2nd Goal
Characters: Genda Koujirou and YOU!
Setting: Cafeteria
Format: Action please!;
Summary: FOOD.
FOOD.
Warnings: I'll add them in if there are any!
[After finding out the tower's been restocked, Genda's well past raided the fridge by now - he's cooked everything he knows how, prepared tons of homestyle meals, and now?
He's got it all spread out on a table and he is stuffing his face.
Genda's also made sure to avoid anything he deems inedible, too. Which means no poisonous foods, and definitely no vegetables, yuck.
You're free to the food too, of course! As it is, he's probably going to offer anyway.
... Not that he wouldn't be able to eat it all himself.]

and then kidou puked all his feelings onto the floor whoops
That's not the same! That's not even close! Even though we left you behind, we were still friends; We could still visit you and play soccer with you!
You have no idea how.... how terrifying it was to be taken away from Haruna! I didn't even get a choice! I had to leave my little sister all alone with others who bullied her and made her feel absolutely terrible; and I couldn't even call her or send her letters or visit her! I wasn't allowed to see my own family! [There may or may not be tears glazing over his eyes behind his goggles as he brings this up. Admitting this was painful.]
I was the only person who could take care of Haruna, and I left her behind. You have no idea how terrible that feels. [He's starting to calm down now, though it's more turned into depression then anything.] I...
I don't know how she could forgive me after that...!

[Genda's anger simmers right down, now - and he lets out a sigh. ... Kidou's still one of his best friends, so seeing him like this...]
... I guess you're right - I don't understand how you felt. But I think I may know how Haruna had.
Though, that isn't the point.
[There, he pauses, just for a second - so he can sweep his friend into a hug. He may be hurting right now - honestly, he's hurting a lot! - but to him, the feelings of his friends always come first. If they have legitimacy, anyway.]
... She forgave you because it... wasn't your fault, Kidou.
And because she loves you. It's... a given, for family to always love each other, isn't it?
... I mean, I guess I don't understand that either, since I've been an only child all my life.
But that's how it works, isn't it?

It's horribly awkward for him to be standing at one side and feeling like he shouldn't even be there in the first place. Originally, he had stayed because he was scared it would escalate to a brawl, but... now there's no reason for him to stay.
Especially since Genda and Kidou are making up in a hug right now. He backs away a little more, lingering for the sole reason of making sure that the issue is really resolved before leaving. ]

[He rests his forehead against Genda's chest] I can never forgive myself for that.... so why can she? Why can she when she is the one who suffered?
no subject
She didn't seem too unhappy with her family, did she?
Haruna's grown up to be a happy girl - I don't think she suffered as much as you like to believe.
[... And he's grabbing the hem of Aphrodi's shirt before he can really go anywhere.]
You don't have to leave, Aphrodi - you heard the conversation, so you're a part of it now.
no subject
He shakes his head. ]
No, it's okay. I should have left earlier before I intruded.
no subject
[He then moves himself out of Genda's embrace and offers Aphrodi a small smile.] No, I was the one who intruded, really.
I'm sorry you had to witness that in the first place.
no subject
Maybe we should all do something new, to forget about all this. It kind of sounds like we could use a break.
And when I say "all", I mean you too, Aphrodi!
no subject
He ends up stunned at the invitation and only manages a splutter and a shake of his head because it catches him off guard. ]
no subject
I'm pretty drained after all of that, so I'm going to lay down for a little while. [And after a second of hesitation.]
If that's alright with you.
no subject
Yes, it's fine. I can think of something for me and Aphrodi to do, anyway.
Right, Aphrodi?
[Sorry bro - you're one of Genda's pals, now! YOU CANNOT ESCAPE.
RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.]
no subject
[ He nods, but the bemused look doesn't go away. ]
I- I hope you rest well, then.
no subject
no subject
... Forgive me for that display; I don't normally get riled up that badly.
I guess we... dredged up feelings neither of us meant to.
We should put the penguins, back, though...
[... Even though the birds are nowhere to be found??]
... Or, I guess they beat us to the punch.
no subject
[ He smiles! It's all resolved now, so it's okay.
Aphrodi does look around to see where the penguins went, though. He put them down there... oh well. ]
Doesn't matter. Saves us a trip back.
no subject
[... And he just realized it, too. Losing your parents...
Genda shakes his head, and gives Aphrodi a smile.]
Is there anything you want to do, Aphrodi? I've been on a few of the floors by now - I could probably show you all the best places if you'd like.
no subject
[ He knows that it would hurt, losing parents, at the very least. Although he wouldn't miss his particularly, but they're still parents, right? ]
I think now, we should go wash up. [ He squeezes a little water from his sleeve with a frown. ]
Especially you.
no subject
[But mooooom -]
no subject
[ NO BUTS. ]
no subject
[Sure they're both boys and all, but still...]
1/2
Of cours--
[ Wait. ]
2/2 \o/
NOT LIKE THAT Good lord now Aphrodi is blushing as well. He shakes his head furiously. ]
No! There a- are stalls!
no subject
[And his face is going redder than a tomato, whoops -]
no subject
[ TOMATO COMPETITION. YOU'ER ON.
Granted the colour Aphrodi is going isn't bright, but it's still incredibly red. ]
no subject
[Genda looks away then, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.]
... Let's just... forget this conversation and go wash up.
