Hacking #01: Intro

Setting: Starting in room 1-15 and then in different areas in the tower.
Format: Brackets, but I can match you!
Summary: One technopath arrives in the tower and is very unhappy about the message, before she sets off exploring.
Warnings: Possibly high levels of derp.

[Room 1-15]
[... This had to be a joke. There was no way her home was destroyed. It had to be a lie, it had to be. She frowns at the letter she recieved, proceeding to tear it up when she could move again.]

Ugh... What the hell is all this...? [She reaches up to tug at the collar around her neck and frowns at her current outfit. Once she finds the trunk containing her things, she goes to get changed into her usual clothes.]

[Hallways]
[Having now gotten changed and wearing a trenchcoat way too big for her, April proceeds to set off exploring, though she is a bit unamused at the lights flickering.]

Hey, can't you stay on? [She glances up at them, her eyes taking on a odd pale green glow, while the lights flicker again, as if in reply. The lights seem to try to stay on for a few moments, before they pitifully flicker out. The red-head sighs quietly, the glow from her eyes fading.]

... Well, at least you tried...

[Floor Twenty-Five: Meadow]
[Having stumbled across the meadow floor, April just stares at it in shock. Having come from a wasteland, seeing this much greenery, or any at all, is something completely new to her.]

N-no way... [She hesitantly crouches down to gently touch one of the flowers, almost in disbelief.] T-they're real...

[Floor Three: Library]
[With a small ball of electricity acting as a light, April browses the aisles of the library, looking rather amazed at seeing so many books. She occasionally pulls out a random one to skim through it, before continuing having a look.]

Nothing on history then? Kinda disappointing...

These? [ he grips a little at his' again too, and there's some faint sense of discomfort about it too for some reason in the way he does it. ]

.. Don't have a clue. I do know it's super freaky how there's a different color in all of them! Not to mention I'm the only one out of all my classmates whose color is different, what were they thinking?

[A frown and she raises an eyebrow.] Huh, I wonder what the colors mean, then...

... Wait, classmates? So, there are other people from your home here?

[tsunball]

Same. I might ask some people about it once the network works again.. [ at least, he's hoping that the power will return sooner or later. It's already a bit better than before, right?

Although, that last question.. ]

.. Yeah. There's actually quite a few of us here. Although if it were up to me, I sure wouldn't have picked all of them to be here with me, that retarded bear could've stayed home.

Uh, it's.. a long story. Just know that if you see a talking bear walking around here, you should stay far away from it, okay? That thing's bad news!

[Blink blink blink. But April gives him a nod.]

Ah, I see... Then, I'll make sure to keep my distance from it.

[ for a moment he's surprised she really isn't literally thanking him, but then again, Leon, what did you expect. ]

He's probably more dangerous than any of the actual monsters around here, either way.

.. By the way, I'm Leon. Leon Kuwata! Good to meet you.

I see... Thanks, I'll make sure to keep away from him. [He did say she didn't need to thank him for the warning before, but he didn't say there was no need to thank him now. And learning that said bear might be more dangerous than the monsters is pretty valuable info.]

Ah, nice to meet you too, Leon. I'm April!

[ Leon is just a loser who thrives off recognition, really, so at the thanks he almost seems to beam a little again. ]

April, huh? That's a pretty cool name! [ Mostly because it sounds different than the kind of names he usually hears, since he's from Japan at all.. and his own name is different from that too, so he likes it. ] Don't worry, this place is pretty freaky, but as long as you'll listen to my advice you'll be alright for sure. I'm an expert! [ no, he's not.. ]

Oh, thank you! [She smiles and laughs faintly.] An expert, huh? [Yeah, she can kinda tell that he isn't.]

[ It's not difficult to notice when he practically radiates 'idiot' all over. ]

Yeah, of course I am! I look like the kind of guy who knows what's going on around him, right? [ stroking his own ego.. but at least he seems cheerful about it. ]

After staying in this place for a while you start to reaise how it works.. unfortunately, since plainly said this place just sucks.
