn't doubt her.

"Any special skills or abilities you're okay with me knowing about? It can range from self defense skills to special powers to.... pretty much anything!"

[swordofzero]

"I'm trained in traditional self defense, Kendo mainly. I was also a soldier before I came here." The last year before he had came here he had mainly been fighting in knightmare frames but before that he had been a foot soldier.

"I don't have magic or any powers." Apart from the Geass cast on him but it wasn't like that was something he could control, or that could help anyone apart from him.

And guess who had shown up. The guy who said he didn't really want to, but probably did and probably confused and GDIT. Shinjiro took a seat, after grabbing himself one of those bars they had in the cafeteria. All of this month.

She's not surprised at all. Her Shinjiro was the same way.

She sits down next to him to chat a bit before starting.

"Hey! Glad you could make it."

[busstopsign]

"...yeah" he answered, idly moving his thumbs back and forth. The annoying thing about not being sick anymore? More energy that gave him the jitters when he was sitting down.

"You started getting a plan on how we're all gonna do this?"

"Probably divide everyone into groups and assign floors. It should be easier than Tartarus since we know how many floors are in this place and we aren't really 'exploring' so much as 'patrolling'."

[busstopsign]

He nodded, somehow snapping him right back into a a serious mode. Maybe it was the whole mentioning of Tartarus.

"Make sure those of us that are strong physically patrol the floors where none of our powers work."

[Oh hey Minami, it's someone you've never met. Waiting patiently, hunched over with his hands behind his back like he's got all the time in the world.]

[There is practically a sign over him that says in neon letters EVIL with an arrow pointing at him, but Minami is going to ignore that. She can't judge books by their cover and she approaches him with her clipboard and notes about the people who showed up.]

Hi! I'm Minami! Do you mind if I get your name and room number so I know where to find you later on?"

Ah, yes, of course. Xehanort, third floor second room.

And are there any special powers or abilities or skills you have you don't mind telling me about, Mr. Xehanort? It can range from something like cooking to magic powers so anything you can think of you don't mind sharing. There's a couple people looking for teachers and I said I'd look around.

As a Master, I'm well-versed in combat training and arcane knowledge.

And there was Michel, looking as fabulous as ever.

"Hey babe, I've brought my presence to all of you, as promised!" Really, his narcissism could sometimes just couldn't be turned off.

It makes her laugh. There are seriously people like this who exist?

"Okay, cool. Can I get your room number in case I need to find you?" Somehow she manages not to laugh in front of him over his attitude.

Yes and he is amazing!

"Of course, anything for a beautiful little chica like you!" He gave her his room number (and was somehow very nice about it and didn't crack a joke about her visiting it. Really!), tapping the tables in a steady rhythm.

(REEEEEALLY? Are we sure this is Eikichi here and not some evil clone copy of him?) Minami laughed at being called a beautiful chica. It wasn't that Minami was self conscious about her looks or datability, but there was just something so funny about guys hitting on her she couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh, is that the real reason you're here?" she teased, her hand going over her mouth to stifle her giggles.
