Summary: Party with the Inazuma cast

{Kidou decided when he woke up today that he had given Sakuma long enough to calm down over the events that had happened upon Genda arriving. He had a plan, a plan to get Sakuma to forgive Genda or at least talk to him again.

After getting changed, he notices Sakuma still asleep and walks over, crouching down so he can be face-to-face with him and gently shaking his shoulder]

Sakuma, wake up.

Mmhm!

[ Haruna catches the ball with ease and readies to run. It was brief, but if she saw it right, it should go like this! She begins to run and when she has enough momentum, she initiates the technique.

It's definitely a weaker version of Kidou's but those flying balls are definitely Illusion Ball. ]

[pengeen]

Ah! You did it! [He hurries over to her with a big proud grin on his face.]

Try it again while the feeling of it is still fresh.

[notsoquiet]

Whoa I did?

[ She ... wasn't expecting that. But with new-found encouragement, she starts running again.

Again the technique is performed ... ! The balls seem to move more quickly. But man, she's pooped out! ]

[pengeen]

[He nods a few times] Alright, we can stop for now. You look pretty worn out, do you want me to get you a drink?

[notsoquiet]

Y-Yeah. I feel so worn out ...

[ She plops down on the grass and tries to calm her breathing. ]

Whoa! [ pant ] Is it always like this?

[pengeen]

Pretty much. [He smiles.] The more you practice, the more you get used to it, though. And the less tired you'll be after using hissatsu techniques.

[notsoquiet]

I guess I need to train a lot more then.

[ She laughs as she lays down the grass. There is even a faint breeze - although it's not natural. ]

[pengeen]

I'll go get you some water, alright? Stay here until I get back. [He waves a bit before going to the cafeteria to get a couple of glasses of water, returning with them after about 15 or so minutes.]

Here. [He sits next to her on the grass and hands a glass out to her.]

[notsoquiet]

[ She takes the water gratefully and gulp it down. ]

Phew, that really hit the spot. Thanks onii-chan.

[ She grins. ]

[And he's going to hand the other glass to her as well.] It's no problem. You need to stay hydrated, after all.

[notsoquiet]

I would know that much from watching you all play.

[ And down goes another glass. After a breather ... ] So what now?

[pengeen]

[He thinks for a moment.] Well, Sakuma and Genda are probably still busy so it would be a good idea to wait before we go looking for them. [He places a hand to his chin and hums thoughtfully for a second] I don't have any other hissatsu I can really teach you; They're all combination after all. And most of them require three people.

[notsoquiet]

That's true ...

[ Well when you have nothing to do. Do nothing. She pats the spot next to her. ] Then why don't we take it easy for a little bit? I'm sure you can use some rest too.

[pengeen]

[He smiles a bit and sits next to her then.] Yeah, I could. [Though now that they were sitting side by side, Kidou couldn't think of anything to talk about. He... didn't really know that much about Haruna's interests, so he didn't know what would be a good topic for a conversation...

It was apparent that he did seem a bit awkward sitting there in silence next to her.]

[ Haruna doesn't mind though. She understand that they don't have different lives now. Even if it's painful to admit.

She'll just lead the conversation! ]

Say, is there anything you want to eat Onii-chan?

[pengeen]

Hmm? [He thinks for a moment.] I am a bit hungry, but I'm fine with eating anything.

[notsoquiet]

But don't you have a favorite food?

[ Silly. She's trying to learn more about you. And she can be persistent if needed. ]

[pengeen]

Favorite food? [Now he's really thinking, placing a hand against his chin.]

Mm, I don't really have a specific food I like the most but I am really fond of Pierogi.

[notsoquiet]

[ Something she can actually make you would be nice ... ;w; But okay she'll take note of that. ]

I've never heard of it before ... what kind of dish is that?

[pengeen]

Pierogi... it's Polish. They're like Gyoza, but they're filled with potatoes, cheese, onion, and sometimes meat. The dough is a bit thicker then Gyoza, and they're boiled then baked or fried. The ingredients and the way they're cooked changes depending on which country they're made in, and they're most popular in European countries.

...they're really good.

[notsoquiet]

[ ... All right. She'll try to make this dumpling thing. Challenge accepted. ]

That does sound good ... And so eccentric too.

My favorite's kind of boring - it's a parfait. I like especially like the ones that taste like melons.

[pengeen]

Parfaits aren't boring, and they can be made really delicious too. [A pause and he smiles a little sheepishly] Though I'm not saying that out of my own experience with them, I'm not one for sweets.

[notsoquiet]

Come to think of it - I don't remember you eating a lot of sweets when we were little.

[ She always thought it was kind of cool. It seemed less immature, almost grown-up. ]

[pengeen]

I've never particularly liked the taste of sweets. [He shrugs]

...you really love sweets though, don't you?

[notsoquiet]

Sure do! I worry sometimes that I will get fat though ... So I try not to eat too much. [ Not that it'll be a problem here. Haha. ]
