001 ‡ Beware of those who's eyes shine blue
Characters: Selene and you!
Setting: Room 1-03, then various locations in the Tower. Your choice.
Format: Action, but I will follow whatever it is you wish to do.
Summary: Selene is new to the Tower, so come and say hello!
Warnings: Language, possible gore, definitely a chance of blood. Anything else will be edited in.
[Room 1-03]
[Waking up in a strange room was not something most people were used to. In fact, most people would have likely freaked out because of this. She, on the other hand, kept her cool, moving once the paralysis had worn off.]
[She sat up, slowly looking over the room. Three other beds, aside from her own, all with trunks at the ends. She questioned the meaning of this arrangement, but decided best to get out of there.]
[Quickly, she popped open the trunk at the foot of her bed, and began to undress. She was pleased to see her own wardrobe in front of her. She rather not walk around in a ridiculous white suit.]
[Once dressed, jacket and all, she took hold of one of the blood sacks and quickly drank from it. Best have her strength in a place so unfamiliar to her.]
[Anywhere and Everywhere]
[Once in the hallways and on the floors, she keeps to the shadows as best she can, avoiding unnecessary confrontation. Some floors, however, it cannot be helped, which only cause to fuel her frustration.]

Well, I doubt this place is anywhere in the normal mortal realm, it's not any Hell I'm familiar with, someone wants us to believe our home worlds are destroyed, and has poor taste in accessories.
no subject
So nothing, really. Nothing more than what I've gathered at the very least.
[She looked around the room itself, which didn't seem like a room at all.]
Do you at the very least have an idea about what's happening with these floors? From the ones I've actually explored, they're all different, and not in any sort of friendly way.
[Considering her swift movements, she did in deed manage to check out a decent amount of floors. Though even she would be the first to admit that some she'd be perfectly alright with never revisiting again.]
no subject
[And while he wouldn't directly admit to not knowing anything, he wasn't going to deny that one either.]
[There was, however, a lazy half-shrug about the floors.] It would be part of why I suspect we're not in the mortal realm; the rules of reality are different. [He did give a good look around the empty cobblestone.] Sadly it's not any realm I'm familiar with. [It was too low-key so far for most of the Hells, and too off-kilter in more threatening ways for a Heaven or the realm of Asura.]
no subject
So this is something you're used to then. Different realms and the like?
no subject
Although it may serve as more a warning for now; different realms can vary widely in what is "safe" and what's a "hazard" - the floors are enough to know that the rules are different, but without an idea where this is or what purpose it is, there could be all sorts of unpleasant surprises.
[Which he now has direct experience with, even if it was only a few minutes ago...]

So I've come to encounter on certain floors. Only annoyance is that, as of now at least, I have not been able to see my enemy.
Regrettably, by the looks of it, it doesn't seem as though they will be showing their faces anytime soon. [She scowled.]

I am curious why they've left such freedom of movement when they've felt the need to collar us.
[The collar spoke to him of experiments - and experiments didn't normally involve free reign for the subjects unless the area they were restricted to was, itself, part of the experiment...]
no subject
Probably because they know we can't get out.
While I was walking along the halls, I saw no signs of security cameras or anything to suggest that they're actively watching is.
If these collars are the only things keeping us from walking out, then whoever brought us here must feel pretty certain that we're not going to succeed in getting them off, or keep them off for that matter.
no subject
[He does shift weight to lean on the trident, although it seems to be a casual gesture.] I wouldn't assume the collars are the only restriction until there's a visible, survivable exit. [The cobblestone floor seemed to open on air ... but depending on how high up they were, it might be useless.] And with the fluid moving in the collar, I haven't felt like testing removing it just yet... [His free hand did go to run a finger along the tubing self-consciously.] At least not without a clue what failsafes there might be.
no subject
Whoever brought us here would likely have a fail-safe for the fluid. Why bring us here if they knew we'd likely try to pull these things off? I doubt they want us dying so soon after our arrival.
That's assuming the fluid is used to killed the wearer. It can do something else entirely.
Sadly, even I must agree that I myself don't want to test that theory.
[ She wasn't as scientist after all. Why meddle with something that is in some way science related, when you have no business exploring such things. She's a hunter. She'll hunt whoever put the blasted collars on them in the first place. ]

[And sadly, when that clicked as a "sure identification of what he was dealing with" it'd be a good "useful" flag; as proud as he was of his power, it wasn't oriented as directly - and having someone that could be aimed at targets who was directly oriented was always a benefit.]
I would guess we're both acting on having arrived only recently? [The entire conversation was going in slightly "blind leading the blind" circles.]
no subject
You would guess correctly.
How long have you been here for?
no subject
[
Yes. Yes he is always this ... special.]
