002 * No more family
Characters: Vicente and YOU.
Setting: The Library, and Cafeteria
Format: Action, but can switch.
Summary: Vicente finds himself having to coast by now that his remaining Family is gone.
Warnings: None for now. May change.
[Lucien is gone. He tried to contact his Speaker, but he's nowhere to be found. Whether he was eaten by something or sent home, neither one sounds promising. Especially if it's true about what becomes of the worlds the inhabitants are taken from.]
[Vicente doesn't otherwise show it, but he's quite down right now, since his only family is gone now. He goes to the library to hide away and sort himself out.]
[The food here is no substitution for the provided blood he and Lucien found, but he finds it's still good to keep up appearances.]

Library, here, have the zombiehunter kid that fangirls vampires (in movies)
Oh. Er.
[Right, not taking it out on the poor guy, he looks... actually. Kinda. Mean. Eridan shrugs lightly.]
I'm sorry, I thought there was no one here.

There is room enough for more than just me.

[He's nervous and excited and a little terrified all on his own, hang on, this whole using words thing is hard.]
Nevermind.
[Did he just stick his foot down his throat? He probably did. He would facepalm at himself if that weren't so obvious. So he's just. Going to go find a book now. He's totally not blushing green either, so be kind enough and don't notice that. Which is definitely not happening, at all, anywhere near his face. Right.]
I'll just... stop interrupting.

You are a strange one.
[Looks back down at his book. It's a book on artilary, which he chose at random.]
no subject
Yeeeah, I kinda. Get that a lot. Sorry.
[He offers a wry smirk, but it's kind of ruined by the fact his maw is full of needle-sharp fangs. It takes a while for it to register as wry. Whoops.]
no subject
Just what sort of Mer are you anyway?
[The pointed ears and varied skin color are typical characteristics of Mer. The horns are not.]
no subject
Mer?

[Pause.]
Oh, no. I'm not an elf. I'm a troll. [Adding quickly, remembering Gandalf's words and maybe raising his hands to look placating.] Not the kind that kills people, I mean. Well, okay, maybe some of the others are. Well, more like definitely, actually. But I mean! I don't mean you harm.
[Pause.]
Unless you mean me harm and then I might have to hurt you but hey, why bother. We're just... two... chill... bros here. Right?
[Oh god, please tell him he won't have to whip out that rifle without a safe test run first. Sob.]
no subject
[Looks the... troll up and down.]
You are the least hariest troll I have seen yet.
[To say nothing of how this one has only two eyes and horns.]
no subject
You've clearly never met the Gran Highblood.
[He shakes his head.]
It's okay, though. I get that trolls are kinda... different, where you come from. There's a bunch 'a us around here in the tower, though. I mean, trolls like me.

[Even if he himself is weak against fire, that doesn't stop him from using it on occassion.]
no subject
...why?

[The much-better-than-mine is somewhat heavily implied in his tone. But then, only if you're familiar with crippling deadpan, which is his modus operandi.]

"You are a strange thing, you are," Even still, he sat down in a chair and began reading.
