Summary: Ryoji has just woken up into a tower that's not working and is wandering in confusion.

Room 4-18 and Dormitory Area

[ Once Ryoji has woken up, read his letters and gotten his bearings, he'll be wandering aimlessly through the dorms, looking for other people. He seems a little troubled, but overall he appears more curious than worried. Still riding on the high of events just prior to his showing up here, Ryoji just can't believe the world that was just saved before his eyes could be destroyed just like that - especially without him knowing!

Since the dorms seem to be one of the few places with lights on at present, there are bound to be people here right? No matter who you are or how scary you seem, Ryoji doesn't seem to be afraid to come up to you to say hello! ]


Floor 1

[ Of course, Ryoji doesn't stay in the living quarters all day. There's a whole tower to explore! And this one doesn't have nearly as many floors (it seems) as the one he just came from. The first place he starts poking around after the dorms is the cafeteria. Even if it's dark, he seems to be able to find his way pretty well, though the oatmeal seems to have him confused.

Instead of eating the oatmeal, Ryoji spends a while playing with it. This batch seems pretty sticky, so he's trying to make a snowoatmealman out of it... Maybe you should advise him of its actual purpose... ]

Floors 4, 6, 10, 13 or 25

[ Each of these floors contains either a view of the outside of the tower or else some sort of scenery Ryoji has never actually seen in person before, so he lingers in these places, exploring a little. The cathedral puzzles him (where is that murmuring coming from, anyway?), but the aquarium and the meadow in particular fascinate him - and he stares in open-mouthed, grinning glee at all the pretty colorful fishies and oh wow, so many flowers! He's never seen so may flowers, not even in a flower shop!

... it's probably really obvious he's new, isn't it. Well, hopefully he doesn't get eaten by a fish on his first day or two. ]

[ Is there somewhere else you want to corner Ryoji? The library maybe, or as you're chasing down or running from a monster? Feel free to bring that up, instead. ]

[He grins a little, though Thanatos is on guard. There's something about this other him... he doesn't want to assume, but there's something very off.]

You're telling me. Now I have to share my dating targets! Though if it's with myself, I guess it's not so bad.

You're new, right? I think I would have remembered seeing myself around.

[ He laughs. ] Yeah! I showed up here not too long ago, and I've just been wandering around since.

Is it always so dark here? I know low lighting helps set the mood, but this seems a little excessive.

No, it's not. Something's wrong - it's been dark for almost two weeks here. It's really dangerous, since monsters come out in the dark.

... That reminds me. Here.

[He holds out another flashlight to the other him.]

Oh I see... Thank you. [ He takes the flashlight but doesn't turn it on yet. Other Ryoji's flashlight provides enough light for now. ]

I've seen and heard things while I've been wandering, but I haven't really encountered any yet, besides the one you just took out. What are they like?

And -- was that ... a persona you summoned?

A lot of them are pretty dangerous. They have a lot of different abilities, but they're all terrible. I've tried to stay away from them as much as I can, but it's too dangerous to let them wander around the dormitory area.

[He does nod at the question, though.]

I'm still pretty new at summoning him, so it's good to train with him whenever I can.

[ Ryoji considers the monsters, glancing around them into the shadows cast by the flashlight before looking back. ]

Well, I'll do my best to be careful. [ But although he says this, he doesn't seem particularly concerned. ]

I've heard exercise is the best way to get stronger, so I'm sure that will help a lot!

Good. You come back from death here, but it's still really painful.

[His smile falters for a moment, but then it's back.]

Both Minatos and Minako and Minami have a lot more experience than I do, but I'm working hard to try to at least catch up a little.

[ But before Ryoji has a chance to really ask more about the death thing, he hears the names, and that makes him pause, perking up a little, though then he just looks confused. ]

Huh? Both... Minatos? I thought there was only one. But then again, apparently there are two of us, so I guess anything's possible!But who are Minako and Minami? I'm guessing they're cute by name alone, [ And the fact that they are most likely girls, and all girls are cute in some way or another. It's just fact. ] but... I'm afraid I don't know anyone by those names.

You don't know... Minako?

[Wait. Oh. Is he the only one who's from that possibility?]

Minato, Minako and I are all triplets. Minami is a younger version of Minako. None of the Minatos or Minakos here are my siblings, though.

Oh wow - that's a lot of Arisatos! But this is all a little confusing... [ He's quite for several seconds as he thinks this over. ]

What... happened? For you, I mean. You have that persona...

For... me? Well... Death was sealed inside me for ten years. I guess after Death broke free from me to fight the others as Nyx Avatar, it woke up my Persona.

[death_awaits_you]

... I see. [ He pauses for a moment, ducking his chin into his scarf. ] You should know, then, that I am Death, and I am Nyx's Avatar. Where I am from, I was sealed inside Minato, so I must have been sealed inside you, as well.

That Persona ... it's very similar to my true form as Death.

[He's quiet for a few long moments. So that's what's different about him...]

[He should hate him. He should want to kill him for what he made him do, for all that pain.]

[But he doesn't. He's okay with it. He's grateful, actually, after he thinks about it for a few moments more - he probably would have been dead for years if Death hadn't given him more time.]

I see. ... Thank you.

[ Ryoji blinks in surprise, a little confused. ]

Why are you thanking me?

[ As far as he's concerned, if things went more or less the same for this Ryoji as they did in the world with just Minato, Ryoji ought to be thanking his other more human self! ]

Because I think I was supposed to die in that accident. I'm pretty sure Death was the only thing keeping me from dying. So I got more time to spend with Minato and Minako.
