{Kidou decided when he woke up today that he had given Sakuma long enough to calm down over the events that had happened upon Genda arriving. He had a plan, a plan to get Sakuma to forgive Genda or at least talk to him again.

After getting changed, he notices Sakuma still asleep and walks over, crouching down so he can be face-to-face with him and gently shaking his shoulder]

Sakuma, wake up.

[Sakuma's already awake and has been for while. He's planning on waiting for Kidou to leave before he gets up but that plan gets ruined when the other boy comes over to tell him to wake.

Only he doesn't really want to because he feels awkward for having acted badly all week so instead he continues to keep pretending to be asleep and rolls over so he's facing the other way.]

{He frowns slightly and stands up, shaking his shoulder again]

Come on, I need to talk to you.

[kickspenguins]

[Finally, Sakuma speaks but he's still hiding under his covers.]

What.

[pengeen]

[He crosses his arms] We're going to the Aquarium floor today, there's something there I want to show you.

[kickspenguins]

[There's a very annoyed groan but he throws off his covers anyways. It's easy to ignore Kidou when he's not talking to him but now that he is, Sakuma can't just say no.]

Fine.

[pengeen]

[He offers a small smile] I hope you don't mind stopping to invite Haruna and Genda.

[kickspenguins]

Of course I mind.

[He grumps but he sits up anyway and reaches for his eyepatch lying on the night table to put it on before getting out of bed.]

It's been days, Sakuma. And it wasn't even his fault.

[kickspenguins]

[Sakuma sighs, defeated.]

I know it's not. Let me get ready then.

SIBLING PARTY IN DA HOUSE

{After Sakuma and Genda had left, Kidou sighs and turns his attention to his younger sister.]

I hope they'll be okay...

[notsoquiet]

[ She crosses her arms before nodding. ]

It is bit worrisome. Especially Genda-san. But let's trust them for now, huh?

[pengeen]

[He also crosses his arms] Mm, this is something that they should probably solve by themselves, anyway.

[notsoquiet]

[ This brings up something she has been curious for a while now ... ]

Why were they fighting in the first place? I thought they were best friends.

[pengeen]

[Oh wow how embarrassing. He's hesitant to tell her, but he decides that she shouldn't be out of the loop.]

It's my fault that they're fighting. When Genda had arrived, he and I had a contest and we both made bets on who would win. Needless to say, I won and Genda had to do something involving Sakuma that was very embarrassing for both of them.

[He points to his not-as-black-as-it-used-to-be-black eye.] I got this from Genda afterward.

[notsoquiet]

[ ... Boys. Maybe onii-chan deserved this one punch.

But Haruna tenderly touches the edge of the fading bruise with her fingertip. Good thing it's healing pretty quickly. ]

He sure didn't pull anything back did he?

[pengeen]

[He winces just a bit. Though it looks almost healed, it still hurts when touched (hence why he's wearing his goggles around his neck)]

No, he didn't.

[notsoquiet]

[ She giggles softly. ]

There, there. It looks like it'll be gone by day after tomorrow. So hang in there onii-chan.

[whatpenguin]

[Genda stays with Sakuma then, since he seems so keen on eying the penguins, and he crouches down a bit to get a good look at them himself.]

... I can't believe you passed up the chance of taking care of a penguin, Sakuma. They're your favorite animal.

[kickspenguins]

[He continues staring at the penguins play and it takes awhile before Sakuma actually replies.]

It would have been cruel. Besides, it's pretty easy to come see them anytime.

[whatpenguin]

I guess so.
They aren't like animals that people usually take care of, anyway.

[He looks up at Sakuma then, head tilted just a bit.]

... Are you still angry with me, Sakuma?

[kickspenguins]

No.

[He sighs. Might as well get this over with.]

Sorry.

[whatpenguin]

... I don't see why you're sorry, when I'm the one who messed up.

But it's okay. Apology accepted.

[Yep, that simply. He stands then, brushing off his knees a bit, and gives him a warm smile.]

Are we friends again, then?
It feels... weird, not hanging out with you.

[kickspenguins]

I'm apologizing because I over-reacted and because I punched your face. [He rolls his eye because Genda's being Genda.] Also for ignoring you. But yes. If you want to be friends still, that is.

[whatpenguin]

...? Ah, I'm used to your anger, Sakuma. You overreact over everything, this is nothing new.
A little worse than usual, but not new.

And besides, bruises heal. I've gotten worse from a soccer ball.

[Genda holds his hand out for Sakuma then, his grin ever staying on his face.]

Of course I want to be your friend still.
You're my best friend, Sakuma, no matter what happens.

[kickspenguins]

[Finally Sakuma turns away from the penguins to look at Genda and takes his offered hand.]

Okay. Let's never talk about this again though.
