There is no such thing as lost [Open]
Characters: Lucifer and you/open to all
Setting: All around the Tower, with a few specific stops in a couple rooms
Format: However you want to roll. Mainly doing prose in brackets.
Summary: Lucifer decides to discover the brand new cage he's been gifted with being stuck in.
Warnings: I don't know when to shut up sometimes sorry.
[Finding himself in a new world was far from being a new experience for Lucifer. It was often that he found his battle with YHVH spanning different worlds as the forces of Law and Chaos clashed against one another. But being pulled to one against his will was far more rare, let alone to a world he had never heard of or seen before. That there should be one he had no knowledge of was both intriguing and an annoyance that he should have been dragged to it.
Still, since all attempts to leave this dimension since he had gotten here had proven fruitless he supposed it would be for the best to explore the his new habitat. And he can be found doing just that in a couple different ways.]
[Around the Tower, Random]
[If you're going around the tower today, you'll find a small blonde-haired boy, probably no older than ten, scrutinizing and examining the tower as closely as possible. He runs his hands across the walls, looking for imperfections or any possible latches or secrets in it. His hands run across the floors looking for the same, and sometimes the ceilings.
Of course, he can't reach the ceilings naturally. That's why he's summoned a large red demon whose shoulders he's standing on as he examines the ceiling. He could have changed to one of his adult or demonic forms himself, he supposed. But he found this more entertaining.
Alternatively, you may be walking through the tower when you hear a voice behind you proclaim]
You. I wish to speak with you.
[Which is funny. Because you could have sworn there was no little boy there before.]
[Room Twenty Eight]
[Lucifer was always made to be a killer and a being capable of mass destruction, but alongside that had been his role as the angel who led the angelic choir in singing their praises to God.
That role and part of him was long gone and past. But Lucifer still at times had a penchant for music. And even he couldn't keep himself from taking some of an interest in it when he entered this room.
Anyone else who enters the room will hear someone playing the grand organ. Lucifer's rather quite good at it, and practiced, despite how young he looks.]
[Floor Thirteen]
[Oh. How lovely.
Lucifer didn't so much hate Cathedrals as he merely found them in poor taste. But then again he always found anything relating to his Father as such. He looks bored and somewhat annoyed as he listens to the indistinct mumbling that fills the floor. He can only assume that it would be praise to YHVH even if he can't hear exactly what's being said, and he searches through the pews to see if he can find any evidence of it being a dedication to God, though after a while he stops.
He turns his head up to the sky, shaking it a bit.]
I suppose this must be a great help to you, isn't it?

[One of them was clearly more bothered than the other, but Lucy was an old hand at this stuff.]
I am yet new, you know that. [Even while admitting he was a newbie, he did manage a fond smile.] I am glad to see you, Lucifer, even if I am sure we both would have preferred a different meeting.
[He paused, bringing a finger delicately to his chin.] I feel we may have a matter to discuss however, time permitting.

He continues to play on the organ, though he at least looks over his shoulder in acknowledgement of the person he's speaking with.]
I do.
[And even though its slight, he smiles himself. In a way, he's glad at the reminders of how old he is. Of how long he's been a part of everything. That his name yet has meaning.]
A different meaning would have, perhaps, been better. I could think of more suitable places. But we make do with what we are given.
And what is that?
no subject
We are not alone, as you no doubt know. Nyarlathotep and Philemon also have been drawn here.
[There. That was all he had to mention, right?]
I have been weakened here, but I hope you have not. They have been calmed some by one another's presence, but their games will drag others in eventually. I wouldn't want you to lose any of your own investments to their playing.
[Really, he'd like to ask the older god for help, but he wasn't that stupid. Lucifer did as he pleased, and always would- and he did nothing for no reason.]

Philemon was not a problem, as far as he was concerned. Lucifer was no great friend to him, but neither did he wish him any ill will. Nyarlathotep, on the other hand, could easily be a problem. For a being that aligned itself with Chaos, Lucifer found its reasoning and intentions, its purpose, appalling. Lucifer was not hesitant to use destruction when the time called for it. Indeed, violence and death were wonderful tools with appropriate times to use them as far as he was concerned. But there was a difference between using them as needed and attempting to spiral all creation into pointless self-destruction like the Crawling Chaos wanted.
That to him seemed far too much like the world of stillness those aligned with Law desired.]
I do not feel much weaker, although I do not doubt there are still some restraints upon me that even I cannot cast off here.
As for their games...that is theirs to do if they desire. Should they anger me I will let it be known but an investment lost to their games would have been a weak investment in whole.
[It would be annoying if there were others here of worth that he could find and to have them somehow broken due to Philemon and Nyarlathotep's actions. But at the same time if they were to be broken by something like Nyarlathotep then they would be too much of a liability to begin with.
And the only real investment he has present, has any concern for, is Naoki. And there is no doubt in his mind that the Demi Fiend is capable of handling himself against something like Nyarlathotep.
Lucifer has faith the fiend he had created would prevail, even though he has no intent of saying that out loud.]

[The thought of Lucifer being unable to cast off some burden seemed...strange, but he pushed the thought away. It wasn't so much a reverence for the other, as much as a fact- he was strong. One of the strongest, and his respect had been earned. Even if their opinions differed in several ways, that meant little.]
They may purposefully bait you. Your will is stronger- I am aware. But that does not make the nagging pull of Chaos less...annoying.
[Could he use that word there? Eh, forget it.]
In such small quarters, I would normally be more proactive about my actions- but I do not want to deal with their nonsense. Their simple-minded goals are instinctive, and without a true desire or drive.
[Harsh, but he wasn't really going to accept a natural force as 'natural' when he could see the flaws in Polaris. All bets were off the table.]
I will keep my distance from anything which you attempt here- but should you require it, I will not be opposed to more than that.
[Tl;dr let's have tea parties and talk about our shining ones, lucy!!!1!!!1]

He's angry and annoyed. And a bit curious as well.]
The Crawling Chaos is free to attempt to bait me. To goad me. As long as he is also aware of the punishment he'll receive for it.
[Lucifer quirks his head a little bit at that statement. All beings have a true desire and drive even if they should seem idiotic. That was something Lucifer had learned throughout his long life. Perhaps he thought YHVH and the forces of Law fools, and he knew their inherent inferiority to his own Alignment. But he would be equally foolish to say they had no desire or drive.]
Are you quite sure? Even the simplest of creatures have "desires" and a will to seek them out. What is meaningless to you may not be meaningless to them.
[And it is the fact that it isn't meaningless to them that gives them power. All things, no matter how peculiar they may seem, have a Reason.
Lucifer pauses at that statement before he resumes his playing on the organ.]
I am not one to seek company out. If you should seek my company though I suppose I would not deny it.
