Oh man, a spider? I don't know if I can handle all this.

[Apparently he can, because that tarantula is going down the gullet with only a momentary pause to consider how to eat it.]

Yeah, a while! A couple of months. Enough how to do some things, really. ...And enough to not be surprised when I'm forced to eat bugs and spiders. [He laughs.]

Right, I guess after a while here, you get used to stuff like this. [He sobers up a bit.] Which is too bad--not that the bugs are that bad, but the other stuff--there's gotta be something we can do about it.
