[The people in charge of this floor had pretty much shoved the oatmeal at him when he first arrived and... well, it was bland and not particularly exciting, but certainly not the worst he'd ever tasted. But a dwarf is not meant to live off oats and water! A dwarf needs meat! And ale!

And Gimli did not find either in this odd-looking kitchen.

If you wander into the cafeteria, you will find a slightly bemused dwarf in full battle/travel gear, axes and all, staring somewhat unconvinced at the bunch of nutrition bars he was given.]

Tis not Lembas, surely?

[ Oh, is it the back of a grumpy dwarf Gandalf spots in the Cafeteria? Yep. Well that's good. Someone else who came from Middle-Earth, not to mention one from their fellowship. It was very good even.

So Gandalf walked up to him silently. And heard his comment about Lembas. ]

This is not Lembas bread indeed, Master Dwarf.

[ A pause. ]

But I am afraid this is the only food you will be provided with in the tower.

[Gimli startles before he turns and smiles at the sight of Gandalf. Never been happier to see you.]

[The smile wanes a little.]

[Legolas had come to find something to eat, after a couple days of avoiding the towers' food. He wanted to try to save what Lembas he had. Ironic that he thought that and heard a very familiar voice mention the elven bread.]

Certainly not, old friend.

[It takes him a moment, and he does smile at Legolas, genuinely glad to see the elf up and about. And then he scoffs, looking down at the pile of nutrition bars a tad ruefully.]

I thought not.

[But of course it doesn't last long, and soon he's standing.]

So who does a dwarf have to fight here, to get decent food and some answers?

[Legolas can't help a grin crossing his face either.]

Answers, I can give you. I'll be little help regarding food though. I do have Lembas, in my room, if you prefer it to the food offered here.

I expect these to be the same as anyone else who's found themselves in this Tower. When, how, why, and most importantly, who and should I introduce them to my axe sooner or later?

[One thing is clear about this tower: there is not much to do during the day. True, he and Lucien have made plans to go out together one of these nights, but killing time can be a chore, even for one like him.

He can choke down this porridge until he gets real nourishment. As he looks for a place to sit, he's unable to help but glance at the very short man who looks like someone out of the fighter's guild.]

So, even here people do not bother removing their armor to eat.

I'll take my armor off when I'm convinced I won't dearly miss it as soon as I do.

[As terrible-tasting as these bar are, they are food. He's munching on one when he notices Gimily passing by and has a double take, nearly choking himself with it before gulping down water from the bottle. The axes, the armor, the outfit and the beard color...it all matches...He elbows Jun on the side and whispers.]

H-hey. Jun! Jun! Look at him! It's a dwarf in full battle armor. Doesn't he remind you of...

[...NAH. IT CAN'T BE....can it?]

[Jun was likewise eating one of his own, and-- well Eikichi was complaining about the bars so much that he didn't bat an eyelash when his friend started choking. It was when he got an elbow in his side that he looked at Eikichi and followed his gaze and...

No way. There was a look of astonishment and disbelief on his face as he whispered back to Eikichi.]

"Lembas"... You... You don't think it could really-- [No. Freakin'. Way.]

The dwarf in full battle armor is no elf, but surely he's not deaf either.

[Eikichi why did you have to stop talking for once why. It basically left Jun to look back and forth between his friend and the dwarf very awkwardly and nervously.]

[ ... Link is kind of relieved they're not the only one eating fully decked out in weapons. (Sword? Check. Shield? Check. Quiver and bow? Check. Various other stuff? Also check!)

Though really heavy armor was never their thing (had to be light on their feet, you know?), so the Hero of Time is far more prone to tunics.

Speaking of which, their curiosity has gotten the better of them and you might have a teenage person who quite very much resembles an elf peeking around at you from a table, Gimli.

... "Lembas"...? Hmm. Wonder what that could be. ]
