[Gathering the supplies had taken most of the morning. The buckets, the water and the soap had been easy enough to get, but the braces needed to be made and it had taken her a good hour or two to make several dozen frames out of wire bent and looped in different shapes, which then had taken another hour or so to wrap tightly in yarn of various colors. But now all that effort was paying off.

Should you stumble upon floor thirty-first, you will find Kafuka standing in it, several buckets full of soapy water around her, blowing soap bubbles and generally having a good time.

[Enthusiasm was contagious! So under her instructions, Ven helped himself to one of the makeshift frames, dipped it in the water and-- definitely blew too hard, because instead of bubbles, the film just popped and splashed all over the place.
